Fabulous - Angela's Wedding Disaster

For now my favourite part of the Fabulous series. The minigames make it a bit harder and more entertaining. The story and the graphics and animations are great and it was very fun to play it. Some levels are pretty hard even with all the bonus you can get through the upgrades. I can really highly recommend this part

I really enjoyed the game and would recommend it. However, there is still one bug which was reported ages ago. When I was on the last stage (from lvl50) one day I opened the game and all my progress was gone and none of the solutions offered helped me to get it back. I had to play it all over and hope it won't happen again as with some other people it happened a couple of times during one playthrough.

I love the Fabulous games, but this one is too difficult to even enjoy. I'm not even sure I'll finish it with of hard some levels are.

Great little game. Challenging at times even for experienced players. No one like to 'One-shot' a game. Recommended x

Absolute worst title of all games from GameHouse.
Even with full upgrades and checking out 5-6 customers at once you will really struggle to get 3 stars. The only way to get 3 stars at that point is to deliberately fail the level to get more points the next time. How stupid is that?

I love these sort of games but I really dislike this one and have a really hard time motivating myself to continue. I keep failing levels by just a few points and either have to try again trying the same thing again or fail once to try again? Waste of time.

The graphics in this game are bright and colorful.

GAME PLAY
This is a time management and point and click game.

AUDIO
The nice thing about this game is that the music changes for each chapter so you don't go crazy listening to the same tune over and over.

DIFFICULTY
This isn't a difficult game. I think it's a normal difficulty. There isn't a way to change to an easier or expert difficulty.

GRINDING
The only time that you would grind would be if you want to buy everything. You can get all the achievements without grinding.

STORY
These stories are great. It's a fun continuation of Angela's story. You do see characters from other story lines in this universe.

GAME TIME
Average game time.

PRICE
Well worth the price.

BUGS
Only once did I have a glitch where the screen kept flashing on and off. I just uninstalled and then reinstalled and never had another problem. I didn't lose my save when I uninstalled/reinstalled.

I like most of these games. this one was a lot harder to get the three stars in all the levels but I finely did it.

I really like Gamehouses Delicious Emilys series and Fabulous Angela series. Fun time killer!

Incredibly hard for a casual game and not really much of a story. Not recommended.

In more detail:

I've played a LOT of Gamehouse games, and the entire Fabulous series. I thought the plots were generally good enough to serve as a decent sitcom episode and keep me invested, while the gameplay occasionally whirred between challenging and frustrating, but was never outright impossible.

Neither is the case here. The plot deals with Angela working in a series of wedding-dress stores. The weddings which serve as the focus for each episode are not her own, nor of any particularly major character (2 moderately recurring characters who are introduced in this game and a bunch of one-offs). There aren't really any stakes for Angela herself.

But that's mostly besides the point - the plot is marginally amusing, if not quite "burn down your high-school reunion and spend an episode in jail" levels of fun.

The real problem? The game is incredibly, unreasonably hard. For some god forsaken reason, the creators decided to rebalance the gameplay after the game was ported to PC, so that it's impossible to get three stars in many levels even with all the upgrades. The suggested solution for those having trouble? Fail each levels once, getting no stars, so that you restart with a pity bonus.

To reiterate - I've completed a LOT of these games, and never felt so unreasonably frustrated. Not recommended.

I don't know. I think I just don't genuinely enjoy the Fabulous games. :\ I love Delicious, I love Hearts Medicine and I love Amber's Airline.. But Fabulous...I don't know! Maybe it's because I don't like Angela as a character(Which I don't, she never seems to learn anything.) or if I'm just not interesting in her story or what. I just...don't like it? I really wanted to, but the other two Fabulous games were SUCH a drag to play. This one is no different.

I think what I dislike about Fabulous is the clothes making mechanic, I think this alone breaks up the flow of gameplay. When you play these games, you get into sort of a rhythm. Making the dresses breaks up that rhythm and it's really hard to get it back up, which results in lower scores.

I don't recommend. If you want a better time-management game, just play one of Gamehouses' many other time management series and stay away from Fabulous.

If you like time management games, this is a fun way to spend your time. There's a good story, enough difficulty to keep it engaging and different enough game play then others in her series to keep you on your toes. If you've played some of the other games by Game House, this is a good one, though I do love the others as well.

Absolutely love the game designs; especially been able to experience different cultures from one game is most definitely enjoyable. Once again, I extremely love the story for this season. It truly reflects upon the friendship between Angela and Fabulous Four. Also, the love life from different couples especially Fran and Caroline.

meh..didn't rlly like this one as much as the other fabulous games :/ this one lacked a storyline and getting all the achievements was rather difficult also the title of this game is such clickbait ehhh 5/10 for me sis

I enjoyed the game, the challenges and the achievements. BUT the story lacked character, I was excited to see the name of Angela's Wedding Disaster. I thought to myself, finally Angela is also gonna have a grand wedding and meeting her prince. The title is misinformation in my opinion, all you do as Angela is work at different boutiques, THAT'S IT!! The story really lacked in a STORY, I'm really disappointed with the whole concept. It's like the developers ran out of a story and just released this game to add it to the collection. Not recommending this one!!

Between Fabulous games I’m fairly certain Angela suffers some sort of head injury, or goes on a wood alcohol drinking binge, because in each game she starts out shallow and grows to become a better, more caring and insightful person. Then in the next game, all growth seems to be gone, and she’s back to her old shallow self, so she can once again learn and grow. All this means that the first few chapters of her games, she can be hard to like, but as you progress, the ‘real’ Angela emerges and you can start rooting for her again.

This time, Angela, fresh from her success in the last game, assumes she is the best fashion designer ever. When upstaged by her mentor’s mentor, she to her credit recognises that maybe she doesn’t know everything about wedding dresses just yet, and badgers him into taking her on as his new apprentice. Thus begins Angela’s trek from one theme wedding shop to another. Along the way a good friend announces they’re getting married, and of course Angela and the Fab Four must ruin, I mean help them.

The game is funny and challenging, albeit a tad frustrating when virtually every character decides to behave wildly unprofessionally for little obvious reason.

My only real complaint is that, like the last game, there are NO difficulty settings. So if you’re ill, disabled, new to gaming, or just not that great at it, good luck completing the game or getting all achievements. And for that matter, if you’re very good at this sort of game, you won’t be able to switch to ‘expert’ difficulty to gain a new challenge.

Do you like time management? Do you like fashion? Do you like really soap opera-y storylines with silly misadventures? Then this is definitely your game!

Usually I adore these Game House games, I loved the first two Angela games and I'm a big fan of the Delicious and Snugford (Snuggford?) universe as a whole. So I'm used to the difficulty and the management that goes into these games....I just don't understand what happened in this game?

The misclicks have been major in this edition to the series, I've attempted on three different occasions to wrap a tall bottle and somehow completely miss the wrapping paper? Mouse locations seem to be a bit easier (which is nice!), but goodness no matter how quick I am the customers always seem to get angry even more so? Upgrades didn't do anything to calm all these angry shoppers.

I'm unsure of what I'm doing wrong- again I am very used to these games and I understand the effort put in to master them but its only the first area and I'm already having difficulty that typically occurs in the endgame stages? If you're interested in the series start with the first game, and if you're a master pick this up.

One good note is this game seems very centralized towards fashion over food (I wanted to design prom dresses not cater to a bunch of teens (I'm speaking on the 2nd game, focused on the Reunion/Prom)). And overall the designs for the dresses are interesting and fun! As well as design changes to customers and challenges.

I love this series as it's so over dramatic and such a guilty pleasure. This one wasn't as good as the previous two, but I still enjoyed it.

Angela's games never disappoint me! It is always fun to see what Angela is up to! This time she met a famous fashion designer named Sebastian who she didn't hesitate to ask him to mentor her, but would this be an easy task? The game's theme is weddings, each area she travels to will have its own story and bride. I enjoyed all of them equally and loved those cute dress designs.

The gameplay is the same as before, time management where you have to serve people quickly before they lose their patience. I have to say it is pretty difficult to get three stars in all of those levels but I'll keep on trying. Every achievement you get will earn you a sticker on Angela's journal, they all look pretty, especially with this flamingo theme which is a trend now in 2018! She sure knows her fashion!

Music is fun in this game, suitable for each area. Sadly you don't get to play as Angela's friends like in the previous game, however, the last area technique is really fun especially when you get to play with two characters at the same time! I liked that collaboration. I also liked the new addition of the 'dress up' section. You'll get the chance to use the gems you earn when you win a challenge to purchase models, and customs and make your own designs! Some of the comments on those outfits are funny!

Pros:
+Beautiful graphics and outfit designs.
+Very creative achievement journal.
+Cool and likable characters, especially Sebastian who I wish he will be around in the next games.
+Enjoyable story with funny moments.

Cons:
- Needs custom mouse cursor (Sometimes you can't see the default small system cursor when the stage is busy)
- The game is a little bit difficult compared to the previous games, there is no option to change the difficulty.
-No steam cloud.

Everything looks pretty in this game- almost to perfection except that it doesn't have a custom cursor design. You will play with the tiny plain windows cursor- unless you use a custom one. I highly suggest the developers make a custom cursor so we can see it when the place gets busy! Other than that, the game is awesome and I highly recommend it to people who love this genre and love games with a heavy story.

Summary: Average Casual (Diner Dash like) wedding game

It's a pretty casual game, the MC is ditzy and all over the place but it was pretty fun. Time flies as you play it for sure and the minigames are varied so thats pretty nice! I think you should totally get it when its on discount, I bought it for ~$9.50 and i think thats a pretty alright price.

The story is "Eh" I think there are supposed to be like 'lessons learned' in each chapter of the game but they seemed kind of awkward AHA~
