Great game with nice mechanics, perfect for little sessions with friends !
A bit disappointed there is only 10 maps, after a 30 min session you already seen them all and it become a bit repetitive.
Hidden Gem of Local Multiplayer Games. Highly recommended, specially for 3-4 local players.
online works really well. takes effort to find players but if you do or have people to play local the game it worth it on that alone if you can find a good sale. movement is really fun. mechanics are great. customizing options are perfect. single player is fun. it is difficult to fully complete but makes you want to keep replying to improve. you can adjust your weapons firing if you need help.
the main cons i have are the game is short on content for its price, both single player maps and online mode.
online on pc should allow up to 8 players to connect , more options or a custom level maker to share levels with friends. other wise the online for this is great. Single player could use more missions. I dont see having much to complain about though if you find a good sale for this and have the friends to play with.

i think the game as a 7-8/10 for a game in this genre.
its a little easier / more casual to pick up and play than a game like duck game or towerfall but the single player still takes skill and time. good game to introduce new players to the genre

Nice game mechanics but definitely better enjoyed with friends, a must have if you like games like Towerfall.
Retimed is probably the most stupid fun game I have played in ages. Bullets slow you down and bullelts shot at each other bounce off each other, allowing for some fun strategies.
Great party game I played first on the switch, it is almost a tradition for us to play this game in a party environment. The twitch action gameplay coupled with the slow down mechanics and dashing allows for some really frantic and fun times. Grab a beer or several and don't run out of ammo
Received a special discount for this game and saw that it had 4 player local play, instantly bought! The game has a unique game play that mixes the beloved stick fight game with the Matrix! It is a blast to play and intense. The only thing I'd ask for is more content such as more maps, characters, etc. Overall a great couch game!
Great game, flawless multiplayer. Wish it had more content and match options, like Towerfall. Devs, give us more options!

Very nice! I was lucky playing it on a game convention and now it's out on Steam. I really enjoy this game and my friends too. But be aware of toxicity ^^
It is really cool to move like in Matrix when the bullets come to you and the mechanics are pretty good.

Cool little indie game for local multiplayer. The time bubble thing is a nice mechanic to give the game some edge.
# Bad thing
Singleplayer: Too generic & especially inconsistent physics: Some walls bullets pass through, some dont, for enemies it's different etc pp. Just feels tedious

Still would recommend Retimed to people who fancy local multiplayer with a twist
Its colorful, its fun, its amazing!
Rarely has feeling like Max Payne in Smash Bros felt so smooth. Seriously, cool game, very much worth having some rounds with friends. Highly recommended!
I already played retimed on the switch before, and it is just as much fun on PC. (If you have a controller).
There is now an additional single player, which is a bit short, but quite fun and helps a lot to improve! (You can see it as a kind of implicit tutorial)
Pros:
- Fun easy to grasp gameplay (I can play it with non gamers!)
- Which has still a lot of depth (and with my gamer friends!)
- Single player and online multiplayer (now allow it to play it even without (having) friends!)
- 9 Different levels (A lot of places to die!)
- Cute characters (You don't really want to kill )
- I really like the 2 vs 2 multiplayer mode (if you suck, your partner can win for you!)
Cons:
- Single player a bit short. (Its really fun, so its a bit sad, when it is over so soon).
- Controller pretty much needed (And you should learn to play with both thumbsticks, unless you like dieing.)
- Only 4 (cute) characters (I feel bad to just kill them over and over and over again^^)
Saw this game at several events and during development, watched a bit of gameplay and the dev's stream here on Steam.
On first startup, the controls and movement feel quite snappy. The aiming with the mouse seems a tad different than in similar games, so I had to get used to it. I think it is because you can't move your cursor too far away from the character, which makes aiming at long distances quite the challenge. Nonetheless I like how simple the controls are. At first I thought you'd have to somehow trigger the time bubbles, but it does so automatically when bullets get close to you.
There is a singleplayer mode where you kill waves of enemies. I used this for trying out the controls, but it seems like everything is about the multiplayer anyway.
Multiplayer itself is very fast paced. You can jump and run from one end of the map to the other in a matter of seconds, which I like. This makes for a skillful game of the basic "shoot the others while you dodge their stuff", plus, whenever someone is in danger, time slows in a bubble around them.
Looking forward to try it against friends locally.
Awesome multi-player game! I played the game at some events and I've also watched some really good players. The mechanics allow for skill based combat and there is very little luck involved.
This game is super fun. I played it at GDC a couple of years ago and I have been waiting for it release on Steam. I bought it right away and played for a hour with my girlfriend, who doesn't play games, and we had so much fun!! It's a great casual couch multiplayer. It creates a lot of super close to die moments that are hilarious!!! Congrats to the dev team!!
TL:DR:
Really nice fast paced multiplayer game to have some fun with friends or family. If you're friends don't have time, there's still a Singleplayer and Onlinemode to enjoy ;-)
A tad longer:
I own Retimed on the Switch and already got to play it at multiple Conventions too. Here are some opinions:
It's quite easy to learn, but if you match up against a really good player, u can also see quite a difference in skill level. There's always a possibility to improve, so if your on the more competitive side, lock in the Online Duel mode and go for it!
There's also a 4-Player mode online and you can play online with 2 people at the same pc.
If you see the booth at a convention, there are often kids playing. They often really enjoy it, so if you're looking for a game that you can play with your kids, this is a really good game (it's available on switch too)
As i mostly played it before, there was no real time to test the Single Player. Idea wise it's a great addition, and the part that was missing before (especially on the Switch). The first few Levels i played are fun, i only played easy mode though (can't hit those damn frogs...). Perhaps i can give a more in-depth Singleplayer review at a later stage.

I was lucky to play this game at a game convention already, and could now finally get my hands on it! If you value good arcade-y, frantic multiplayer games like Samurai Gunn, Towerfall or Nidhogg, then Retimed belongs right into your Steam Library.
I have to highlight how rare it is to experience crisp online multiplayer like this in indie titles, by the way! Feels fair and fast-paced. Very good experience so far.
It seems the game even has seasonal content - the title screen is currently winter-themed and I've been predominantly put into winter maps with icicles in them in online multiplayer (a coincidence?) - really nice touch!
Finally a quick game to play in the office after lunch! I adore the unique art style and hope there will be lots of additional levels over time. Oh and, Yowie, all the way!
If you enjoy intense arena shooters, this could be something for you!
Simple mechanics yet rather difficult to master. Fun game that supports local and online multiplayer. Great game if you're looking for something similar to Duck Game.
