Redemption: Tyranny of Daetorem

Picked this up during the Summer sale. 74 cents? Totally worth it. Have played 74 cents worth of game already. Graphics vary between decent and entertainingly horrible. Random encounters can be a little annoying, but it's got the feel of an old school nintendo rpg and the learning curve is very easy. Would recommend.

I have only played for just over an hour, but thought I would give a quick review before I continue the game. I am loving it. I am playing in "mild" mode, which is like story mode, and my favourite mode in this type of game. I like the battles, which I am not all that keen on, to be easy. I play these games for the fun of exploration, side quests, finding and buying stuff, and don't much care for the battles. In mild mode they are pretty easy, so that's perfect for me.

I love the graphics and easy gameplay, and highly recommend this game to those players who, like me, don't buy hard-core RPGs and prefer story-mode type of games.
