Super chill, seemingly endless gameplay (once you get a little capital built up). Highly recommend. Note: There is a v2 out now, in early release. I've not played it yet.

I'm addicted! Its heaps of fun. At first I thought it was a little game but there is so much more than expected.
This game is cool, i love the feel when i started playing this farm game, it makes me feel like i am a real farmer in this game and have to plan what would a farmer plan for its crops, animals etc etc. it teaches you about growing which crops gives you more profits (e.g., watermelon) and i love this game that can supports multiplayer and i enjoy playing this game with my boyfriend.
Its a relaxing game where you grow crops, make friends, and accidentally turn into a capitalist vegetable overlord.
A lovely relaxing gameplay. Design your farm as you wish, move things around if you need. Crops grow while you are offline, if you stay online another players may come and help out. Generally nice and helpful community of players. Some of the animations may be a little annoying (observed when plowing many many... many tiles) but doable.
I find it relaxing to play with controller. Just sit back and relax. Also game is great for roleplaying if you enjoy it.
Farm Together is an incredibly fun game, especially if you're looking for something to play with your partner. My girlfriend and I played together and loved it! The game is simple and relaxing, with farming and management mechanics that are both engaging and enjoyable, along with the ability to customize your farm.
One of the things that makes Farm Together so great for playing together is that you don’t need to be in the game all the time. Since harvesting and plant growth happen in real-time, you can simply wait for the necessary time in real life and come back later to see the results. This makes the game much more laid-back, without the need to play for hours at a time.
Playing cooperatively is also a lot of fun. While one person tends to the crops, the other can take care of the animals or organize the farm, and together you'll unlock new areas and items. The pace is light and progressive, allowing for a relaxing and enjoyable experience.
If you’re looking for a game to play with your partner, Farm Together is an excellent choice!
I think I'm in love!
When I joined Steam five years ago (really? didn't seem like that long), it was really just for a nostalgic reunion with Bard's Tale, as my old discs wouldn't play with current Windows. Once and done, that was gonna be me.
Then I hooked into Stardew Valley and, well, as the thousands of hours since suggest, I stuck around. And I found an especially joyful pleasure in what I became informed are "farming sims". Having been one of those Mastadon-era players of Farmville, I was pretty thrilled.
And yet, they were so much more than farming. A good thing, in many ways, but, gosh, I don't need ALL the games to make me chase through mines or hunt down special gifts to make friends/romances.
Then came this. Holy Farming Only, Batman! It's really just farming! Sure, sure, there are fish ponds and animals, but, c'mon. this thing's bread and butter is crops! Farming crops. Planting crops. Watering crops. And farming crops (wait, I said that already).
Now, looking at the expanse available over time, there is no way a single human being could manage this all by his or her lonesome...but I am sure gonna try! I mean, I feel embarrassed to invite someone to my farm in this day and age like I did in Farmville and have them find it's bereft of buildings, decorations, roads and heck, even fences.
I'd like to get to them but, THERE'S SO MUCH FARMING!!!
Is it a grind? No, dagnabbit, it's farming! What do you think farming is like? And, you do get your handy tractor, so you do get some speed upgrade (I'm only a few hours in, so I don't know if the tractor itself can be upgraded - functionally, as opposed to appearance).
But, gosharoonies, if you enjoy a classic farming game experience with a heck of a lot of variety and "real-time" progress (the game keeps going even when you're offline), then this is going to be a ton of fun.
Heck, it should be a ton of fun just as a relief from carrying around pickaxes and hoes and scythes and swords and having to visit the same NPC's day after day just to get them to like you. Forget all that nonsense, be an in-game loner and live the hermit farmer life.
You can even make "real life" friends (hidden behind aliases and gosh knows what profiles) to come over and work on your farm for/with you (just make sure you return the favor, lazy).
As a person with 4-digit hours in SDV, I am a sitting duck for a game like this. And to get it during a Steam sale...well, it's Christmas in Farmtopia (or wherever this vast expanse of land is located).
If you like 'farming', this game is for you. Beautiful graphic, relaxing environment, and lovely community (visitors).
At first I doubted if this game would be boring as the only thing you could do is just farming and waiting, but it turned out to be the most relaxing game I've played so far. Besides, the more I expand my farm, it seems like things are over my hands and I feel I'm busier than I thought!
I like that I can be very flexible in focusing on expanding the farm OR just slowly growing and making my farm pretty.
I can play it at my own pace and personality, there is no pressure condition putting on this game at all.
As a full-time worker, I play this game only once a week, and this feels so good that I don't need to feel guilt of missing something out or staying behind other players.
Only few downside which I think may have been developed in Farm Together 2 are limited options of decorating items (that I need to reuse everything over my farms) and exhausting work (farming required efforts to dig,plant,water which took longer than it should be). However, these cons don't make this game less enjoyable!
Recommended! especially if you get it in special deal!
You can play this for years and its fun with childeren, easy to learn.

I like everything so far
If you're into chill cozy farm sims that you want to revisit to harvest - this is your game. It's got some grind-y type elements to it i.e. to make money you have to focus on flower production. But generally, it's very chill with lots of decoration options for your farm house. The few things it is missing is a town where you can sell goods, or perhaps a storyline with quests if you wanted the game to feel less like a sandbox. If you're into the sandbox vibe tho - this is great. I found it's most fun played when playing with others. My husband and I played for a few hours together and we found it fun.

THIS WAS NOT AS ADVERTISED.
Though that was on me, I should have watched some reviews on this before purchasing, but I was impatient in wanting to pick a good prized cozy game to co-op with some friends. So it was a spontaneous purchase. I liked the concept of this game, but as we played, it came to realization that this is just like a mobile game. This should have been one if I am being honest. Maybe it would have done better. I was a bit addicted to it at the beginning, but having to wait actual hours just to pick my crops--accounting the timed seasons became annoying and a hassle.
This game is hours of fun no stress farming. Probably the best farming game I have played

I experienced the farm reset bug several times in just two play sessions. Each time I would lose all progress and all work. I'm not starting over again. If you value your time I do not recommend.
One of the few games me and my GF ever played, and it is everything you are looking for after a long day of work.
You can play it purposefully, or just mess around on an almost endless canvas.

Love this game & looking forward to getting my hands on the new one. It reminds me a bit of the old Zoo tycoon for pc. I'll list some features I wish the game had.
-perennial vegetables and herbs. maybe some shade net /winter tunnels to keep seasons going longer.
-When using the tractor it would be nice to decide how many blocks and in what fashion I want to lay them
-auto replanting feature by a farmhand. Id love to assign any given farmhand a specific crop to lay - even cooler would be a rotation crop feature, so in a 3 hour period, they could plant carrots, cabbage, cauliflower.
-a way to shuffle through all pending quests on the main screen
-all planted quest items in parenthesis so I know how many more I need to plant
- a way to keep tabs on the total/remaining amount of resources i need in my house (cooking, easel, piano ) to earn tickets. I find myself having to go back and pick items i could've picked up before checking for completion.
A pantry could be so cute to store the required ingredients one uses in house. One more task to do but I'd love it.
-Animals are sooo high maintenance (just like real life). Aside from assigning a farmhand, maybe incorporate an auto-feeder or barn you can stock for X amount of time to help keep up with their hunger demands & overall output.
False advertisement. Remote play together isnt working or is a lie. Steam is requiring my friend to buy a copy of game..

Really nice game
With over 1400 hours in this game I can assure you it is worth playing xD It's very chill, very relaxing and one of my favorite cozy games of all time. Highly recommend this and it's sequel Farm Together 2. You can't go wrong purchasing either one of them.
It's relaxing fun game
It's a very fun and relaxing game. Highly recommend this. This is insanely addictive, even when alone, better with friends or family. Can play with up to 16 players at a time. Teamwork is the key to a successful farm. This is hands down one of my all time favourite game I have ever bought on Steam, so much fun.

All I do this afk let my farmer play
A fairly simple farming focused game that truly grew on me. Once I got everything laid out and started to unlock more things, the game becomes a perfect time sink while you have stuff going on that you are only half paying attention to. Ive got just shy of 50 hours at this point and I've pretty much done everything I wanted, just trying to get some more achievements. I will leave this game installed on my computer because it is that perfect game to put on and all of a sudden its 5 hours later.
In a word, this game is relaxing. It’s fun to get into a zen state & farm (for short periods anyway). The problem is, I feel this game gets pretty repetitive quickly (though that was to be expected). I liked it for what it was, but I got pretty bored of it.
it is a great casual game. fun to just chill out and play while watching shows. cant wait to try Farm Together 2.

I dont know how I sank so much time into a farm game. I dont play these types of games, but my wife picked this up and wanted to co-op it on the Steam Deck. I recommend this game, had a lot of fun playing it, especially in co-op. It worked great on the Steam Deck as well - no issues at all there. Exclusively played it on the Steam Deck.
Really enjoyed getting the game to 100% which took me about 60 hours. The mechanic of changing seasons really works well.
Even if you consider yourself into mostly strategic and military games (which I do), this is still a great game to play with friends/family. Once my wife and I started playing this, so did our kids on the XBOX. Really happy to see work on Farm Together 2 coming along - we will be picking that one up on full release I am sure.
Fun, cozy, no stress building game that works great on the Steam Deck, and is really fun to play alongside others.
