The developers are looking back on more than fourteen years of know-how and experience gained from live appearances and the creation of so-called 3D real-time demos under the Demo and VJ-label einklang[dot]net, which has become nationally and internationally renowned.
VJmachine comes with more than hundred 3D real-time scenarios and styles, all video effects and full automatic synchronization to any kind of music. In combination with your custom video and picture content you create a unique experience for every event. Simply connect your PC/Notebook to any sound source as well as to one or several projectors, displays or LED walls and VJmachine will create a symbiosis of image and sound.
To celebrate with your friends and family you can integrate your own videos & pictures as logo, flyers or slideshows such as party images of your friends or family celebration movies. Live video integration is as well possible.
Musicians and creatives can create their own music videos with just a few clicks, for example for YouTube or other video portals.
USER INTERFACE
VJmachine comes with a user-friendly and intuitive interface. The guiding design principle was: all functions are always displayed at the same position on the monitor and are accessible with two klicks/touches, whereby the system status always remains within visual range.
Apart from basic operating elements such as 3d scenario and video selection, the user is provided with elaborate visual functions and effects with which the animations can be influenced live. Via Auto FX the VJmachine automatically uses all effects in sync to the music.
Slideshow, Logo and Flyer function animate pictures of your friends, family or the party crowd fully automatically to the music.
VIDEOS
You can integrate your own videos in different ways into animations. All standard formats (avi, mov and mp4) are supported. No limits are set on creativity, regardless of whether it's VJ videos, party videos or advertising videos. Just press the Movie button, select a directory with your videos and take the ones you want to be integrate in the visualization. VJmachine fully automatically takes care about the synchronization to the music.
PICTURES
Logos, Flyers and Slideshow are three different ways to integrate pictures. No time-consuming content preparation or conversion is required beforehand. Just choose one of the options Logos, Flyers or Slideshow, select a directory with your pictures (jpg, bmp, png, pic) and press Active. You can easily integrate photos from your friends and family, previous events/parties or logos in real time into the animations. VJmachine automatically scale them to correct sizes and cool styles in sync to the music.
Logos and Flyers are not configurable in the Demo Version instead the VJmachine logo is regularly shown, please buy the full version of VJmachine to use own pictures for logos and flyers.
DMX AND MIDI MIXER
For professional or advances use cases also DMX or Midi controle is supported. The DMX or MIDI mixer not only controls basic features such as brightness and color adjustment, but also many other effects such as stroboscope, kaleidoscope, complex light shows and programs. Simply connect your MIDI or DMX controller into a USB port and configure it under CONFIG à MIDI or DMX. For DMX an Enttec DMX USB Pro adapter is required.

You know a program is a hot mess when they have to advertise their product in game... That's right every few seconds the developer thought "Hey you bought my product now here is more ads for the product you just bought" I don't care if you can shut them off. They should not be there in the first place.
The UI is absolute crap , For some reason the dev instead of using listening to the output for your speakers only allows for recording devices to be used. Funny thing is everything for the mic was too quiet unless the speaker was directly on the mic. EVERY other program I own that does visualizers figured out a long time ago USE SPEAKER OUTPUT. Half of the settings seem to do nothing. Stay away this is hot garbage.
A comprehensive program, although unfortunately has some setbacks.
Runs poorly on my computer with a decent graphics card and the GUI being really confusing to operate and use.
Further support on integrating audio from the computer itself would be nice (I know there is a tutorial available but even that has its low-level requirements that many may not meet)
Still no update to fix the fact that it wont open if you have multiple video adapters. What sorta VJ software does that? Have asked and heard nothing, truly wasted of $50
Best audio visualizer ever! Full complex animations, videos, pictures... you can tweak everything or just let the software display fantastic visuals synchronized to your music.
I mostly use it on 3 screens, with my DJ controller plugged into the PC and it changes everything!
Great job from the developpers! I hope that updates with new visuals will still be published in the future (even if the software is already stuffed with a lot of them).
doesn't work properly can't get it work with my dj programs i wish i could get a refund .
I spend more time turning things off than actually trying to do anything else. Trying to do anything is frustratiing, at best. You are presented with something that is little to no fun to use. There are plenty of slightly more fun things to spend this much money on. I would recommend picking one of those.
Does not sample your music from any source other then microphone. Waste of money. No response to questions from software maker. Do not waste your money on this.

I wish it had a more scenes or a way to customize them. What I would like is to be able to import more GLSL shaders from Shadertoys or something. This is still fantastic though. What's nice is that you can add in your own VJ clips by just changing the content folders, although I'm disappointed it doesn't have dxv codec support, that's totally understandable at the same time. Just regular mp4/mov files here. While the BPM detection is actually really fantastic, I have also noticed it won't detect BPM below 110, which is disappointing if you work with hiphop at all.
While it's quite a far-cry from Resolume Arena 6, this has been working quite well on the smaller dance nights I do, as well as a backup to switch to if the main computer goes down.
If you are a VJ, then you should know and understand what this software actually is, and you should appreciate how easy it can make your job. Ideally this isn't used as a replacement for your main rig/show/software, but rather just something to run on a smaller laptop if your main rig goes down.
I absolutely recommend you pick this up if you're a VJ.
Wow....I am surprised there is not more reviews of VJ Machine. And to be honest its hard to get a review out of me in the first place. Unless of course it deserves it. Well...VJ Machine deserves it.
This stuff is mind blowing. In the past I have spent countless hours making VJ style music videos for my DJ mixes. And could not really afford the other software that does it...but even that software does not compare to VJ Machine. It does an excellent job at somehow magically mixing videos and effects. It runs perfectly smooth. Easy to use. There may be a few cons with the GUI but it is negotiable and can probably be addressed with future updates.
This is definitely the software a DJ wants and needs. It really is fantastic. It has meet my expectations and even surpassed them. I look forward to seeing how this software grows....I highly recommend it. If your a DJ, broadcast DJ or VJ you are going to LOVE VJ Machine. This is it folks...it works and has excellent quality output. And packed with features.

GUI for menu needs to have a windowed option instead of full screen only.

the product is super good at what it does from what ive seen, but it just wasnt what i thought it was, i haven't read the description carefully!
i highly recommend buying this if you're looking for a plug and play music visualizer.
