for the low low price of 3$, you can play knockoiff multiplayer stalker, which is actually fun if you get past some slightly inconvinient russian translations. BUT, the upside is that russians are very nice and they will adopt you and teach you how to play the game, and give you stuff too so long as you are friendly with them. overall the best 3$ ive spent on steam.
Incredible game, horrible graphics. The feral gopniks decided to adopt me and feed me spoiled milk when I think of home, it barely comforts me enough. Buy the game so I can kill you
So first off, I tried to like this game, but its just so bad that i feel sick while playing it.
i think the entire game was slapped onto google translate and only 25% of all the Russian was translated.
the gameplay sucks, its hard, confusing and its unclear.
The controls are jumbled up, the hints don't help with anything.
It looks like a rip-off of a popular game.
I got some loot and literally out of nowhere a Russian dude started yelling and then a few seconds later, I just died for no reason,the death message was in Russian and didn't even finish and then i got sent to the main menu.
The game overall is just crappy.
Please don't waste your money on this garbage "game".
my firstime playing this..i just bought this game..and just create a game and enter as new player..so i dont know any single things to do yet except walking around into any house..and it just take 4minutes before someone high level kill me suddenly and take all my weapon and stuff and i have to start it over again.with empty barehand. i wouldnt recommend this game to anyone to waste their time. im very dissappointed hows this game works.
The game seems great for exploration and the atmosphere is awesome. Being teleported randomly by some strange light was interesting. Then I got killed by a helicopter that appeared out of nowhere and lost everything. AIN'T NO WAY IN HELL I'M PAYING REAL MONEY TO GET MY EQUIPMENT BACK OR TO KEEP IT AFTER DEATH! Nice little scam ya got going there though. I will give you that. This game could be absolutely amazing if more time was spent fixing it's issues. The layout of the UI is horrible in my opinion. Ability to resize would be nice. I will attempt to play some more. Only to see what other mysteries await... if any.
*UPDATE: A few unexpected surprises. Not enough to keep me interested sadly.

if u like to spend hours of playing a survival game, where u loot and then suddenly u die inside a house and dont know why.
it happen only in this game, 7 hour looting, u go in the house and u die loot lost. there is no map, i mean this game is so shit just dont spend money on it and in the server in a big map only 2 players are online and playing it. thats so boring.the developper to fix there fkin ghost around the houses because they doesnt make any sense and they can kill u without u even see them.u only have a radio that make sound if they are close and thats it. u cant escape.and why the developper are doing thats?
because they want u to buy loots from the menu. yea thats right it have the pay to win. they give a shit for their clients.if u wana spent 3 bucks and then 20 bucks inside the game and think urself a pro player because u have a full kit then its worth.but dont spend hours looting in this game because u will die for no reason after hard work, u will wish that a player will shoot u and not the buggy game

The translations in this game are pretty bad, and my Russian isn't that great.
Sunrise: Survival is a $3 Russian made survival game, I'm pretty sure they developed this in the free version of the Unity editor.
With the language barrier, it's hard to figure out what's going on and you'll probably be killed by a screaming Russian (one of maybe 6 people playing the game) before you figure out how to finish the first quest.
The environment itself is worth exploring for the $3 alone, especially if you're into Eastern Bloc aesthetics. If anything, Id' recommend it for that alone. The gunplay is pretty poor and the survival mechanics are boring, but for $3 it's hard to pass up if you're into the niche Russian survival genre.
PROS:
- It's essentially S.T.A.L.K.E.R. online.
- Great gun mechanics/physics.
- Creepy/Atmospheric.
- Can run on my i3 laptop.
CONS:
- Rampant broken English makes completing missions difficult.
- 95% of the voice and text chats are in Russian.
(Thus ends my language barrior gripes.)
- Warmth/Endurance depletes too quickly for how scarce wood and matches seem.
- Not the most intuitive U.I. around.
Despite its faults, I would recommend this game for fans of S.T.A.L.K.E.R., The Long Dark and other survival/shooters.
this was the worst game i have ever played there is no mini map and no way to tell if you are going in the right direction at all to complete your quests. was not worth buying who ever developed this game needs to go back to the drawing board cuase honestly horrible game not worth paying for
Piece of crap... basic world t run around in not worth the 4 bucks i spent on it tryign to get money back now.. worthless
Game so far is pretty good,. Not many players and a limited number speak english. Very good dynamics.
A bug i encountered is where i died and the game crashed and all i could hear was someone speaking in russian i think using in game mic. (basically sounded like my Voip got switched to his channel)
Good for the price and hope to see more work done.

There is still a few bugs and i kinda feel bored as there is still no players.
There is a new patch update but it seems everything is still the same.
Log in and fall through the map. open a cuboard and fall through the map!?
Monsters are near impossible to kill and weapons are not too reliable.
I am changing my Review on this basis and not recommending it.
Until better updates.
Hey, your game is really cool but i have already this problems, i can't play your game, because i´m 1 minute in game and than there come terrible sounds and a text message that i´m dead, please fix this!!
basically like a DayZ replica. its a nice game but there is alot of work to be done. hopefully they keep up with it as i can see it being very fun and huge. one particular thing ive noticed is when im in a building my frames drop. maybe its me but i highly doubt it with my specs. anyways id try it out
I tried to like this game. I really did.
It has very similar atmosphere to STALKER, therefore I tried making the same connection as I did while playing Stalker. The only problem I have is with the Multiplayer. Don't get me wrong, it works fine, it's the servers and its population. Seems like every server you join is a Russian server, with a sh*tty ping and KoS (aggressive) players, that kill you once they see you, even if you don't have sh*t on you.
Yet loot spawn sucks too. Even worse than Hardcore DayZ's loot. FFS. Create PVE servers and put few in America, and they I will give it a shot. But right now, f:trump:ck this game.
I've only played Sunrise: Survival for a few hours but it's enough time to show me that this game was worth the $3 dollars i paid for it. i've gotten much less enjoyment from spending $3 dollars on a taco combo from Del Taco.
If you are like me and mostly just enjoy playing these survival games for Loot and killing the random player who wants to Kill your Mojo and Steal your Loot then this game is for you.

It's pretty bad, but I enjoy bad. I'm going to keep it because it has room for improvement, because it was just released. Full of Russians of course, so some are greedy (most are greedy). Because it was so cheap, im going to also keep trying back at it every once in a while, but I believe the paying aspects are a little overkill and too early for the game's development. It's a little amateur to make that addition. Some may believe that it's a little too overpowered to have some and most of the kits in the game, but you can find so many of the weapons, and even craft them in little amounts of time, then quickly raid the guys who had wasted their money on a kit in this game instead of finishing the collection of vodka and adidas jumpsuits like the slavs they are.

When I first started up the game, I got a very "H1Z1: Survival" vibe, but that quickly wore off. Almost immediately after logging in, I was relentlessly killed by other players. The big glaring issue with this, is that new players start with a fully loaded AK47, but you lose it after you die. So, players who have been there a while are farming ammo and guns off people who just spawn in, then those players are left high and dry.
There is no teaming up in this game, unless you load in with a friend. Also, the player base appears to be entirely made up of Russian speakers (not an issue, just beware if you're looking to voice chat in English).
The graphics feel old and muddy, while the sound seems pretty decent. For the little amount of shooting I did get to do, the hit detection seemed to work okay. Although I did unload 5 shots from a shotgun point blank into some kind of swamp monster who seemed unaffected.
For the actual meat of the game, you spend most of your time wandering around and looking for supplies to patch together weapons and survive off food you find in random locations. The game world feels large, and fairly sparse between locations. There are random areas that have this electric looking blue glow which will kill you if you go near. I'm not sure if that is supposed to be a visual representation of radiation, as that is also something you are supposed to avoid.
All in all, this game is playable and the online servers were actually very responsible. I did get bored quickly though and feel there are better options out there. I'm going to say the game has some potential, but I can't recommend at this time.
This game is like a knockoff multiplayer stalker wannabe that also has pay to win aspects such as buying weapons and ammo for real money. Stay away.
This game is okay at best it's not the best and it isn't bad but i can't recommend it, even tho you buy the game they still expect you to pay real money to buy gold to create a group and to buyweapons not forgetting you still have to buy the game and yes i know it isn't expensive but still buying a game and still having to buy stuff in game? like honestly? the spawns are aint great the way it looks is basically like a s.t.a.l.k.e.r. trying to find your friends it stupid as you can't even group up as i don't expect to buy a game then have to pay ingame credits to get stuff
If anything changes or gets better may change my review but untill then I do not recomend it
