HoD is a first-person adventure game (aka walking simulator) taking you into a steampunk inspired scenery. To progress in the game, you will have to find the items required to fix or crack open the locked doors, that you are going to face. Each door reveals a new, unique and interesting room to explore.
Once you have left the ship, the world you find yourself in, becomes even more confusing and disturbing. The unpleasant truth is awaiting you at the very end of your path back into reality. There will be action sequences towards the end.
What to expect:
- A playing time of about 2 hours.
- Steampunk-inspired graphics.
- Many unique and intriguing rooms and areas to explore.
- Some challenging puzzles.
- English and German (and Irish) voice acting.
- Retro 3D graphics mode.
- Full gamepad support inside the game (except for the launcher).
Started out as a personal project a decade ago, HoD 1 is finally about to be finished! All assets have been originally created for this game.
Targeting not only PCs but mobile platforms alike, highly optimized graphics and shaders allowed me to bring the same visual experience to players on most devices.

Nice graphics and fun figuring out what to do. Cool narrator voice. Irish narrator is very funny. The 10 minute speed run achievement is a bit asinine though. Had to try is 6 times before I unlocked it and i knew exactly what to do every attempt.
Fun, short game. Really cool ending and I'm hoping the second game gets made!
very nice.. just short.. can't wait for episode 2
Huge let down. Boring. I read all these reviews about great puzzles so i bought it. There are 2 puzzles. One is good and the other is avg. The graphics look great and it didn't freeze or anything, but this game sucks. There is little to no direction on what your objective is. There are many objects you would think are interactive, but they aren't. The end came rather abruptly and I don't know what happened, but it's so boring I don't even care.
Not really sure where all of the positive reviews are coming from... I bought this game because people were leaving positive comments. At the start I was pretty interested but halfway through I begin to lose it very quickly. Nothing is going on in the game. You walk around a few areas, pick up a few items, use them and then game over. I think what made me lose interest so fast was the the fact that there were so many things around that you would think you should be able to interact with that you can't. Levers, buttons, etc. Things that you would think would require some use in a game like this. Now, I realize this is early access and maybe they plan on making the first episode longer and more engaging but as it stands right now, even at 3.99 I wouldn't recommend anyone playing it. Personally I wish I had waited and maybe later on had a more interesting experience. As it stands now though, it is just whatever.
Harvester of Dreams is a first-person adventure game with a psychological aspect. It takes about 60 to 90 minutes to finish without prior knowledge, but even after 5+ hours I still can't find some of the secrets. I bought this game in early access a long time ago, so it's very nice to see it being completed (I had my doubts after such a long delay). However, it's only the first episode; it does not have a conclusion for the narrative. You will probably have more questions than answers before it ends. The developer has been open for feedback, even putting some of my small suggestions into the final version, such as adding useless interactions with the environment (Half-Life style). While this game might be a bit niche for a general audience, its unique fantasy settings caught my attention. You will explore a mysterious airship that has many claustrophobic corridors and fun rooms with disturbing scenes. There are not many puzzles, but I liked the creativity behind them. It sounds like the developer replaced the original English voice acting, making it a lot more tolerable. It does not have the most compelling story out there, but for the low price, I think it's worth playing once.
