Puzzle Boxes & Downloadable Content
It is important to note from the start that the puzzle boxes for our game are delivered in the form of DLCs. A lot of these will be completely free if you own the base game and you will be able to get them as soon as they are made available. Others, mostly the illustrations provided by our partnering artists, will have to be purchased because artists are people too. We are aware of the controversy of DLCs and the love-hate relationship between them and gamers all over the world. However, there are some good reasons for us to structure the game in such a way.
First, we plan to provide you with new high-quality content on a regular basis. The easiest way to release that content quickly and efficiently is via DLC packages. Second, the UHD quality of our illustrations means that each puzzle box might often be well over 100 Mbs in size. You should not have to download tens of gigabytes of content that you might not currently need to play the game. And last but not least, the diversity of the art we plan to provide will often make certain puzzles click with different people. It is important that the right content for our diverse players can be found easily and quickly.
Remember, you don't have to acquire all of the DLCs for Masters of Puzzle. You only need to get the puzzle boxes you like and want to collect and play with.
About the Game
Do you love jigsaw puzzles and 3D simulations? So do we. Regrettably, we are not enjoying as many physical puzzles as we would like to. The reasons are usually simple but hard to circumvent: not enough personal time to spend on hours-long sessions, not enough space at home to keep a half-finished puzzle around for days, no friends around to help you build when you want to. 3D simulations, on the other hand, have become more and more intricate in replicating reality. They allow us to enter a virtual world to seek the same entertainment as we used to do in the physical world before. That’s why we want to give you the ultimate jigsaw puzzle experience with our game Masters of Puzzle. It’s a full 3D, physics enabled, beautiful simulation that you can enjoy whenever you want with whomever you want. Enjoy dozens of UHD puzzles in different styles and earn hundreds of achievements to show your mastery of puzzle building. Store your progress on any puzzle and resume at your convenience. Keep track of your and your friends' accomplishments, participate in regular and special events, enter into contests, and do so much more. Our incredible game aims to give you as much flexibility and entertainment as possible.
Masters of Puzzle is not a typical casual game, though. To experience the full 3D simulation of puzzle building in all its great aspects, you will need to invest time, master all the controls, and discover all the possible ways to manipulate your game environment. Once you accumulate sufficient skill and understanding of the puzzle assembly process, we guarantee you many hours of satisfactory gameplay.
Let us introduce you to the pleasure of building realistic jigsaw puzzles in a fully simulated, beautiful environment with active physics. Interact with surfaces, items, and the puzzle tiles themselves as if you’re standing in front of your real-world puzzle table. Use the same approach and habits you’ve always used before – but in a purely virtual scene instead. Create new strategies and explore all the various tools and gameplay preferences we offer - like sorting tiles in containers, gathering them in your virtual hand, or just scattering them around in pure pleasure.
All of our puzzles are generated procedurally based on a huge number of settings – some of these are even adjustable by yourself in the game options. Each puzzle can be sliced and distributed into one of the available box sizes at the start of each individual game. Furthermore, the form and disposition of the puzzle tiles can be completely changed when you create a new game even if you still use the same image and box size. Replay your favorite puzzles again and again with a fresh challenge every single time.
Speaking of challenge, our current puzzle box sizes include sets for beginners - 250, 500, 750, and 1000; sets for experienced players - 1500 and 2000; and sets for hardcore players - 2500, 3000, and 4000 tiles. The later 3 are extremely difficult to assemble and might take you many hours to complete. Our game aims to provide suitable configuration for every occasion or skill level – both for beginners and hardcore veterans alike.
There are literally hundreds of achievements to earn while playing and more are being added with every new puzzle box and game event. Game events are limited-time campaigns that take place during major holidays or other special occasions. While a game event lasts, a new selection of puzzle boxes will gradually be made available and a new set of limited achievements will be unlocked for the players. These limited achievements - or challenges, as we call them - can be earned only under special circumstances and usually only inside the limited timeframe of an event.
The base game comes with a good selection of free puzzles for you to enjoy. At some point though, you might want to try out new or different images. We plan to provide you on a regular basis with new collections of beautiful puzzles in various styles and painted by different artists. This new content in the form of DLC will adhere to the same replayability rules as the base content.
These are just the main features available in Masters of Puzzle, but there are also many others that you will find once you start playing. Additionally, we have plans to expand the game with regular updates and new features as we move forward. We maintain a public roadmap that can be accessed online and we include many of the community suggested features to it. See more in our community hub.
Note: All online services will require an active Internet connection as well as an active player profile created in the game server. However, you can still play the game without access to the Internet.

Do the work.
I don't know how to describe this beyond saying, "It's exactly like working with real jigsaw puzzles".
This is on of the most expensive puzzles games i have purchased. I initially didn't mind paying the £20 for the game since it looked like it was going to be one of the best created jigsaw puzzle games i have come across, which initially was true until a few problems cropped up that made me refund my first ever game on steam.
Firstly when it came to choosing a puzzle to do you are given some boring designs to choose from and very few that are free and included within the game price. If you want to do any of the more interesting and fun looking puzzles you need to buy a dlc! You would think there would be a lot more puzzles available to you for the original purchase price, which is something offered by a lot cheaper puzzle games on steam.
I understand the need to pay for future work done on the game via dlcs but i would have like to seen a lot more puzzles available within the original game price of £20.
This alone didn't push me to get a refund but it was a big factor as i feel like i definitely was not getting my moneys worth. The next issues i came across that really made me realise this game was not worth £20 was the amount of bugs. Completing puzzles in the game was already complex enough with the different components available and button assignments for certain actions but the bugs made things a lot more difficult and annoying. Puzzle pieces glitched to stopping just to the side of where it should and then would disappear through the table, puzzle pieces would need to be placed precisely on the point it goes for it to register it as right so you find yourself fidgeting around for ages with each piece making sure it definitely didn't go in each position you thought just in case it wasn't picking up the piece properly.
I am really disappointed with this because the game has potential to be one of the best jigsaw games out there but i just feel the quality and amount of content is just not good enough for the price.
This has to be one of the most annoying downloads ever buggy as hell and when it dose work its slow and clunky
I took the tutorial and this is definitely the best jigsaw puzzle game just like it says. I will be playing this a lot.
This is the only good jigsaw puzzle game.
Last Christmas I did a few jigsaw puzzles at the parents house, and thought, if only I could do this without taking up all the physical space. To my disappointment, most jigsaw puzzle games were apparently made by people who have never solved a jigsaw puzzle in real life, lacking good tools to sort pieces.
Masters of Puzzle is the exception. It lets you shuffle pieces around in a box, and sort them into bowls at the press of a button. You can grab pieces by the handful and spread them around the generous table space. Although the shapes of pieces are less distinctive than I would like, it is at least possible to match pieces by shape. Unlike other games, solving a 1000 piece puzzle in this game is actually tenable.
My biggest complaint is about the selection of available pictures. While there are more than I have time to do, they seem to fall in a narrow range of styles, and often containing large planes of a single color. I suggest that the developers check out other styles adopted by modern jigsaw puzzles, and include more intricate designs in future updates.
I liked this program so well on my husband's computer that he bought me a copy for my computer. Now that I have it on my computer also, when the version for being able to work on the same puzzle at the same time is available we are all set.
I enjoy jigsaw puzzle programs and have done many, but enjoy this one the best because of the wonderful graphics and content of the puzzles. They are very detailed and keep a person very engaged when building them. I like having the ability to choose the puzzle piece count from 250 pieces to 2000+ pieces per puzzle. When there are special events with special achievements involved, it is fun and challenging to complete all the achievements for that special event.
While this is an early access game, there are a few bugs to be worked out, but when they are reported the developer is very quick to respond and fix any issues.
Thank you and happy puzzling,

A jigsaw puzzle program for the serious puzzler. Beautiful classical Art and holiday themed challenges. This is a EA program and still has some features to be added and you can run into some bugs, however the Developer is very involved and quickly responds to your concerns. There is a bit of a learning curve but nothing that shouldn't be clear after the first puzzle or two.
This is not for the person looking for an hours entertainment. These puzzles are challenging and time consuming. They can take up to an hour or more just unloading the Puzzle box and organizing depending on the number of pieces you select. I have 192 hours logged as of this review and highly recommend this program.
I was left kinda perplexed as to how I was feeling with this puzzle game.
For starters, the plus side is the beautiful graphics of the puzzles and the game itself. This is what drew me to purchase it to begin with. The idea of immersively digging thru a tin of puzzle pieces is interesting. This is where my praise of this product ends.
First off, right at the start I was put off by the game "knowing" my steam account name and using it without my ever having "filled out a form, or game name". I felt a tad intruded upon by the games having snooped my account to get my name without me being aware of any permission I had given them to muck about in my business so to speak. It makes me wonder what all info they take from you account. Granted when I started the game it said I needed an account, and I click download anyway figuring the normal proceedure of filling out a registration form. That never happened, they just mucked about in my info and got it on their own. Sorry to say, this did not leave a good taste in my mouth, but by this point I figured I had gone this far so would check out the puzzle...
After alittle over half an hour into it, I had to rage quit it. I seriously was thinking of asking for a refund for the first time ever on steam. It took me 28 mins to painfully click and drag each piece slowly (painfully slowly) around in the tin looking for the edge pieces. Then trying to assemble them was a nightmare. First off I was constantly trying to use the R key to rotate them which would be logical, but instead had to keep using the Z & X keys to rotate the pieces. You then have to manuver the piece with absolute precision to the other piece and drop it in place with multiple attempts to get it just right for it to snap in place. Normally putting puzzles together is a mindless relaxation for me, this was pure frustration inducing.
I really wish I could say I reccomend this game because the graphics are so nice, and the concept intriging, but alas I can not at this point. I would reconsider if they fix a few things, first and foremost, don't snoop a persons account, have them fill out a form properly where they knowingly consent. Other suggestions would be use the R key to rotate the pieces, loosen up the requirements to snap a pice in place, and lastly maybe have a way to dump the puzzle pieces out on the table much like you would IRL.
This game brings a whole new take on the jigsaw puzzle theme, and attempts to recreate the true 3D feel of a puzzle board, including the box and all the pieces modeled as you would pick them up by hand, rotate them, and place them. Full keyboard control makes it very easy to move around (WASD and other natural key settings). The game is in EA so it's understood that many features are still in development, but what is there on day one can already keep one entertained for very long, since there's the option to play the puzzles also with very large numbers of pieces. Surely a project that deserves support!
