This is not bad, the art is very high quality. I'll update this when I finish this.
Deeply disappointing.
The story plods along.
Characters' actions, motivations, and relationships are left vague to the point of frustration.
Skip mode still takes its sweet time to type out every piece of dialogue, and scrolling up after a choice does not allow you to choose again. Be prepared with save games, or press F while scrolling back when a choice comes up, if you were in skip mode.
End of the game leaves everything to be desired. It's not even melancholic in a way that would leave you thinking fondly about it later, it's just dumb. Buy on sale, IF you have some kind of deep and unfulfilled desire to see several scenes of a light blush, or a maid girl fetish.
So this sequel to Elisa the Innkeeper has a new protagonist showing up to try and woo Elisa. Only this time, it is a playboy who simply wants to screw anything female and mess anything up. Not much of a story.
one of 3 games in this series, all worth reading, loved all of them, short and sweet. one is free the others you pay for.
The game will make the player face some decisions, and by directly controlling his character’s dialogues he will unlock specific reactions.
everything you say will effect someone differently, you can date/kiss whoever you want.
Art is gorgeous, story is okayish.
I was forced to drop the game after third creepy assault scene. Since there seems to be no way evading this stuff, and I kinda don't want to associate myself with such a protagonist - buh bye.
I'd refund it, but 2 weeks had passed already >_>
The english translation could use a better localizer to be honest. a good few times the wording felt off. the MC felt like a pretty creepy dude at times like the kind you don't want to see irl. The art excellent for the most part. just a few scenes i think could have used more color mainly the countryside one felt bland(more flowers preferably). I enjoyed the girls this is just after my first playthrough where i got rebecca and caterina. if you can stomache Alfonso's ceepiness and just downright predatory attitude and date some anime babes go for it. I did enjoy despite it's flaws. but to the devs please get a better localizer for your content maybe spend a little more time in the story writing room and i think with your visuals you could really hit it out of the park if you fixed a few of your writing mistakes and the MCs attitude.
12/10 One of the best visual novels in the steam interesting characters beautiful drawing good OST is Absolutely worth your money I recommend !!!!
You play a sexual predator who assault women with a romantic background music.
Furthermore, they say "no" multiple times, btw. This is already a big problem. The dev don´t know the difference between seducing and r*pe!?
The characters are dull. The story is 90% of fillers. It is boring as fk. The music is not always appropriate and never change its tone.
Very poorly written, not entertaining, not funny, not seducing. The whole atmosphere is not even good enough (not convincing nor seducing) to make the sexual draws even enjoyable. Everything feels awkward and artificial.
I was disappointed by the previous game ("Elisa the innkeeper") because nothing happened at all (just fillers and desperate guy who wants to ""seduce"" but got nothing). But here, it is even worse: it is fillers plus sexual assault.
Plus many small technical mistakes here and here:
_the translation spelling is often wrong and badly written (in french);
_the text describe something while it is different on the picture (example: they say they use a stove to cook, and the picture show a fire with a pot on it. So that´s disturbing when Elisa orders to low the temperature while we see a fire!);
_plus historical mistakes: the r*pist-protagonist wears a shirt and a tie on the text description, and they use a stove while the story takes place in the 18 century;
_The auto-reader of the text doesn´t work well: sometimes it is way too fast and cuts sentences, sometimes it is super slow and even stops itself.
Then I don´t think I can finish the game, I start to feel sick of it...
The MC is a downright creep, and basically the game gives you an option to assault a poor girl, who is clearly disturbed by his behavior. That and it's a pretty subpar game all around.
Elisa: Seduce the Innkeeper is a dating sim visual novel vaguely inspired by the famous italian masterpice "La Locandiera" written by Carlo Goldoni. The points I personally appreciated the most are character definition and the "statistics" logic behind. You will not get a meaningful ending unless you deeply understand the characters.

TLDR: Brainless story in which all the girls chase you and you end up with the girl you want by complimenting her and rejecting the other ones. Short lived and forgettable. Some crude dialogue.
More like a variant to Elisa: The inkeeper for those more inclined for H content. To get nudity you must get the game though another suite as the devs remove patches to adhere to steam standards. Decent game but as with most H games, it's not really a challenge to get the hook ups with exception of the title character, and even then it's not really that difficult.
Very nice game. I like the art and the music is very chill and relaxing.
You can choose what girl you like to romance and you can unlock different endings.
it's a + for me.
best romantic novel game i ever play...
my simple review
i like about this game is....your goal is seduce elisa but some of the maids are
seducing YOU..in their ways like their attitude towards you is attracting differently
Fun game, worth it if you get it on sale at under 3.5USD, got mine for like 3 dollars so it was worth it to me, have yet to play the hentai version, but i definitely enjoyed the storyline. At 8.99USD its maybe a 4/10 for a review on price to content, anything greater than 50% off and it goes up to an 7.5-8 out of 10.
No I do not recommend this game at regular price.
Yes I recommend this game at 50% off or greater.
A great game. The Artwork is really good. The games has choices lead to different situations and has a very nice flowing story and music.
I'll sum this up in one phrase - disappointment galore.
Aside from pretty CGs (there aren't many of those, sadly) and a relaxing soundtrack, there's very little of substance here. The story is boring and the characters annoying.
Text speed is quite slow and skip mode, being only slightly faster itself, does little to help with this. Save system is terrible. You only get 4 slots and no way to rename your saves as the game automatically names them some random letter-number combination you'd see from your banking app's 2-factor authentication. I often lost track of which saves were at what point because of this.
And... regarding story, I don't even know what to call this. I've seen a few label this as dating sim, but I don't think the protagonist is capable of comprehending the emotional attachment & endearment that is love. He's a typical noble with ego the size of a castle, constantly acts like a d-bag without a hint of remorse for his d-baggery, has no respect for women (or anybody for that matter), tries and forces himself on them every chance he gets, at one point even a married woman. So IMHO, this is what we'd call a doosebag simulator. No, really. The promise of "your decision shapes the personality of the MC" is simply not true. You can force him to pose as a gentleman for a good part of the game and he'll still revert back to being an ars the first chance he gets. Makes reading his cringeworthy monologues all the more annoying. The lack of chararcter development & coherence in his thoughts is quite off-putting.
I'll summarize the plot as: the MC goes on a 2 weeks vacation on Florence, starts thinking with his rod every time he sees a beautiful woman, tries to have one-night stands and depending on player choices, succeeds to reel one or two girl in, then returns home satisfied and ever more pompous.
I bought this and its prequel after I tried out the demo for the first game. I was quite impressed with the art, soundtrack and whatever little content I got out of the demo and was hopeful, but it's been really disappointing. I can enjoy bland art and generic tracks as long as there's a well presented story and a strong cast, but apparently, these are too much to expect from this game. It still retains all of the annoyances of its predecessor.
So this sequel to Elisa the Innkeeper has a new protagonist showing up to try and woo Elisa. Only this time, it is a playboy cad who simply wants to screw anything female and mess anything up... However, if you make the right choices, he... may have a change of heart...
There are five girls in the game, but the endings (at least the ones that trigger the achievements) leave only three as choices, one ending having two, the other... being a possible eventual love thing. Along the way, if you treat them right, you can end up having a bit of "fun" with one or two others...
Now, there is a free patch to add some content. Thing is, it actually is a different version, that you can switch back and forth between on the front page. And only the Steam version unlocks the achievements.
I played this game four different times to get every achievment and outcome. Needless to say it was cute fun and pretty entertaining. Unlike most Visual Novels you have more than one decision to make, there are choices from start to finish. I highly recommend for you to pick up, because it does seem to go on sale frequntly. 10/10 ign
Cute, and a fairly good story + writing in comparison to many other visual novels of its kind. The main protagonist (whom you play as) is quite the douchebag, but apparently gets away with it thanks to the time he's living in.
I've had a lot of crashes so far, but hope that the creators can sort it out in time.
Overall a nice catch, especially if you get it on a discount.
Below the dashes was written earlier. I've now played more of this, as well as other visual novels. The pace of this one is extremely slow, with a text speed that won't adjust (though the setting is there, it seems to do nothing). Additionally, each scene lasts for many more lines of dialogue than I am used to, and the autoplay and skip are both still moving at the text display speed, just without having to click to move to the next. The adult patch does work after I installed it correctly (I had the wrong folder originally, but that was my fault), and the art is not bad, and is more explicit than even patched Huniepop. Still, the pace leaves me cold.
-------
Working through the game around my work schedule, so I haven't completed it yet. Pretty pictures, (mostly) reasonable story with relatively few typos. The protagonist seems to be a date grape-ist, though. "Consent" for him is based entirely on his perception of the woman's desires, not what she says to him. Yes, it's a fantasy world and we all want to escape to where things are easier than real life, but the creep factor of the protagonist is rather high. I haven't played through any other visual novels yet, so maybe this is a common trope, but it does seem to fit into the "grape culture" paradigm. Thankfully, with it being a video game/fantasy, they won't complain and we can all enjoy being an arrogant, haughty, born-with-a-silver-spoon sunuvabitch who is hugely successful with the ladies.
