Story:
You are Ben, an unknown exorcist, who has been summoned to the Witherspoon house because of strange goings on that have frightened the family from their home.
Stepping into the unknown to face ghosts and terrifying creatures, armed with faith, holy water and a UV flashlight, your job as Exorcist is to figure out why the spirits are angry, to seek out the hidden secrets that will finally put their souls rest and allow the Witherspoon family to return to their home.
Are you afraid? Of course you are, but you are Ben the Exorcist.

Get yourself an friend and play the game with them watching and have an good laugh about it
While there are few things that I cannot suggest (the save system, which is mentioned by others, and the non-skippable scene at the beginning, which gets old fast due to the aforementioned save-system), it is a worthwhile purchase overall.
Beyond the two mentioned negatives, though, it's a totally enjoyable game with a fresh premise, simple game mechanics for game-play, and a solid sense of humor (I just set the house, family, cops, Pope and world aflame because I was too lazy to finish the exorcism...Win!!). I'm just over an hour in at this point, but I've seen enough representation of the game to think it worth suggesting to others, especially for the price.
If you were not sure whether to buy the game or not, don't. It's broken as of now, at least on the "May god help you" difficulty. The cash does not spawn anywhere. Also the sound is a mess, with no option for music, and all around unresponsive.

this game is the most BS game i have ever played have a auto save or regular save feature i hate getting really far then a ghost appears out of nowhere in front of me and kills me and boom complete restart if you fix this i would be more than happy to fix my review until then

they added a save system I really love devs that listen and when I made the first review i was angry at a lot of other things and took it out on this game through the review now that things are getting better I'm changing my review to recommend because it really is a awesome game it needed a save system and they fixed it and for that I'm a fan of this dev team
I first saw Markiplier play this, and knew I have to give it a shot. This game is really fun. The humor is funny, and the ghosts can be pretty tough. You'll spend a lot time looking for stuff tied to the ghosts, and while it can be frustrating, it never reaches the level of rage quitting. The game can be pretty punishing. When you die, you go to your last autosave, which often means losing the items and quests you had, but it just makes me more determined. The controls work great, the ghosts do a great job of inciting "Oh crap oh crap" moments, the needed items are not always in the same spots, you may not always witness the same hauntings, and there's multiple endings, which is big for me. The game is addicting, and well worth the money. Headphones are definitely recommended to hear the ghosts creeping around better.

Update . Changes by devoplers have been positive. Day time is now light enough to see. Long puzzle is now saved when you are killed. You can only rebind some keys cursor left and right for instance can not be change.
Story is interesting just a shame I keep getting killed.
Getting very peeved collected all items to summon a ghost and then got killed so start all over again.
This game needs a better save system currently destroys the game.
8.5 hours in and still not bound my first ghost . Collected over 20 objects and still keep getting killed and start all over again. Last time chased down by three ghosts.
Time to uninstall,
This game is rad.
Unique gameplay.
Fight demons and ghosts.
Lighting needs work.
