While combat can become repetitive in longer sessions, the overall mechanics deliver a satisfying experience. Gameplay earns a solid 8/10.
The narrative is a highlight of the game, centering on the adventures of Gu Yuexuan and his companions during a turbulent period of martial arts rivalries. The story offers depth and intrigue, with multiple quests and character-driven arcs that keep players invested. The narrative framework is well-executed, earning it an 8/10.
Graphically, the game uses a stylized art direction that effectively conveys the wuxia theme. While not visually groundbreaking, the character designs and environments are detailed and immersive. Graphics score a 7/10.

Hit a soft-lock during the tutorial fight, I moved my last surviving character and then my turn should have ended, but didn't. The English translation was also much rougher than I expected. Refunded.
