The player (that's you!) is a part-timer who lives an uneventful, boring life.
One day, you win the prize draw at the shopping district. The prize: a trip to an island in the south -- you decide to take a 30-day vacation.
"I... want to make this a nice vacation...! I want to change myself in this trip!"
You decide to grow out of your dull, boring life and get a girlfriend.
"To get a girlfriend, you have to first get close with a girl! If you don't create a bond with one, then nothing will ever happen!"
On your vacation, you meet all sorts of girls, each of whom has something troubling them. You can talk with them, share a drink with them, and go on a date with them.
"Let's make this a nice vacation."
In this vacation, will you finally come out of your shell, and manage to make a girlfriend?

Tropical Liquor is a good visual novel game with a minigame and a beautiful story. The graphics are nice and the soundtrack is Chill and relaxing... I recommend it!!! 🍹💗

Personally I don't like the game
Everything in this game is so incredibly slow.
The transitions are actually painful to sit through, the text is slow without an option to speed it up, the dialogue is boring and bland... not worth the price. Maybe if it's ever on sale and you have more patience than the average person.
To be frank, it depends on what your're looking for in a dating game. TL does have great art and some likable characters, but the writing is bland and the gameplay is repetitive. I pride myself on my sense of humour, but I can't remember ever laughing or smiling at a clever joke or witty exchange while playing this game. Talking with the girls felt stilted, and every route went exactly the same way - after you played one route, you know them all. And having just two gifts for each girl is borderline lazy, as is the "revealing" incident you get with each girl at their beach date.
Since other reviews have compared TL to HuniePop (which I have played extensively since it first came out), let me do this too. HP's art might be less sophisticated (I found it appropriate, though), but its replay value is infinitely better than TL with its repetitive three-by-four-cube matching. If the people who created TL had taken a page from the HP book, TL would have been a much better experience than the drawn-out going-by-the-numbers it was.
