In the beginning of the 23rd century, humans lost the Earth. Artificial intelligence turned against its creator, and every android was updated with a new directive- to eliminate humans.
Cities are abandoned, radiation levels are too high, and remaining people are slowly dying out. Some of the survivors are hiding in the Deadlands, ruins of ancient cities destroyed by past nuclear wars, and are fighting back. But the enemy is stronger, and the only way for humans to survive is to attack.
Mexico City arcology, once the global capital, is the ultimate goal. Deadly machines and hostile androids protect the mainframe of a supercomputer that controls the planet. Getting back Mexico City is the only way to turn the tide of war.
You are codenamed Blackbird, the first successful hybrid of a human brain and a machine. Tomorrow morning, in a desperate attempt to turn the tide of war, you will intercept a cargo train bound for Mexico City, infiltrate deep inside enemy territory and try to bring city defense systems down from the inside.
Once resistance assault ships are inside, the ultimate battle for the future of humanity is set to begin.

This is one of the best VR games I've ever played. I REALLY hope they some out with a full length game with all this has to offer and more! The physics are perfection, the environmental kill options are cum worthy. I had a BLAST start to finish and went straight through the game in one sitting. I recommend Easy mode for the best game feel. I don't think most people, other than hardcore VR gymnast veterans would be able to last long any higher than that. Bravo devs!!!
Probably really good for the time but is very meh nowadays, pretty sure i picked it up for 50p and it's kinda worth it for about that much, i think a bag of haribos would've lasted longer though as the whole campaign is just under an hour if you do it deathless. Could be a good introduction to new vr players trying to get over the motion sickness thing but only buy it on a sale or just get a better game lol.
Naked sun is a nice rail shooter you can have a fun couple of minutes. But not much longer. If you are slow and die a lot it will still take you under an hour to finish the whole game. And you will be happy it is over - you already saw everything there is repeated many many times. But still, if you get it on sale for a dollar - it's not wasted money.
So why the negative review?
Well, the game stopped working. I managed to get one playthrough (with some crashes before), but now the game always crashes after a few minutes. So this would be a positive review if the game were not so buggy.
A great looking and enjoyable rails shooter. It has it's flaws, largely in the audio department. But if you're getting it cheap you can't complain. The Campaign ending is a bit of an anticlimax too. But I'm going to give it a thumbs up. Hard mode was challenging. I dropped to Normal at the last stage to complete it.

good weapon mechanics and alot of enemies and hazards to neutralise.
Don't expect much from $6 game.
If this game were released in early 2017, this would be quite impressive VR game. Let's just say this is too old for now days.
Game itself is very short. takes 1 hour to complete story mode and challenge mode is just story mode with score system.
There are 7 types of enemies including boss. normal dude, big dude, 2 exactly same drones, normal dude with shield, big dude with shield and boss drone. (Even the boss fight wasn't feel like boss fight)
combat is repetitive. shoot bad guys, collapse some structures, shoot bad guys. repeat.
the difference between difficulties are just HP of bad guys. with your full-auto akimbo pistols, difficulty means nothing.
Nice graphics and sound, good production quality but zero depth. Just a rail shooter that gets repetitive very fast.
Pretty good rail shooter with a surprising amount of depth. I'm not sure if I'd recommend for full price, but considering I got this for like $0.85, I think it's great. Felt challenged but not overwhelmed, which is great in a physical VR game.

Story takes around 60 minutes, so its very short. That one short hour was fun though.
Graphics are okay, but the HUD hovering in front of you isn't the best implementation. Shield and Rocket HUD-Elements on the gun it would be better than constantly hovering in my face I think.
No motion sickness at all which is also great

This is an arcade on the rails shooter. It's fun for what it is. Very short story mode with no real story. You can probably beat the full game in 30 - 40 minutes but there are additional arcade modes. It's worth a couple bucks
Simple, short but sweet on rails shooter.
Its arcadey, and fun.
You are on a sort of tram that moves forward, enemies attack you in your journey, you have to destroy them before they destroy you.
Graphics are futuristic minilamistical looking, performace was great with steady 120fps on a 1080.
Feels polished, everything is smooth and works as youd expect it to.
The game is a bit on the short side with the main campaing on normal lasting about 1hr, but it also goes on steep sale pretty often.
Easy to recommend when its on one of those +80% sales, great fun for new and veterans worth at least 1 run.
Nice game with good simple graphics. Short thought first play though about 50mins and I've never played a FPS type game EVER. Seems developer as disappeared so don't expect any updates any time soon. Got on Summer steam sale for 0.47p so not a big investment by anymeans. Nice fun game to get feet wet in FPS type games as now I'm looking for other VR fps type games in future instead of purely Driving Sims.

It's short. Under an hour on normal. I actually didn't die and kinda hated the shield mechanic (more so firing through it). But damn it was just a simple pleasure though. An arcade on-rails shooter that made me feel like I was in an immersive light gun arcade.
Don't buy it full price, even at $6 it would be a hard recommend. But at the right price I don't care if it's short. It was less than a drink at McD's.
Probably the best 47p I have ever spent in my life. This is a VR experience worth playing. Great controls with a simplistic design that is not to complex. Great gun play with a very unique take for a on rails shooter. The depth of field and distancing feel very real and you really feel like you are in this huge environment moving along on a train. Great fun, Great game.

This game is pretty good, if not a little short. Takes less than an hour to finish on normal, but there are 3 difficulty levels to choose from and an arcade mode.
There are 3 levels, the first two you are on a futuristic train and the third you are on a descending cargo lift. It's an on-rail shooter so you stand in a stationary position as the train/lift moves through the world.
You have a hand gun in each hand that can be set to single shot or rapid fire. Also you can use a shield with your left hand and lock-on rockets with your right (from level 2 onwards).
I enjoyed this game, the graphics are decent, the voice acting is ok, the music fits, environments are cool.
I played with the Quest 2, everything works well.
I bought Naked Sun in a sale for 47 pence and was happy with my purchase.
Only thing I can pick at is the red dot in your crosshair is sometimes hard to see, because there's a lot of red in this game, but not enough to cry about.
Like a downtempo, seated version of Pistol Whip with nice graphics and surprisingly great animation. A casual, but fun game for when you're feeling lazy but still want to shoot androids and stuff. Can't complain about the price.
A shooting gallery that tried really hard, but did not pick up any speed.
The "stand in one place and shoot things" games are a dime a dozen for VR and this one just does not have anything to stand our from the crowd. The guns sound weak and give you sense of impact. All the music sounds like its going to pick up and rock, but it just fizzles out.
The entire thing feels like they had a cool idea, but toned it down, bleached it and watered it down.
So this is a very short game, completed in like 50 min, died once like everyone else. Fun game, quality gameplay and visuals, poor sound effects and music.
I purchased this on sale, and I think three dollars is a deal for this game. I'll probably use this as a fun game for guests to try VR with, or something similar. Nice and fun rail shooter, enjoyed playing while drunk.
Edit: I can confirm this is a great game to shove your guests into when they want to play VR but don't know what to play. You stand stationary and shoot at things, lower gun to reload, tap in on thumbstick (I assume trackpad for vive users?) to change between pistol/SMG, and lay down on that trigger and pretend you don't miss Time Crisis.

Very stylish shooter. I was pleased with the mechanics of shooting from both hands. The plot is certainly beaten, but served well. Robots, artificial intelligence, the last hope of humanity - it's always interesting. And in this case, you don't have to sit on the ass in front of the monitor, you can move. In general, I recommend it to the owners of virtual reality equipment.

Finished the game in 47 minutes. I died once because I just wasn't paying attention. Otherwise, it was a rather easy romp. This is literally an on-rails 180 degree wave shooter. Well, okay, in the last leg of the game you're on an elevator instead of on a rail, LOL. You only have one gun on each hand. You can go single-shot for accuracy or full auto for quick destruction.
Honestly, just go full auto as there is no reason to go single shot. After the first third of the game, the option of using a shield and rocket launcher opens up. Unfortunately, only the shield is useful at times when you're under fire. I seldom had to use the rocket launcher and in any event I had trouble locking in to targets most of the time. I would kill stuff faster by just going full auto.
You never run out of ammo. You reload by bringing your arms down. You can play the game seated. There are two boss fights. The second boss fight is just like the first, only they add flying drones to the mix. The visuals were just okay. Not bad, but nothing spectacular. The sounds were just okay. The destructible environment kills were fine, but again, nothing that made the game stand out.
Enemy AI was amost non-existent. Which is not necessary for a on-rails wave shooter, but at least script the events more interestingly. Enemies just ran to their spots so that you can kill them or so you can do environmental kills. I think there were 6-8 enemy types, really only 4 if you don't count shielded versus non-shielded. So you have the grunt soldiers, the heavy soldiers, the drones, and the boss (or it is mini-boss?).
There aren't many "on-rails" wave shooters in VR really. Lots of stand still ones or teleporting ones, but actual on rails there's only a few that I know of. There's Drop Dead which is from 2016 and is still miles better than this game. Empty Town is also about the same price and same length, but is so much better. Thirst, which is an amazing on-rails wave shooter and can usually be found very cheap on Steam which I strongly recommend you buy instead of this game. Even HordeZ, which I don't like, may be better than this. And Archangel, well, let's not mention that game. (I have not played Dexed yet, but I do own it and plan to review it soon).
Rate 4.5/10. Steam Reviews show once again you can't trust them. All these positive reviews. No, this game is way over-priced for what it offers. And it's rather mediocre. This should be a $5 game tops for less than 1 hour content (arcade mode doesn't count). And even then I'd only give a 5/10 or 5.5/10.
