Time management games have one great series that stands out, the Hercules series. For those that have played this series this game brings nothing new but it is still enjoyable. For those that did not played so far the series this is a great introduction to it.
Familiar pattern without the time consuming achievement to beat all developer records that was introduced in the previous game.
y all the games in this series are fun and just difficult enough to capture my attention
I did enjoy the game, but I really miss boss fights and minigames, it starts feeling like the levels are just endlessly repeating. Even tho, I did enjoy the idea of a long journey and it kinda reminded me of Age of Empire, its also an Improvement from 12 labours VI
More of the same, but with a less interesting story than before.
The game runs fine, but the achievements are broken. Some unlock that don;t seem to meet requirements, while ones that do meet requirements do not.
Beating the developer's scores? Good luck with that unless you enjoy trying to memorize a walkthrough video or use a script/mod to play the game for you. I'd rather earn achievements honestly, so this isn't going to happen- not even going to try for the "beat the dev's scores" cheevos.
Not sure when I got this, and what I paid for it (likely part of a bundle of some sort), and even at full price it's not expensive. But you get what you pay for, I guess? If you're addicted to the franchise- sure, go for it, knowing that the game is just more of the same, and has broken achievements that will never be fixed. Otherwise- save your money and get something else.
(quick edit to correct a typo or two.)
This worked with Windows 10 for me.
It's a good game. You play it by clicking on things. (Boy does that describe a lot of games.) Clicking on something assigns a worker, or, contextually, another character, to take that action, collecting resources, fixing things, upgrading buildings, and demolishing obstructions. Where the gameplay comes in there are limited pathways that restrict what things you can do, until you open those pathways up; and you need to, quickly, on the fly, work out what to do next, and where to set your priorities. Each level has a different kind of puzzle to work out. If that sounds like your kind of thing, buy it.
This is a cute and fun time and resource management game. It definitely lives up to its label as a causal game. The graphics are simple but uses bright colors to attract young and old players alike. There is a back story and each level is developed well to keep the story interesting as you progress through the game.
I’ve only played a handful of levels but the challenges for each one is just slightly different. This is obviously better than other games of the same genre (and price point) that just changes the maze design but not how it plays. For instance, in this game either a new character gets introduce and/or new objects with different capabilities to keep the playability fresh.
A slight frustration with the game is the timing on directing your workers to do their tasks. What I thought was an obvious next step to say gather some food after fixing a bridge, the worker just returns to camp. I really needed to time giving a command to a worker in order to make them do what I wanted them to do. But, my frustration could also be in my inexperience in playing this game.
I think I paid around HK$3.80 for this game so when it comes to value, I got a lot for my money. It’s worth a buy at this price.
Once more, we get to learn about Hercules' adventures in a family-friendly and adapted way. It's also more of the same, it didn't change much. Only worth killing time and following the story, especially for those who are already familiar with the series.
They finally got it right with this one. Getting perfect achievements wasn't trivial, but it wasn't impossible either. It just required some extra planning and tries, and it was awesome. Very satisfying for a casual game.
Another fun point & Click resource collection game in the Hercules series.
The artwork is cute and lovely and the music is good.
The game play is the same as all the Hercules games, but is still fun and engaging.
Thoroughly recommend to everyone :)

The Game Review
Game Visuals
I want to mention that the visuals in the game are well done. The visuals can be adjusted in the game's option menu.
Game Audio
I want to mention that audio for the game is well done. Even though the audio is somewhat simplistic and repetitive. The audio can be adjusted in the game's option menu as well.
Gameplay
This is a strategy game, where careful planning is required, due to the limited amount of resources that are available.
There are three game difficulty modes to choose from: Relaxed; Casual and Expert. The difference between these game difficulty modes: timer speed and scoring. In relaxed mode there is no timer and scoring. In casual mode, there is a timer and scoring, but the timer is slow to drain and scoring is low. In expert mode, there is a timer and scoring, but the time drains rather quickly and scoring is much higher.
The star and score rating depends on a couple of factors: How fast the level was completed. How much resources are leftover. This only applies to the casual and expert mode. The star rating system: Three Stars (Gold;) Two Stars (Sliver) and One Star (Bronze.) There is an opportunity to replay all the levels for better scoring and star rating.
There are a few special bonuses: Freeze Time; Worker Movement; Worker Speed; Additional Worker and Addition Resources. All of these special bonuses have a time limit. But they can be used once the bar has been filled up. These bonuses are extremely useful when the game is being played on expert mode.
There are twenty-three different achievements that can be unlocked from playing the game. Each of these achievements does come with some requirements that need to be completed before they can be unlocked.
Miscellaneous
There is an extra feature included in the game: Wallpapers. There are six different wallpapers; they can be accessed through the game's main menu screen.
There are seven different trading cards to collect. Only four of those trading cards are given out by the game. There are several ways to get the rest of the trading cards: Purchased from the Steam's Community Market; Trade with friends; Booster Packs and its Booster Pack Creator.
Final thoughts: I have found the game enjoyable to a certain extent. The replay value for the game is low. I would recommend this game, but not at the game's full price value.
More Herculean goodness, with enough new gameplay tweaks to get things interesting. This is the first one that runs full screen on my multi-monitor set-up, so everything looked impressively big. :) Runs great on Steamplay!
What can possibly anyone say about the 12 Labours of hercules saga. Time management at it's best, nice colourful graphics, funny characters, satisfying gameplay. Many hours of entertainment guaranteed. Pick 'em all at once!
SO much easier than the previous game. Not much has changed gameplay wise, i wish they hadn't have left it so late in the series for them to add a few new gameplay features which would have helped from the very start, other than that and a few cosmetic changes, its the same as previous, still being fun, and challenging! You don't realise how glad I am that i've finished the series. (So far anyway). Not that it's a bad game, because none of them are, they're all fun games and nice to play. But it's about time that they called it quits on the 12 Labours series before it gets too repetative. Other games made by the developers are an exact copy, just named differently, so maybe they've gone down a new road, so if this is the last time i have played a 12 Labours game, i'm happy to say i played through it all and enjoyed almost every hour doing so. 8/10
I've played and enjoyed all the 12 Labours of Hercules games, and this one was no different. A perfect relaxation game. I do wish there were a few new music tracks (they reuse them game after game), but that's a small critique.
It's the same game all over again, if you loved the previous ones, you are gonna love this one. There's one new bonus, small improvements, and the last super bonus level was worth the whole game. KEEP THEM COMING, I'LL KEEP BUYING THIS
The following review applies to all games from the "12 Labours of Hercules" series. Even though they have different themes, they all have the same gameplay style and overall quality.
The "12 Labours of Hercules" series has extremely captivating resource-management games, with beautiful and enjoyable graphics, sound effects and soundtrack. Even though they are casual games, they offer some challenge if played in difficult mode. The achievements are relatively easy to get - by the time you finish the game, you'll probably have gotten them all, or at least have just a couple to complete.
An interesting factor is that with each new title in the series the developers seem to add and improve game mechanics. Although they have a "background story”, the narrative is very simple and each title has its own theme, so there is no need to play them in any specific order.
The cost benefit of the games is very good, since in addition to all having cards, they are also pretty cheap. So far there are 7 games in the series, costing $ 2.99 each or $ 16.73 for the complete pack. Since most of them have been in several bundles and frequent sales, it is quite easy to get them for less than "full price".
*Personally, I recommend buying the complete pack during the big sales (Summer Sale and Winter Sale, around June and December), and you don’t even need to pay the full price if you already have some of the games.

Short version: 58%
Fleecing the Fleece is the kind of time management game that is difficult to tell what it wants, because it is too simplistic for returning players but too difficult and fast-paced for newcomers.
Long version:
12 Labours of Hercules VII: Fleecing the Fleece shows some signs of the series getting tired or getting a bit confused on its own goals and intended player demographic.
The most evident sign is gameplay; most of the distinct elements that characterised this series for six games have disappeared, leaving only the most basic time management formula: use servants to gather resources, and then spend those to build production buildings or to clear obstacles.
This simplification would indicate something made for newcomers, but the level design contradicts that. The core problem is food production: sources replenish fast but yield little, and every task costs a lot. This means most levels require a frantic pace to keep workers busy, and the goal times are exceedingly harsh (the developer high scores even more so).
The result is a difficulty that can please series veterans, because the challenge level is fun, despite the simplistic gameplay. Still, it offers small chance for newcomers to beat the game on anything but the lowest setting.
The latest in a series of silly, goofy, and (to be perfectly blunt) fairly formulaic little time manager games. That said, there's nothing wrong with the formula and they've been tweaking it with little additions (and removals) of side mechanics over the whole series, always with the admirable goal of making the next title smoother and more fun. Playing a level or two is a relaxing way to blow 10 minutes, especially since you have to actively TRY in order to paint yourself into an unwinnable corner on most any level.
Try the demo of the first game to see if the core formula works for you. Not to mention you could grab any two of the series for the price of a cheap lunch these days, if they do appeal.
Slightly better graphics and a bit more expansive levels than earlier entries in the series.
Nice, fluid and well tuned, once again. More of the same, which is not bad at all.
