Nova Flow is a first person, speed running platformer built upon finding a balance in the rhythmic mechanics of the game. Making it from start to finish in the best time possible is your aim; your weapon of manipulation, your instinctive reflexes and a dash of ingenuity are key to obtaining top spot. Nova Flow’s simple movement system is coupled with more complex interactions as you progress. These interactions marry together to give the player a rapid and smooth-flowing experience as you traverse a large variety of levels designed to measure your skills and put you to the test as you attempt to best the rest.
As you jump, run, and shoot your Nova Cannon you'll find additional ways to interact with your surroundings and the challenges that confront you. Laser obstacles, strange switch targets and gates to pass through will put you in a spin as you try to find the fastest way through the game's levels.
Speed, Bounce, and Wall-run your way through the world. As you go, you'll encounter more obstacles and mechanics.
Get creative with your runs, as you tackle the Standard, Random, and Custom modes. Repeat your runs for the best time.
It wouldn't be a speedrunner without leaderboards! Track your best against ours to acheive a medal; Bronze, Silver, Gold, and our coveted Dev times. Compare your times against others too in our online leaderboards!
An intense score accompanies the gameplay. The up-tempo music sets the rhythm as you run and jump through the game.

Wrecked Angle Studios is an indie games studio based in Melbourne, Australia. “Nova Flow” is the company’s debut title, and has been developed to stand as an entry-point to the game's core genre; Speedrunning. Worked flawlessly on Manjaro Linux...
Man I can't believe this game got so little attention, it just feels excellent all the way through.
If you're reading reviews for this just stop now and buy it.
This is a game unlike anything I've ever played. It starts out simple, just with shooting various colors on platforms and walls, no big deal. But as you get further and further into the game it introduces new elements and eventually the mental stack is really high and complex. That is however the fun part, to be able to not get tangled up in your own thoughts and properly shoot the platforms, the cubes, the lasers, etc. It's truly a unique game and I hope more people can try it out!

Super chill game where movement is fun and feels good, and the soundtrack complements the experience well. It's not a long game, but a lot of fun.

Good game, just have to be fast on the mouse controls and be spot on with the timing.
graphics looks great and the music is not so hyped where you can play this game and be relaxed anywhere in the room even if playing it with a mouse or with a controller.
This game is really something special. If I was to relate this to another game I'd probably say something like DeadCore. Nova Flow is a 3D First Person fast paced platformer where you use a gun with 3 colors to traverse the levels. Each color can be shot on the floor or walls of the surrounding platforms to increase your speed, allow you to jump, or to wallrun. It gets pretty hard near the end but it's quite a ride! Casually it took me a little under 3 hours. There's harder bonus levels and a speedrun mode. What's not to love? (It's also a pretty fun speedrun!)

This is an excellent overall game. The concept and completion of the game isn't difficult, but the mastery is beautifully crafted. How and when you jump, land, hitting the right keys and the reaction time with trying to speedrun this game is unlike almost any other game made to date. Closest comparison would be Dead Core, another game i love to speedrun. The world needs more games like these!!!

A fun distraction! Great premise, and feels nice to play through the levels.
The game isn't that good. I am a fan of 3D indie platformers, but this one is... a little on the bad side. The difficulty of the game is extremely easy and had very little trouble beating the game under 2 hours. Which $7 for 2 hours isn't that good. I have more hours logged due to replaying the game a few times. The parts that are difficult are very cheap deaths. Most of your deaths will be because of some mechanic that had to be done at the last second. Difficulty shouldn't come from challenging the player's mechanics or pulling a cheap "we are going to move this platform in front of you when you shoot the red ball... so that you get hit LOL!" Actual innovative gameplay would be nice. The bounce, speed, and climb mechanic isn't revolutionary and I get that. What I don't get is how you utilize it. The platforming could be so much more creative, but it isn't.

Really taught me the best way to hold my controller. Good game, have to think incredibly fast with a very charming atmosphere alongside a good and fitting soundtrack.
In spite of its severe lack of bees, Nova Flow delivers strongly in all other aspects.
Thrown straight into the action with just enough tutorial direction to get you started, the gameplay allows for multiple approaches to each level, ranging from straightforward to absolutely bizarre.
The difficulty and level design feel consistently fair, with some large, but entirely overcomable difficulty spikes in the later levels that bring a sense of pride and accomplishment not seen since EA's Star Wars Battlefront II.
The music fits the fast-paced neon retro theme of the game perfectly, with some of the tracks being more than catchy enough to be stuck in your head all day.
Great game, especially for the tiny price tag.
10/10 would go fast again.
