Little hidden city is a little funny hidden objects game with a 3D map with few levels. It's a low price and I recommend it!!! 💗
Some items are challenging to find.
This can take a while to complete as some of the objects are either small or well hidden.
There are 6 different areas to explore.
I enjoyed playing but it may need a replay as there's a bug that jumps an area.
Other players have also experienced this. The effected area varies.
It has been reported on the forum.
ok as a cheap time-filler game.
It's not a good game. It looks a lot like something made simply to provide cheap and easy achievements. While some of the puzzles had potentional, the controls were so inaccurate that it didn't actually matter much where you clicked most of the time, the game would just accept it and cheer you on. It's not fun, and it's not well made.
Another one of these? No, it's actually a little more intruiging!

How is everyone giving this game positive feedback? Items are literally hidden in such a way that they are obscured, the clues are black and white outlines making it hard to discern what you should be looking for and there are multiples of the same item on the screen, so you have to click them all to find the one they want you to click. As a HOG it fails miserably and as a game its more tedious than fun.
Also why does every item have Achievements? Its not necessary.
Little hidden city is a game where you must observe the map and seek the objects that are hidden! There are seven different levels with one being a bonus map. All the achievements can be completed in less than an hour which makes this an easy game to perfect. Rate 5/10 (Neutral) based on length, difficulty and replay value. A majority of objects can be found without too much effort. There were a few objects that were hidden behind movable doors, windows or trunks. The maps are decently detailed, but also bland and lack variety or scenery to the environment. There is a lot of open space for a hidden objects type game.
Cheap hidden object game
This game looks like an attempt to cash in on the success of Hidden Folks, but it's worse than that in every respect. It's much smaller, the artworks are worse (the store banner is misleading, it's cheaply 3D modeled throughout), the levels are mostly empty and not as fun, it doesn't save anything except which levels you have completed, it runs in the browser, and it would not allow me to progress past level 5 to the last level even though I did find everything. On top of that, it's an achievement spam game, with 100+ achievements.
Buy Hidden Folks instead, that game is a joy to play; this game isn't and doesn't compare.
Here is my review on the game:
Pros
- For what you pay for it (I payed 39 cents) it's okay
- The visuals are nice
Cons
- The visuals were already nice, but the lego dolls kinda ruined it for me
- Its buggy, I can't click on level 2 (and that's just one bug)
- The concept is nice, but it's not a game I would play several times
Not very clear what you have to look for, annoying background sounds and weird animation. Also progress resets if you leave the level. Better play Hidden Folks if you're looking for a Hidden Object game.
This is the worst piece of software I’ve came across in years and I would recommend you not to be fooled by it’s price tag. Here’s why:
Before I start, I would like to mention that it is not my intention to flex on anyone or brag about my “personal skills”. Every adult has their own set of skills required by their occupation and I am well aware of that, so please keep that in mind while you’re reading my next words.
I work as an interpreter and I can speak three different languages fluently. Yet, amongst those languages I fail to find a word that could describe how horrible, hideous, boring and on the verge of utterly disgusting this game is. I am frustrated because it makes me feel like I’m failing at my job.
This game is nothing but a cluster of free 3D assets thrown together with haste in hopes of riding the success of Hidden Folks. I mean, I don’t think I need to talk about the intentions of the developers when even the name and the thumbnail for Little Hidden City is oddly resembling Hidden Folks. Now I know, at first it might not sound fair to compare this game with Hidden Folks since this one is approximately three and a half times cheaper. But I’d like you to realise that it also has twenty levels less than Hidden Folks. And since they are from the same genre, I think it is completely fair to compare the two.
In this “insult to game developers of the world” there are six levels in total and it takes less than an hour to complete the whole thing. The levels start mediocre and they get worse and worse as you progress. I’ll be honest, some of the items were actually quite well hidden in the first level. But after you’re through with the first half of the game, so called “hidden” objects start to look so out of the place in the vast yet almost empty maps that you can find every single one of them without even checking the hidden items list. Oh, the hidden items list… I’ll come to that later. In Hidden Folks the maps were not only getting bigger but they were getting more and more crowded in the later levels of the game, which made it an absolute joy to play it for longer periods of time. Apart from that, the sound design and character animations were so pleasing that it never made me want to turn the game volume down which I usually do with these type of games. On Little Hidden City, however, every map is hosting these horrendous lego and roblox hybrid characters that move at a speed where it’s hard to tell if they wanted to make them look like stop motion animations or the game is just optimized badly. The sound design is just… I don’t feel right calling it sound design. It’s just a bundled mess of repetitive and badly recorded voices, uneven and unnatural nature sounds, car honks and the inescapable curse of the beeping sound while a bus or a truck make when they are going in reverse. The only plus side is that since your ears start bleeding and you lose 98% of your hearing ability by the time you hit the fifth level, things get nice and quiet for the rest of your life.
Let’s talk about the hidden objects lists, shall we? It is the ugliest piece of garbage made with the least amount of effort that cannot even manage to retain a coherent theme. It’s the epitome of the reason why you should plan beforehand and act on it if you want to make these type of things look pleasing to the eye in the slightest. The game shows you which items to look for on the right side of your screen. Most of the time they are just colorless versions of the objects, sometimes they are just black silhouettes and at times they are just a mere outline. Now, each of these styles would’ve been just perfect if they were consistent throughout the game. There are times you get three different styles on the same list. JUST. PICK. ONE. For the sake of whatever entity you’re sacrificing the earnings from this game to! It’s driving my OCPD crazy. It is an eyesore. I hate it.
Yes, the game’s price tag is less than a dollar during the discount periods, but I can list you a ton of stuff that is more fun to do than playing this game for that little amount of money. For example, you can go and buy a blank piece of paper and stare at it for half an hour. It’ll probably be more memorable than this steaming pile of garbage. I probably spent more time writing this review than the developers making this steam-clickbait.
Oh! Before I forget! Did you know that this game has a whopping total of 101 achievements?! Crazy, right? It’s like the developers knew from the beginning that nothing else would make people buy their excuse of a rip off game other than a pat on the back for each item you find in your playthrough! It’s a running theme to fill a game to the brim with mindless achievement grinds lately. If that’s what you’re looking for, more power to you of course. It at least gives somewhat of a value to the game for some folks. Then again, I think you can find achievement grinders that are cheaper and more fun than this… this… Ugh, I don’t even know how to address this thing anymore.
Please… For the love of everything you hold dear. Do not buy or promote the purchase of games like these. Go buy a piece of candy for that money. You’ll be happier. Trust me. If you still want to try this game for some reason that I'll never be able to percieve, try watching the video on it's store page first. It shows half of the game anyways.
I do not usually play hidden objects games but when I saw the store page of Little hidden city I decided I'd purchase it immediately. The LEGO doll waving from his apartment seemed very convincing.
The game sports (only) 6 different locations where you have to look for different (well-hidden) objects. The maps are gradually getting bigger while our list of items simply multiplies.
I particularly liked how some bigger items in the world can be interacted with. For instance, the shed can be opened in the backyard to reveal the item we need. Same goes for drawers in the apartment and the cars' trunk in the parking lot.
It is a neat little game; great pastime with only one downside: there are only half a dozen levels. Not using a guide can make you play it as long as an hour.
I disliked this game so much that I finished it out of spite, just so I could write a review knowing that I'd seen everything the game had to offer.
Don't buy it. Your money and your time are more precious than anything this game will ever offer you.
The UI isn't merely unpolished, it's badly designed in almost every way I can imagine. The ceaseless, looping sound scheme grates on your ears and ruins your concentration. The graphical assets look like they fell off a truck. The graphics in general are pathetic: Mismatched textures with obvious join lines, drab colors that suck the life out of the game world, repetitions that simply tire your eyes rather than serving as clever camouflage, and vast empty areas with nothing but a green rash that's probably supposed to look like grass.
Then there's the game itself. Wow. I've played plenty of hidden-object games. There'll always be some repetition of items. There'll often be a seemingly random bundle of items whose only purpose is to hide what you're looking for. But you accept that; you know what you're in for. Maybe that repetition will be done cleverly enough that it takes you a while to realize one item seems a little different. Maybe that random bundle of items will be so well-themed around what you're looking for that it'll heighten the sense of time and place in the entire scene.
Or maybe it'll be like this game, where your first task is to find a badly-drawn hat (or some circular object; you get no hints at any stage) in the apartment of someone who looks suspiciously like a LEGO figure, and you notice that attached to random parts of the scenery are at least five or six different-looking hats, and you start to wonder who's crazier: This jerkily twitching LEGO knockoff who hoards hats, or you for playing this rotten mess of a game.
It looks like my favourite Hidden Folks but it's a trap.
This game is way worse, it feels unfinished, unpolished and it's surprisingly buggy. It doesn't save your progress if you leave in the middle of a level; either finish the level or start over. If you accidentally click New in the main menu, you lose all your progress in the game. Achievements names... just look at them. Also, sometimes there are multiple identical objects in the scene but the game accepts only one of them.
It's not the worst hidden-object game I've ever played but it's far from getting my recommendation.
Time killer with advertising Russian brands.
+ for the last level.
- for fast game passing.
Developers! Add levels like 5th and 6th! At now - gameplay is less than 2h and we have a time to get money back :)
At a discount - norm.
The scenes are detailed quite well, models are great.
But something just seems so unfinished about this game;
You have an achievement for every item you find, which just seems like a last-ditch-effort to try and bring in players. Fairly certain I saw that most of the achievements are incredibly mis-named too, which again, just seems sorta half-assed; getting one of the crate items led to "Drawer" achievement, etc.
I don't understand the usage or need of the weird minifigure hybrids, they just seem randomly pasted in, weird, don't serve much purpose and seem incredibly out of place.
There's just something incredibly vital missing from this game, I don't know what it is that's missing, but it just doesn't feel like its finished, or even finished properly.
The only thing I can really say that's good about this, is the use of it's models, and the maps.
Other than that, there's really nothing much else to say about it, it's just missing a lot (in my opinion).
It's ok. It's 6 main hidden object scenes and a couple of bonus scenes. The 1 achievement per object found is overkill and kills the fun of getting achievements.
There's only one item out off 100ish that I thought was unfair - the watering can in the greenhouse (in screenshot no'3 on the store page). And I spent ages looking for an item that I had already found because it was black and white and the game doesn't tell you when the level is complete DOH!
Worth the 60ish cents that I paid for it. Recommended at that price. It seems like the game has been bug fixed now, I didn't encounter any bugs. Looks like I spoke too soon, other people still encountering bugs, although non-game breaking.
A detail rich miniature world
Game seems to be a remake of a predeccesor of all hidden object games. You'll have to find real-life rendered objects on insanely hi-res maps. Even on the first stage (appartment) you can zoom in to 400% watching this quite LEGO look a like animated figures. The items on map are semi interactable like an useable vendor machine, cupboard drawers or doors of cars and buildings which you can open. So you can have some fun for over a hour finding the almost 100 hidden object on 6 different stages.
Title screen promise some clone of Hidden Folks. But inside we see fast made empty world filled with stock rendered 3d objects. Some looks like from home style, some like from city projects, some are just lego's (I wonder if all of them are legally used for commercial game).
Process is no rewarding, no punishing. No clues other then wireframe of objects to find. Sometimes you cant understand what you looking for. Like just rectangle it could be anything: paper, book, window. With some objects its hard to understand if object is already found.
Game also has tons of other small glitches this UI, with non-accurate textures stich, that annoying beep noise on car crash level, inconcistensy of style. But all of them means nothing to the main problem. It's boring...
If you're making clone, make it at least not worse. Not worth to spend time. Finished it in 40 min just to make sure I'm not missing anything. No, no surprises in the end. Like I said boring. Will refund
Wow, this is bad. I mean, wow. I'm shocked. Scrolling is super slow, and only works sometimes. You have to zoom in and out a couple of times before the scroll works again. Mouse zoom does not zoom to the cursor but instead to the last place you were zoomed to, meaning a tedious, SSSSLLLOOOWWW fiddling just to look around. I can only guess that this annoyance is to extend the gameplay, because otherwise the objects would be found too quickly. Levels are very small and only have a few objects. (At least for the three levels I managed to endure). Only the interface prevents you from finishing the whole game in 20 minutes. But on the bright side, there's a poorly formatted achievement for EVERY object you find.
And what's with the goofy Lego figures?
Hidden Folks is hundreds of times better than this game.
Little Hidden City
Is a well made hidden object game.
Consists of 6 levels where you must find specific items.
The level of difficulty increases as the locations get bigger and you have to find more items.
Also for achievements hunters
Music is relaxing, graphics are fine.
In the sale no mistake.
Have fun searching.
it seems more like "little hidden ikea promotion"...? the first location is like walking through an ikea store... it uses 1:1 copies of ikea furniture...? i don't want to see such a thing in a game, i mean, there's already enough of this kind of brainwash in the world.
and why does the cover image imitate the visual style of Hidden Folks? this game here doesn't look like its cover at all anyway so it seems like false advertising + just blatant copying. the trading cards illustrations seem to be highly "inspired" by Hidden Folks aswell without even mentioning Hidden Folks at any point.
i don't like this.
I liked the idea of this game. It's a different kind of hidden-object. Loved the level details and that you can interact with the environment, even if it's limited to opening drawers and trunks and doors.
It's 'short' with 6 levels and 95 objects to find. The price is perfectly fine with the game length.
The game works just fine. You can finish all levels, find all objects and get all achievements.
My only problem was that you can't move the screen when not in zoom and that the screen moves too slow when in zoon. So much so that you get frustrated and annoyed. Sometimes it wouldn't move at all despite being in zoom mode. By the end of level 6 I was pissed off and started to hate the game a little bit.
Would also be nice if you could zoom in more, specially in the last level.
Do hope they fix the screen movement for the next players. The game is worth it.
7/10
