Experienced on the Oculus Rift with Touch Controllers
So I have only played this game for 30 minutes, but it's actually two attempts at playing. Both times I got very sweaty ... yeah I'm out of shape but this game is intense too. It reminds me a lot of Fruit Ninja 2.0. It has all the improvements, variety, and progression that Fruit Ninja VR doesn't have.
So what are you chopping? Well, not fruit that's for sure. You're chopping little enemies that fly out at you. You can dual wield swords or go sword and board. Honestly, though, you'll want to dual wield. You'll have to dodge enemy attacks and/or parry them when you can. So you'll be moving left to right, while swinging both arms a prodigious amount of times in the air.
There's lots of upgrades to your gear. There's several special abilities you can use and unlock. You'll definitely want to buy a new sword when you can. And after a few levels, you'll get to face off against bosses. That's where I am right now and that sucker is a true test of your endurance. And the ability to keep one eye on the boss and another at projectiles coming at you.
I got this on a Steam Sale for $4. It's a great deal. I think it's worth the $10. Just get it. Perfect for family fun as well.
