This game is not another ‘click and wait’ kind of game. No any kind of loot boxes or ‘pay for content’ either. Its deep and detailed business simulation game with ‘hard to win, easy to get bankrupt’ concept in its core.

I feel like this game does not get the credit it deserves, sure it is hard as a management game but in contrast to all the other games i found it just the right amount of difficulty for me. Money is hard to come by but still it does not feel like a constant grind. The idea is nice, the design is nice and it is not as empty as a barista simulator.

I bought this years ago in early _early_ stages. Didn't like it much, but kept it to wait and see what happens with it. What's happening is, the dev keeps disappearing for months at a time, to come back to promise stuff, just before disappearing again. Bummer.
Know what this is in case you want to buy it.

There has been no activity on this early access project since 6/2021.
It's a real cute little game, but the developer keeps saying he's working on it about once a year, but there hasn't been an update in more than like 2 years now? Don't buy it expecting much, or for it to ever be finished.
I was hoping the game was better, and even though it's a cheap game it feels like wasted money. Very slow and reminds me off games in the 80 and 90's. There is no save or pause functions. Even web browser based farming games are more fun.
I preface this by saying I liked the game and concept. It reminds me of games I played when I was young.
The game is in fairly early alpha right now, by a single developer. It is quite buggy, for example, you can't unpause using the GUI speed buttons, but you can with the number keys 1-3. Also, for some reason NPCs spawn and get stuck after playing a game for quite a while. It's an alpha so you know...There are also several features not yet implemented. This includes the inability to auto repair broken coffee machines and auto service them, even though the check boxes exist. Some work is needed, as an example office staff never have energy, and even decrease in energy when they have nothing todo (0 work on research and 0 on management tasks, totalling 0% workload).
I cannot rightfully recommend a game that is in the current state this many years into development. They claim it isn't their focus right now, but the game still costs more than 10 pounds (5 for me due to a sale). Really wish the developer luck, and hope the game has some actual turnaround. There is potential, but early access games don't always reach potential.
Abandonware? Over 6 month no updates? Tutorial is broken, after it you get messages of workers gain levels - well I have none, maybe it talk of ghosts xD Currently not worth to buy.

Lemonade Tycoon clone. However in its current state this game is barely playable, and updates don't seem to come around. Almost 4 months into the release and nothing is happening, really.
The price asked for this game is really a disgrace, considering the current content and pace of development, and I can't help but feel I've been robbed.
Doesn't Steam have any quality assurance at all on what's being released?

I get that its an early access game that is gonna have bugs. But after 30 mins the game became unplayable. Tried multiple new saves, Restarting the game and nothing changed. I had tried to change the worker at the kiosk so i hired a second worker, But couldnt even assign him, He was in the list (unlike the one i had removed from the kiosk to rest) but clicking assign did nothing. Coffee machine then brok on another save, tried to put the spare in, no mechines in the list to choose from, even after fixing the one both said they were usable but basically didnt exist
Was excited to get in and play this game , did scenario mode and couldnt clean my coffee stand so customers where put of and didnt come making me loose.
Then i gave sandbox mode a go , $40,000 start off , i bought my kiosk and placed it to then find i couldnt place coffee machines , staff and things even though i got charged for the items i clicked buy on.
The game in current form i wouldnt recommend depending on when they resolve these issues im not sure but then i would say get it at discount price not full , would like to see what developments are for this game in furture but for me i cant play in current form right now but i shall once problems have been solved.
it's a pretty fun game altough it's still in alpha and pretty buggy i hope the developer maintains it and updates it to remove bugs and add new stuff i think it's a good game i would rate it 3/5 currently
I gave this game some time. Really liked to like it. I love tycoon games, Software Inc is my favorite at the moment and I thought this game might become an alternative for a change.
But unfortunately this is absolutely not appealing to me. Some things just don´t seem to work for me - maybe I just can´t find out how to do it, though. There is no intro or anything and I can`t even repair a coffee machine once it´s broken.
Sorry, but at this stage I cannot recommend to purchase the game. I´ll look back into it in half a year, maybe it´ll be playable by then.
I REALLY wanted to like this. I LOVE the pixel art, and enjoy this kind of game in general. However, I think for me, a non-coffee drinker, I am missing some of the magic that I feel I should have to truly appreciate what this game is and will be.
That said, it being soooo early in development, I'm sure even I'll be able to appreciate it as it comes along further. Granted, I only gave it a go for an hour, but it wasn't hitting the mark for me, at this time.
So, still a positive review, because I really feel this is one of those individual magic things that I missed for me to keep diving in like I normally do with a business sim.

Actual financials, a difficult environment and learning curve make it feel like you're running a real business.
Positioned somewhere in between of Industrial Giant 2 and casual Your Strategy Needs a Strategy from BCG, CoffeBiz provides intense gameplay full of challange and fun. You need to try it several times to start earning money but than you will become obsessed :) The only economic simulator with true economics in it. P&L and CF, management of intangable assets, marketing, HR management, R&D, expansion, customer profiles - all is in there. Totally recommend for all economic nerds.
Great potential for a really serious and in-depth economic simulator. If you miss the great economic simulators of the old, and looking for a challenging game, this could be it! A bit rough around the edges at the moment, but the dev seems pretty involved, so hoping for some quality of life updates soon.
I really tried to like this game, because I'm also a developer, and I love tycoons. It's just.. I won't judge it for bugs, because it's of course an alpha, but I will judge it's gameplay.
First of all, I don't like playing scenarios in this kind of games, so I went straight for sandbox. I've chosen 40.000$ for start, rented the moderate place, hired moderate worker, bought moderate coffe machine, bought ingredients.. And if it's all moderate, (not cheap at all) then it should be quite alright, shouldn't be?
But then suddenly my worker at his first day of work got ill, his performance dropped to 5%, energy to 0. The next day he was okey, but as the night came my kiosk got vandalized, and after that night my worker got ill again. 2 days after - kiosk got vandalized again. It's just.. If it's a tycoon, give a little room to breathe, I would like to see my first income. (Opinions were B so it wasn't bad but sales were horrible). And I tried couple of times.. It's always the same, workers are ill 2-3 times a week and kiosk is being vandalized in same frequency.
And about leveling up workers, experience grows way to slow..
I like the concept of a serious strategy game, where you can loose after a couple of mistakes. Early Access version has some bugs and seems lack of content but for me its OK for such price and fact that its made by a single person. Graphics also are very nice. But if you want a polished product, better wait for some updates.
I hope developer won’t abandon the game and continue development. I see some potential here.
Spelling mistakes (high is spelled hight), absolutely no direction given so you have no idea what to do, even placing a stand is a chore. I really wanted to like this to give it a much needed positive review but I just cant.
It does have a very nice style though, and the concept is great. It just shouldn't have been released into early access at this stage.
