Сможете в полной мере воспользоваться промышленной революцией и преобразить Ланкашир?
Какой стратегией лучше воспользоваться? Строить фабрики хлопка? Развивать новые технологии? Сооружать каналы? Или производить уголь и железо?
Очевидного ответа не существует, а ситуация постоянно изменяется от игры к игре. Однако, будь то период каналов или железных дорог, каждый игрок стремится заработать как можно больше денег и очков победы, урвав победу из-под носа соперника.
СТРОЙТЕ
Предприятия - это ключ к успеху. Станете ли вы хлопчатобумажным магнатом, владеющим всеми фабриками хлопка в Ланкашире? Или предпочтете продавать уголь и железо? И, конечно же, порты и верфи, без которых невозможно функционировать продолжительное время.
СОЕДИНЯЙТЕ
Стройте соединения между городами в виде каналов и железных дорог. Только тогда вы сможете зарабатывать на всех построенных предприятиях, даже предприятиях соперников.
РАЗВИВАЙТЕ
Не забывайте о развитии. Чем более развиты предприятия, тем больше прибыли вы получаете. Не пренебрегайте развитием.

Продавайте и получайте «brass» - местную валюту (произносить с Йоркширским акцентом). Следите за спросом на рынке и продавайте с большей выгодой!

Although the theme seems extraordinarily boring it's actually an interesting game.
It is true to the boardgame
Its almost unusable in portrait mode it says you can change to landscape but no one i can find seems to know how
Interesting subject for a game, looks at Lancashire during the Industrial Revolution. Graphics are OK, is priced reasonably and occasionally on sale.
Where it falls down a bit is it doesn't really make any sense. Your investment decisions are card based and instead of developing a business all you are really doing is playing a hand of cards with other people who aren't trying to help you. Plus its confusing, hard to know what you should be doing, and frustrating because any plans are destroyed by the randomness of the game.
Playing against the AI its not a bad game. I imagine playing it as a board game with someone who has studied the game for years would be grim.
Teaches a bit of History and Economics.
Merits a very weak recommend but its not very good.

If you like the Board game it is an Exelent port. If you are unshure, see the review for the board game if you are still unshure, just buy it.
A good implementation of the board game. I am yet to win against the AI, which makes it a good game to prepare for real face-to-face board gaming.
It's a very nice game.
HOWEVER I have to say that the interface, at least on my PC, is pretty bad. There is so much space space on the screen to have information clearly presented, yet I'm instead required to constantly click into things to find out what is available. It's a real shame because it makes the game more laborious than it should be.
Still almost a classic boardgame, though.
Poor tutorial. Poor user interface. Poor AI. Just poor.
Great boardgame, but implementation leaves a lot to be desired. Digitization could have been done a lot better - disappointing.
multiplayer doesn't work, can't submit turn, can't see other players take their turn, refund requested
Very disappointing implementation. Severely broken, cannot play an online game with 3 people "Error, reconnecting, Error submitting turn."
Sorry I got on this and was expecting a good game experience and found the interface lacking, and not understandable. This is great board game, but is not executed well at all when ported to the PC.
Very good game. Plays exactly like the board game. Have it for both pc and android. No difference's noted. Smart AI makes no mistakes but finds every mistake you make.

I think I would prefer this better than the board game if they update the graphics, etc
update 2017-10-17. It's fixed. I'll edit review when I get more feels about the game.

When I bought the game its working fine. Now when I start the game I can barely see some text and everything else is blacked out. It's not playable now.
Good game but the A.I needs an update. Two A.I always build cotton mills on the first turn (the third always develops ports), then on the second builds a canal and sells to the distant market, crashing the price of cotton and always making cotton a totally unplayable strategy. This leads to a loss of strategic diversity.
