Medieval Real Estate is an extremely badly made Flash-like clicker game with a simple premise... you click on various houses as they pop up and their price rises, and sell them as their price drops. You also have a hunger meter??? No actual game design went into this garbage, and no implementation effort either... it was made with the craptastic GameGuru drag-and-drop FPS creator, but it's not even an FPS. Don't worry, GameGuru invariably results in crap games regardless of the kind of game it was abused to create.
From a technical perspective, the game doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard.
There's no options to change the resolution for the game or customise the graphics settings. There's no way for gamers to ensure this is running at the native resolution of their displays... there's no guarantee this game will look right on any PC as a result of this hamfisted design decision. There's no way for gamers to try improve the low quality graphics.
The game features extremely lazy, minimalist "art", of the type you normally expect to see in low effort Flash/browser games and mobile apps. Considering this is being evaluated as a PC game, having the graphics phoned in like this isn't going to result in a high quality, visually impressive game that PC gamers are used to seeing.
The controls can't be customised because the game has such a dumbed down, simplified interface that it's just point and click stuff like a browser/Flash game. The fact that the interface is this dumbed down might be seen as a problem in itself, however... this is a fairly shallow experience if you're the kind of gamer that likes to play games with deep, rich control schemes and interaction. You'll get none of that here.
Some of the defects in the game can be attributed to the choice of using the video game construction kit/toolset, GameGuru FPS Creator. This is a very poor quality toolset sometimes used by amateur/unskilled developers as it doesn't require advanced game development skills, but unfortunately has very limited capabilities. Just as you can't make a silk purse out of a sows ear, you can't make a great video game if you use a terrible engine.
The very poor quality of this game puts it squarely on-par with ancient 1990's Flash/Java games, and given it's 2023 (and this was released not so far back in 2018), gamers and the industry expect and deserve better than this kind of low effort shovelware.
These technical defects push this game below acceptable standards for any modern PC game.
The poor quality of this game is reflected by how many people spent time with it. At the time of this review, SteamDB shows the all-time peak player number was only 2 players. This is a remarkably low number, and now, the only player activity occurs once or twice a month, presumably someone loading it up to see what it is then quickly uninstalling it. Considering there's over 120 million gamers on Steam and well over 50,000 games for gamers to choose from (over 9,000 completely free titles), the overwhelming lack of interest in this low quality game is to be expected.
Medieval Real Estate is relatively cheap at $1 USD, but it's not worth it. Given the defects and quality issues with the game, coupled with the unrealistic price, this is impossible to recommend.
A very simple game about property management in medieval times with a constant supply of house appearing all with different market values. Buy low sell high!
Got this game years ago for 79% off (Paid $1.20 when the price was $6.00) and I decided it's finally time to try it. First off, a $1.20 is still too high of a price for this "game" if you can even call it that. It's has five minutes of content, literally. You'll play it for five minutes and either realize this is all to it, or you'll get bored. Now I'm a fan of tycoon/simulator games, but this... This is bad. It's not fun, it's simple, too simple. The market itself makes no sense in my opinion it's all over the place with very little room for error. Then there is that horrible hunger and health system which by itself has no place for this type of tycoon game. The health and hunger system also goes up in price as time progresses (without any tips telling you otherwise!) I would steer clear of this one, save that money for a coffee or something.
I bought this game for very little, and even then, it was still a waste of money. It looks like a property management game, but it's just about timing clicks and waiting for numbers to change. I only played for as long as I did, about 30 minutes, to see if there was more to it that I had missed. There isn't. I wouldn't recommend this game, even if it was completely free.
Purchased with a 75% coupon, the 'game' constantly crashes and freezes upon starting up. Eventually when staying tabbed into the game for the entire 2 minute launch time, looped music, and menu screen that consists of two options to play or go to desktop, the gameplay boils down to clicking a house, then clicking it again when the price goes up. Also you're losing health and hunger randomly, so you have to heal and feed yourself. That's all it is. Don't recommend spending money on this.
This game is uh, not great. If there was saving, it'd be tolerable I suppose, but there isn't.
This "game" barely qualifies as a game. buildings appear on a background with a number over them, the number increases for a bit, and then goes down. the "Goal" is to click on them while they're increasing, and then click on them again once they go down.
There's a food and health system that requires you to occasionally click on something else.
That's a... LIDL game... No bugs tho
Got a 75% coupon for it, with this price it becomes pretty much worth the cost. I should come back to it in a while, expecting to see much more of a game than it is now.

UPDATE: Changed my mind, the company that's making those haven't really published any decent games, I really doubt it will ever improve this game in the future.
Even with those discounts... not worth it.

A pretty neat game. For the price I think it was good. You buy homes and sell them for a higher price. The music is nice. The are is decent. It's a great game for killing some time.
