In short: for the money you're paying you're not getting much more than what's in the trailer, really. Just a good looking pics.
Personally, I think the game has a difficult control system. Handling is still a problem. Things can go through the door and disappear. complex scene transitions The navigation arrows are difficult to use. The puzzle itself is difficult to understand and must be interpreted and sometimes you have to wait for the scene to continue.
This game consumes almost 80% of your time. The final scene requires you to wait and wait and wait if you want to know the story (which he does well). I deducted points because this point seemed to take up more than 2 hours of your time. hours if it can be done. Also some object required to pass the level one thing looks very blend to the environment and it took times to find (this annoying thing).
Good model, good pose It's just difficult to access. Beautiful environment.
A very buggy game, it froze and crashed even though I was playing on the most powerful PC with 32 GB of RAM with a VR driver
I don't prefer this game. Puzzles are so easy but you cannot see anything that you want. So its just about puzzles and it doesn't deserve its price.
Playable with Index.
Nothing special. Just a little techdemo. Would say its oky for under 5 bugs if you like to collect such stuff.
Wish, I would have a fast forward button.
There are no SPECIAL interaction with the maincharcs as far as I found out. But the fact that they have some "inner organs" makes me think...
Disgusting Game:
1. Lots of bugs.
2. Low fps.
3. Passed in 30-60 minutes.
4. Primitive graphics.
5. Very few opportunities.
6. No interesting content. None at all.
Yay, free assets mushed together and called it a game, sold to h*rny ppl who own a VR.
I've played for a couple hours on the Day Elf quest and I've really enjoyed it so far. The graphics are pretty good, the content appeals to both my D&D side and hormonal side. I recommend giving it a try. That said, there are some improvements that could be made. I'm a software developer myself and I'll try to give constructive criticism when due.
* I would like to see more content either through patches or DLCs.
* After you complete a few short tasks, you get to play. Expand the world to have more tasks, each with it's own reward. Think like a Leisure Suit Larry game from the past. Maybe the elves start with more clothing and with each task, she feels comfortable to remove something else. I feel the anticipation would add to the experience.
* Some others have mentioned it, but full on s*x would be a great final reward.
* Add more elves, like a dark-skinned Drow or a red-haired northern Wood Elf.
* There is an adventure place called, Magic Quest, in several cities around the US. You go in, buy a wand (which you decorate with other add-ons) then you walk around the place doing "magic". You point at a picture and it changes or gives you a clue to your next quest, etc. As you go around the Elven Love (more open world) you could do things like rescue a bucket from a well with a levitation spell and have the grateful maiden reward you with something. It could be as something as simple as clothing to dress your elf friend or something more.
All in all, I think this is a good first release. It's showing the potential of how fantasy, VR and SX can be merged together. I'm looking forward to what comes next.
What a horrible let down. I had been waiting for this game to go on sale for a while and I'm honestly sorry I bought it now. Going to even try for a refund because, honestly, what a joke. Beat the game in just over an hour. AND WHAT IS WITH THE NUDITY FILTER IN A GAME THAT IS SUPPOSED TO BE ABOUT NAKED ELVES???? It's not even disable-able. Don't buy this game. Four puzzles that were easy as they could be... and the longest part of the game was the 20 minute intro that was a waste of time and the 5 minute boat ride at the end of the game where you don't even get to see the original island. BEYOND STUPID.
for the amount you're paying, my dudes the internet is free. type what you wanna watch in a search bar. dont buy this.
Pros: Semi-clever puzzle design.
Decent models.
Ok animation.
Cons: 4 puzzles in total and 3 of them were just "follow this scroll".
Models bug out in posing and you can pose WELL beyond the deform position.
Criminally short for the roughly 15 dollar price tag (1500 yen).
No options for interaction with the models beyond posing.
No "fun" scenes.
If you played VR Kanojo and bought this thinking "hey, cool, another one" you will be SORELY disappointed. Honestly, it should be marked as early access because it feels ENTIRELY like an alpha of something MUCH better.
I believe in giving everything a try before knocking it but this game isn't one of them.
PROBLEMS
1. NO NUDITY
After stripping the girls everything was pixelated and I hate that.
2. STILL BUGGIE
I tried to do the ritual to open the final door but it ether got stuck or just didn't work. More instructions would be nice.
3. WONKY WAND
There's a wand that makes the girls dance and pose in different positions by drawing different symbols in the air. Problem is it doesn't recognise some of the shapes or fades before finishing drawing.
4. INTRO TO SLOW
There is a lovely intro story but the text takes too long to move on. I'm dyslexic and I have trouble reading so that is RELY saying something. Pressing a button to go to the next text or page would be nice for people like me.
First of all, this isn't a sex game, I would say mild at best. Sure you get to see naked girls but that's about it; there's no intimacy or reaction from the girls. You have several wands in which you can make them take on different positions or completely stretch them out of proportions, and one that looks like a jizz stick of some sorts. The puzzle parts are frustrating at best... they are easy, however, the challenging part is getting around the limitations the game opposes on you... I mean seriously, how is one supposed to collect items on the freaking ground if there's no way to reach them.
EDIT: I'm changing this to a negative review because the stripped out sex scenes. Naughty Ritual manuscript is not present in the game. The developer chose to release another built for the same game instead of releasing an added DLC or patch. They purposely broke it to make it appear incomplete. If you got screwed and cannot refund use my patch, it will save you some bucks.
Uncensor Patch to restore sex (remove spacing)

The model quality (I prefer the blonde elv) is above average. Do not forget to get the uncensor instructions on the official website.
Most of the play time is waiting for animation scenes to play out. The final scene just has you sitting on a boat for like 5-10 minutes doing absolutely nothing. Not enough interactivity and feedback from the elves and both scenes are identical in the sense that they acheive the exact same thing.
I was very much looking forward to see what this game has to offer. But I have to say, I am disapponted, it was a terrible experience when I got it. At the start, you get this elf standing, with deadish eyes following you. You are supposed to use a bunch of wands to reposition her, or throw sparks at her or whatever. You are then confornted with a bunch of cryptic diagrams to follow through, so you can eventually get to strip her or something.
Moving her arms and legs around proved to be a total illusion breaker as her body twists in unreal ways, polygons collapsing on each others, knee turning backwards and all. So it was useless. Then I had to rearrange a bunch of symbols on a platform in the correct formation as indicated on a scroll. I had to take the scroll with me to the platform so I can use it to rearrange the signs. I placed the scroll on the platform, and then suddently the scroll sank inside the solid object. Now nowhere to reach for it. In VR this leads to the unreal effect of a scroll disappearing inside a wall and that you need to get it back! It's like a nightmare. So now, how am I supposed to know how to rearrange the tokens. Exit, reload, start all over again and eventually I managed to do it without loosing the dreaded scroll. All that effort led to this: she would lie down and drink from the fountain underneath the platform. That's it. Really!!!??? Is this supposed to be fun.
Waste of money. Should have gone for Skyrim VR instead which I will now for sure.
The game is pretty and I ran across no technical or framerate issues on a 1080.
The Elves do not get nude unless you "fix" the game. DuckDuckGo can provide you with that answer if you want it.
The game has potential, but there is simply not enough to do. Solve a few puzzles, unlock wands then pose the elves and make them dance.
It would make a great demo or, 99cent game. I can't recomend it at full price. The game is not bad, I rather enjoyed what there was of it, there just is not enough content.
The only elf I ever met was one in the mall. I asked them for a new daddy and my mom just started crying so we had to leave. This game was much better than that.

TL;DR- Elven Love is plagued with graphical and technical bugs, is missing content ingame in regards to the core gameplay, is poorly optimized, and lacks documentation and user customizability in what feels more like an alpha to an Early Access game to a full release for me to recommend it to anyone. My recommendation- avoid it; go get something like WSS which is much more developed and feature filled with more advanced model interactions and expandability than this.
Technical issues
-- No user guide- there's no manual informing of what buttons do what. Playing the game for the first 30 minutes or so was a tedious experience in pressing different button combinations to see the effect they had.
- No settings menu- some wands can only be equipped on the right hand and movement is enabled entirely through the thumpstick on the left joystick; the lack of being able to map hands yields to unintuitive user playthroughs when playing with ones non-dominant hand. There's no settings menu of any kind to that end- so being able to toggle your height or reset your rotation is impossible.
- Poorly optimized- I'm running a Ryzen 1700 with a GTX1080 and the framerates choppy which results in shaky/ nauseating gameplay.
- No way to set rotations- the game requires looking behind oneself in certain sections; if you don't have 360 tracking- progresing without having the camera and joysticks move all around the place is impossible.
- Unintuitive button maps- the game has unclothed models, but after unlocking them; they're the default renders when entering rooms. When asked on the game's discussion board, the way to load the clothed models is to press backspace on your keyboard before entering said rooms. This isn't mentioned anywhere ingame, and users not looking there would likely never discuss this. This is compounded on the fact that A and X on Oculus controllers resets the game to the menu with no prompt or warning; which is infuriating given their prominent placement which may yield to accidental button presses.
- Buggy responsiveness- the game requires picking up flowers and objects to craft things- You will have to pick them up multiple times as they deselect themselves if you move too fast or randomly when picking them up for the first time. There's a section where you need to pound a herb in a bowl for a mixture- it's impossible to hold the bowl in one hand and the hammer/tool in the other since the game won't let you, so you need to place the bowl on a virtual table and carefully lower said hammer down slowly as to not drop the bowl of the table- which if you do and if it goes too far- it falls of the player traversable area requiring a reset to the room which resets your progress. This is perhaps made worse by the physics inconsistencies- some objects have momentum when thrown ingame- others fall flat like a stone.
- Unintuitive object placements- the player has a wand that can be waved in certain ways to have the elves take on different poses and animations- the scroll to do so though spawns behind you! Players need to keep turning behind to look at a spell, cast it (when it actually works and registers your cast correctly), and then look at the elf again which is really tiresome.
Gameplay issues
-All this would likely be forgiveable if the gameplay wasn't as unpolished as it is. The core gameplay loop is enter one of two rooms where you have a dark and light elf; use a wand to have them stand in different poses or do the mackerna (I wish I was kidding, but this is true), and solve two puzzles which are essentially place things in a certain way to unlock the ending which is the two elves spawning in and walking down a corridor, facing eachother, and then just hovering in the air-
- Underdeveloped gameplay- several poses are repeated/ duplicated across different spells; you'd expect atleast 15 different poses or so for the different wand combinations. The game has a distinct lack of content which is plagued with having it duplicated through the game- the elves basically either sit on a stool, lie down, stand, or do the mackerena.
- The ending's terrible and anticlimatic which falls short of the different animations players could select previously to just have them lookup to 2 floating elves for eternity.
[*]There's no voiceacting of any kind- the elves just stare at you.
Game looks interesting but was shocked at how horrible the framerate is. There is nothing really going on to tax your card at all - Stuttering hands usually indicate low FPS...... I was getting 40 with SS turned off.
I would definantly wait until this game is patched before purchasing it.
Gaming on: i5 8700k / GTX 1080
nice!!
beautiful elves and overall good quality.
easily uncensored.
10/10 what am I doing with my life
The patch that you're looking for is so easy to find, you might miss it. Good graphics, good music, relaxing scenes. Would use the Splooge wand again 10/10.
