Getting a little motion sick, but damn that hover bike feels awesome.
really physicality to it.
Not ideal if its your first VR game, but once you have some VR Legs you should grab this one!
These two comments were already posted by other reviewers, but I feel like they should be repeated:
Haptics rumbles 100% of the time that ur driving the bike. I could feel the battery draining from my controller.
The menus are narrated, so every 7 minutes you hear someone yell at you "UPGRADE BIKE! MAIN MENU! SELECT LEVEL!" and it gets old really quick.
My additions:
Where are the control options???
Where are the sound options??? This game is LOUD and i had to turn my headset volume waaay down via steam app because the game has no in-game volume controls.
Stupid fun game. Devs please fix these issues so that you can sell all the copies and be rich.
This game is an underrated gem in VR. One handed free roaming hover flight with a pistol in the other hand - you can turn, look behind, aim down sights. Never skips or lags. Buy it!
I'm surprised that this is as good as it is- from a two man team, no less. It needs more love from the community. Controlling the bike is the real highlight here, so satisfying- really well done. Strafing is really fun, but unfortunately it brings on motion sickness for me. I power through it though, because it's such a blast. And yes, the shooting part just adds to the fun.
It's unfortunate that the coder left the game for another company, as the game could uses more variety with locations and targets. The in-game re-centering option is broken for many, but I found that using SteamVR to re-center instead, works just fine.
Still, a must have for anyone who likes vehicular combat games.
Great fun. If a little repetitive. Bugged though. Unable to proceed past 2 hours in its current state.

one of of the best vr game
and personnally i have no motion sikness when i play on this game and without use the confort mode
this game is a wonder
Unfortunately, I had to return this game, but not because it wasn't fun. After only a short time of playing it, I started to get motion sick, and couldn't play it anymore. Despite that, I want to emphasize that this is a really good game. Gliding around an open area shooting enemies and targets in all directions was pretty exciting, and if I had a better headset, or could handle motion sickness better, I would be playing this non-stop. Just because I couldn't handle it doesn't mean you shouldn't try it if you're considering. Absolutely check this game out if you think it looks interesting, because I assure you, it is fun.
Uh the game is okay, but the SFX is just garbage really :s It ruined everything to me
Also, who came up with the idea to make voice over in the main menu? Why? Its really annoying, not that I know i'm in the main menu and selecting mission
Very cool!! I play VR a lot, this game is in one of my favorites! May be throwing grenades would be cool too. Very cool graphic and control!
Ive given this game multiple-play sessions to see if I could adjust , but out of all the games I've tried (Aside from a roller-coaster sim) motion-sickness really took its toll on me for this one.
The design, gameplay, and controls are solid! And I even was enjoying myself for a short while zipping around the map, driving and shooting and getting a real hang for it, but every time, about several minutes in, even with the 'comfort-blinders' turned on, motion sickness would rear its ugly head and I would have to stop playing for a good 10-20 mins to not have nasty burps churning my gut.
I WANTED to like this game, but even after trying standing up, sitting down, and varying settings, the dizziness and neausea overpowered what fun this game has.
If you're not prone to motion-sickness (And im NOT) you can take a chance, but for the most part, you're not missing out on a "must-have" game.
Game is Okay, requires more processing power than some which can make for some choppy gameplay, I upgraded my graphics card to make it work better (among other games) I will say the most annoying thing for me is the recentering doesn't work. sometimes the seated position isn't exactly where the bike is set up and I can't ever seem to get the positioning correct. I wish it was easier.
I've played through the tutorial and some of the levels and the textures are great, but I feel like some sort of "quick tips" while playing the game as a reminder would be helpful because sometimes you forget what is available to you. The nausea is pretty low for this game, but can be present for some. the bike feels agile and I could enjoy just exploring and messing around with a target practice mode. I'd recommend the game, but it could use some streamlining compared to other games in it's price range.
Great arcade style game. There are still a few bugs, and it feels somewhat like a beta (there are only 8 missions), but I got this on sale and I thnk this is worth a sale price (it was $10 - $15 bucks). Performance can be improved. Overall though no regrets in purchasing this.
Ok ok I gave in! I've been following this game for a while, but held back on purchasing because it didn't officially support Windows Mixed Reality. I finally bought this game because the devs reached out to me admitting that it works pretty well with Windows Mixed Reality. So I bought it, and to be honest, it works great with WMR!!! The graphics are really good. The world has a very "wide open" feel to it. The controls are solid. It really feels like you are sitting in the cockpit of this hover-bike. I am excited to play more! I recommend if you are into flying fast and shooting things on the go.
Awesome game! Rujns great and looks great in my Samsung Odyssey headset. The gameplay is very intuitive and controlling the hover bike with the motion controllers works perfectly. Extremely good arcade game! It is a very fast paced game, I don't get sick from movement in VR games and this one didn't bother me either. You can move in all directions very quickly though so those people who are suceptible to VR sickness may be affected. Well worth trying to see for yourself though, because if you don't get motion sick from it then you would be in for a hell of a good time!
Holy shit, how did I miss this game? This is BY FAR the most fun I've had in a game for a while. I don't know wtf everyone is saying about getting dizzy, I had no such experience.
The feeling of driving these hover bikes is badass, then shooting while you speed through the open world. Seriously this could be one of the greatest games ever if they added multiplayer. Anyone who likes controlling a vehicle with a virtual joystick, this game is for YOU. Don't think just buy, seriously 10/10.
Bought this game last year from the Oculus Store, but returned due to severe motion sickness. Really enjoyed the game, even though I only spent 40 minutes in it before getting nauseous. Decided to give it any go during the current Steam sale. So glad that I did! With comfort mode turned on, I have absolutely no motion sickness at all. It's a great game, and worth even the full price. I strongly recommend people who got sick the first time give this game a second chance. Maybe eventually, you can even turn off the comfort mode for more realism. Looking forward for more missions and the arcade update. Kudos to the developer for this gem!
A lot of fun to play, amazing graphics, and one of my best vr experiences besides porn! However as far as I can see there's only eight missions which I beat, there's one environment, and one bike. As much fun as I had playing this I wish there was more. This has less content than Virtua Racing. Also multiplayer would be nice. No wait multiplayer would be orgasmic!!!! Like VR porn!!!! Oh and the game did make me feel a little sick after playing a few missions. I had to play one mission and then take a break. Oh and don't play this on an empty stomach. Unless you wanna meet Ralph!!!
Early first impressions here:
Pros:
-Cool. Very cool. I feel like a Starcraft Vulture biker. Controlling the bike is easier than expected, and firing the weapons on the move is intuitive.
-Customization. You can set the height and depth of the bike, which is rendered down to its seat. Very immersive.
-Great voice acting.
Cons:
-So far none really. I'm really amped to get more play time in.
This game comes with a few "pros" and "cons". Let me start witht the pros....
Pros: If you can get past level 3, you will no longer get motion sickness (it happens in a lot of games). Its a lot of fun to " fly" a motorcycle. The narrator has a heavy scottish accent which never gets old.
Cons: Framerate can be choppy at times (a lot like Vector 36) there is also terrain popup which cannot be turned off. Make sure to do this old trick of going into the desktop and clicking on the lower right hand toolbar switch that minimizes EVERYTHING (instant VR smoothness) . If you play for roughly 2 hours straight, you will get sick no matter what.
The End.
WOW!! What a game!!.....I have owned Vive for over a year and have tried close to 300 titles with family sharing...so I am not easily impressed...
When the game starts and you are sitting in your hover bike you will be amazed at the scenery surrounding you...Usually scenary this good will have you on rails but instead you have complete freedom of movement......the 2D screen shot or the youtube video will NOT do justice....you got to experience it in VR.... Played for 40 minutes straight no motion sickness at all...graphic is beautiful and runs smoothly on my i7-6700K 32GB GTX1080 machine..
Whats amazing is that it takes full advantage of VR and action surrounds you 360degrees and you have to turn around behind and shoot enemies over your shoulder...
The hover bike base launch is really cool...you can stand out of the bike and view your machine..
It was a very enjoyable Universal Studios type experience with decent admission price tag .
I highy recommend it..
