Loot your way through a procedural dungeon. The floors generate endlessly, and with many room types there's plenty of fresh encounters as you delve deeper into the dungeon.
Use tactics to fight hoards of enemies. The enemies are smart and work together in their attempt to defeat you. Use your party's many abilities to synergize with each other to gain the upper hand. Bosses pose an even greater threat and will need you to keep sharp attention on their spells and items so you come to no encounter unprepared.
Encounter beings that can help, or slow you down, along your path. Sacrificial chambers grant rewards for risking your life or coin, shops contain rare items and consumables, enchanted anvils allow you to create items, cursed rooms debilitate your party, or empower your enemies, during your next combat encounter, and many more interactions through the many room types.

Honestly really easy to get lost in, and really easy & fun to play!
When I first got the game I thought of it more as 'just a time waster', and left it in my library uninstalled for a while, but now that I've really gotten into it I'm actually quite enjoying it! Even after dying to the same enemies over and over again, all I took from it was "rework your strategy" and after some time I make it through.
The story (from what I can tell, I may have missed stuff) is quite basic, but thats not a bad thing! Even with its simplicity I found it intriguing and I could peace together my own story while reading.
I can see how this wouldn't be many people's cup of tea, but for me, the story and gameplay are really enjoyable!

fantastic oldie, played it as a flash game years and years ago, still has the same charm, but with bug fixes and some small content. its the text based dnd of your dreams. however, there are still a few bugs here and there that can be annoying but not impossible to make the game playable. i love this game, its fun, not restrictive, and has an amazing dev
I'll be honest, I actually liked the game better when it was in armorgames. I thought I'd play this for the memories of playing it, and there were a few things that I liked, including new twists compared, but there's something that I absolutely hate about.
With the wrong Seed, you could be royally screwed if you ended up getting 3 or 4 opponents on your first battle. That has happened to me almost every attempt I made (I probably got lucky on that once or twice, but that's it).
Overall, it's a neat change on the game, but there were times where I like the older version better.
Fun tactical casual RPG, good for 5-10 hours of solid entertainment.
It's come a long way in the last several years. I really enjoy the game. 8/10, would recommend

Old school D & D fun. Easy to play anywhere. Play this during meetings, play this totally focused. Dev keeps adding more fun twists and options. Cannot recommend enough.
A wonderful game. It is worth the money.
Some suggestions:
1) Enemy should be diverse and evolve, especailly in deeper floors. Only increasing the magnitude of ability while the type of ability is constant is kind of boring.
2) you could make the game being more and more complex as the gamer progress deeper and deeper, it seems almost the same to the former one. However, crawling floors at the beggining gives me the same feeling I felt when first beating Gundyr in dark soul. This game is insanely hard and not friendly to beginner, and it disappoints to me when I found deeper floors is not chanllenge in later period.
typically i dont write reviews but seeing as how this game is as underrated as it is i figured it could use a bit of love especially since ive enjoyed it. Now first off i will say the game needs some work, but not much really. a few words need some spell checking here and there (although not many its somewhat rare and the ones that do you can understand) and ive only ever come across 2 bugs the first which ive only encountered once is after killing an enemy you get locked into the screen and you can only use the charicter you killed them with to interact but after trying to do so it doesnt work anyways, however its an easy fix i exited the game and went back and the creature died instantly. the second one doesnt happen very often but can be a bit irritating, after an encounter on occassion the loot thats dropped wont appear and your forced to move on and take the money for it. Other than those minor bugs and spelling errors its definitely worth the price for a lil dungeon crawler. I play this alot when im on a trip and my only option is non-performance taxing games and this is great for that. fighting is well balanced and it has a new-game+ option if you continue on to the end of the labryinth, overall its pretty good but i would like to see the devs fix those minor issues.
Very nice game. (turn-based, party advancement, different loot levels). The holiday special suprises are fun.

For a text based game, I would firstly suggest using a spell checker on the text. In character selection screen there was already multiple uses of the word "weild" (rather than wield).
The text in the game is quite basic and didn't give a sense of atmosphere. In addition in the 1 hour I played I kept seeing the same room descriptions come up again and again. I would have expected a text based game to have many versions of 'monsters in a room' but they all said the same 'A wave of hostility hits you as xxxx'.
Combat is reasonable for turn-based. Some strategic options about silencing spell casters, focusing attacks on your tanks (since no rows, everyone stands at the front including archers), healing your characters etc.
Skill trees seem quite limited. 4 main abilities in a class that can be unlocked and then upgraded a couple more times, and then points put into passive abilities. The game is going more for many classes than particular customisation of one class.
Loot is reasonable, but simple. Very often you will find weapons that do double the damage of your previous weapon (although perhaps that changes once you progress more floors down).
I realise this is early access - but comments by dev in September say it is close to full release.
As a suggestion, I would say the Dev needs to spend $50 of hiring a freelance writer from a freelancer platform to write tons of nicely written variations of room text to give a sense of atmosphere and reduce the sense of repetition.
The game needs more room-types and content in general to be good. I quite enjoy it. Picking warriors over mages really matters. I feel positive about the future content. Replayability is high even now.
However, there are two negative aspects of the game. You can simply overrun AI that it can never reach you and kill your squad at all. I did it. Even when I fought the boss, it killed all my fighters including me and then, my warrior Damon took one on one on this boss. Damon won easily. That's a sort of a balance issue, which can be easily repeated if you get experience gain boosting item early in the game or some damn good roulette results. Another problem connected to balance is at the start, where if you fight twice against 3 enemies and after that boss comes, the opposite happens. You don't stand a chance.
Second negative aspect I can not stand by is that you can play this game for free on armorgames with all content included. I believe they should have some sort of limited acess to the game. I don't like to pay for what is free.
All in all, the game is good and developer still works on it. As it is early acess, both negatives can be erased or fixed and I look forward to the future development.
The game is very good so far. It has nice interactions between your characters' spells and many different choices along the way. The auto-generated loot is solid too.
It's a good value for the money, and I can see it growing well through early access.

This game has potential and places to grow and branch out, from different monster types to abilities. I was always a fan of these minimalistic game designs that just let you pass the time without having to stress over it.
At first the game seemed like a handful, lots of information but it turned out more simple and fluent in its controls than it seems. Sure its clunky and has some bugs, but is it worth its price? Sure it is! And if you still doubt if you want to buy it check it out on one of the many websites that its on for free!
I personally found the game interesting enough and wanted to support the developer, but its honestly not the greatest of them all. I give it a nice solid 8/10, even though my opinion only matters to me :)
What a nice little game!
I am very pleasantly surprised at just how much fun this little dungeon romp is!
I like the loot system, I like the combat system, and I like the simplicity of the game play.
This isn't to say that there aren't choices to make. There are tons of choices, each of which have a strong impact on your parties' success.
Really, really good game for the money...and one that I just cannot recommend highly enough!
The Labyrinth in a Game where you go in and create a team in which you would go into a dungeon and attempt to make it to the bottom. Its fairly easy (I have played it on hard mode) and there are many different possibilities for the room to be. Overall its a fun game and I'll be putting more Hours into this and There can be so much more in Future updates.
