Создайте свою группировку в новой стратегии в реальном времени и сражайтесь в одиночной и многопользовательской игре, а также в режимах схваток. Вы не только командир, но и инженер: вы полностью контролируете войска, заводы, вооружение и экономику своей группировки.
Модифицируйте и развивайте чертежи, создавая для своей группировки все более совершенные заводы и войска. Между миссиями на разветвленном дереве технологий открываются компоненты, необходимые для проектирования боевых единиц. Чем больше технологий вы изучаете, тем сложнее и мощнее становятся ваши проекты.
За полученные в бою ресурсы вы сможете разблокировать новые возможности на дереве технологий и выбирать архетипы, броню, движители, вооружение и особые способности, в т. ч. маскировки и восстановления. Сделайте свою группировку уникальной! В конце концов вам станут доступны самые мощные варианты, в том числе несколько разновидностей супероружия, которое принесет смерть вашим врагам.
Создавайте свою группировку
Модифицируйте боевые единицы (пехоту, легкую и тяжелую технику, авиацию) с помощью различных типов вооружения, шасси и движителей. На легкую технику можно установить восстанавливающуюся броню, а на авиацию — противотанковое орудие. Адаптируйтесь к любой ситуации и к любому противнику.
Дерево технологий
Каждый выигранный бой в каждом режиме способствует развитию технологий вашей группировки в разных направлениях, а при развитии дерева технологий разблокируются чертежи.
Динамичная сюжетная кампания
Движению сопротивления нужно, чтобы вы создали силу, с которой придется считаться. Пройдите захватывающую сюжетную кампанию: «The Collective» представляет собой все большую угрозу. Сможете ли вы адаптироваться и отразить ее?
Многопользовательская игра через Интернет
Несколько режимов многопользовательской игры на выделенных серверах с поддержкой до восьми человек; возможны и тактическое взаимодействие, и противостояние игроков.

Pros:
+ Unique mechanics where you create your own faction (I think that it is a good choice by developers that you can only modify faction outside of real game, so you need to think about everything in advance when creating a faction)
+ Solid RTS gameplay and feeling which of course resembles CnC very much (well it's Petroglyph)
+ Music by Frank Klepacki!!!!! Yay!
+ Runs very smoothly and is quite polished already
+ Very reasonable price for content that is offered
+ 8 player support from a get go
Some remarks:
- Progression mechanics in multiplayer mode are questionable
- AI feels very similar to 8-bit armies one (and also borrowed same issues) - maybe you should look back into "Grey Goo" AI, because that one felt better
- In my opinion they should drop mechanics that only 1 barracks or only 1 ligh factory can make units (second and third just increases production speed)
- Base expansion should be handled differently - you should be able to build mobile outpost or something similar and decide where to expand yourself (pre-build outposts could be replaced by some other valuable structures - unique turrets or some constant money generators - banks or something other)
- I hope to see observer mode and to be able to choose AI factions as enemies (from those that I created)
- I think that faction skins (just looks) would benefit this game very much - I would be willing to pay for them to make my faction look distinctive

RTS fever dream of a game
WHAT THE FUCK IS UNIT BALANCING EVEN????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is a game I was longing for a long time! Oh, boy, where do I start. They just don't make this kind of games anymore. I have just finished 5th mission (where you kill carter). I spent like 4 hours figuring out how to take 3(THREE!!!) opponents with this b*tch-ass super tank until I have annihilated them all in 15 minutes. This warm feeling, this adrenaline rush.... I can't say it's better than s*x, but it gave me the good old thrill I used to have playing Dune as a Harkonen =) You just oblitirate all the dead and living.
I like the customisation of your troops, although I pretty much stick to the ultimate combo of reinforced armor + rocket launchers. This gives you 90% tier 1 troops, but with great survivability and with a very decent punch packed for each unit type. I swept 4 first mission in a blink of an eye until the forementioned mission 5 gave me some business. I have 10 missions to go and I hope it will be as fun and challenging as the first 5 missions.
Shout out to all the weaklings in comments who posted a negative review and who could not stand the old school style. Hehe, you guys are weak, get a taste of life =)
Even at full price the game is worth every cent. I got it with 50% percent discount which is basically free. Even if there are any drawbacks in this game, I just don't feel anything to complain about. Very solid and fun game!
Being able to build your own units is great, making your own "Faction" Is a ton of fun.
BUT HOLY F***ING GOD!!! Some of the Campaign missions are nearly IMPOSSIBLE, I finally just today completed the Mission where you fight 3 enemies and Commander Carter himself, Yes Both.
This particular mission is total BS, Carter himself, is essentially a moving base and, can call down 4 missile barrages at once right on top of himself, the tank he drives one shots almost every unit you'll have and to top it off let up on your DMG output for even 10 seconds and he regens all of his health!
OH OH and when you Finally kill this S.O.B., all he has to say is "AH, you made me taste my own blood.". B****, I just KILLED you, WHY ARE YOU STILL TALKING!!!! Make a death sound of any kind IDC just D**!
Mission 6 is seems impossible at this time.
Needed to Rant. Great game over all very steep learning curve you need to build income fast and units even faster. Just play multiplayer or skirmish, the Campaign frustration isn't worth it.
Buy C&C Red Alert 3 instead :)
