Об игре

- 8 режимов игры. Хочешь провести дуэль с другом? Напечатать случайный текст или отточить мастерство на фиксированном в течение дня отрывке из книги? Или может быть числа? Выбери свой путь из восьми режимов: Duel, Duel Hard, Classic, Fixed, Marathon, No Mistakes, No Mistakes Hard, Numbers.
- Языковые Лиги. Ты можешь выбрать язык, на котором будешь печатать. Сейчас в игре две лиги: Английская и Русская.

Who the hell is Edgar?
Not sure if it helps me type faster but it's sure fun.
A really fun typing game that I wish would still get updated (last one in 2017).
I would love to see more language options and more literary extracts, not just of British or American literature, but of other countries as well. Expand thy literature culture! Maybe have a workshop where people can add their texts to download, that would lighten the workload for the devs.
Multiplayer is pretty much dead, maybe have an option to play against someone but not in real time, and seeing the results when both parties have played their turn. It's a shame I can't unlock the characters that require winning multiplayer matches when there's no one playing.
And it would be nice to have some female characters seeing as there are none at all (you have, however, Cthulhu and a cow hm).
Other than that, I love playing this little game once in a while to test my typing skills (got an average of 380~ CPM) and I enjoy reading the excerpts even if I've never read the books.
Hope the devs can add more stuff to this soon as there is still a lot of potential!
This takes me back to the days of typing class in high school, and to the sounds of students clacking away on keyboards, cursing over misspelled words as our professors breathed down our necks, while the clock slowly ticked down the hour of our lives trapped there...
If you don't mind anxiety, then it's a good way to pass the time and practice on your writing.
I enjoy this game, played around 5 hours so far. It is very challenging, I find a little frustration with the input, I seem to make more mistakes here than I do places such as typeracer or 10fastfingers. I do however have one suggestion that would make gameplay better, since it's arranged where we read from a paragraph and enter 1 word at a time when we type, if you could make "ctrl+a" available to highlight the word incase we make a mistake, so that we can just re-type the word instead of having to press Backspace 5x or 6x times in order to correct our mistake, this would be more realistic (since in reality in messengers, writing in notepad, or even on web pages, we can hold Ctrl and press backspace to erase entire words and type them again, and in typeracer and 10fastfingers we are allowed to press "Ctrl+A" to highlight the entire word and re-type a new one instead of using the dreaded and practically useless Backspace. The only time I would prefer using the backspace is if I have made a mistake at the end of a word, in which case, it would make sense to backspace the final 1, 2, or 3 letters instead of highlighting an eight character word just to re-type all 8 characters. I type 139 wpm on 10fastfingers (max wpm) and 183 wpm on typeracer (absolute max). bit.ly/2uhepgn You can view my typing abilities here if you're questioning the legitimacy of my review. It also needs more willing players in the community to play in multiplayer mode, I usually cannot find a multiplayer match on any typing game on Steam maybe have a give-away and give it away for free through a certain time period to get more active players playing to make things more interesting. If you're reading this review and interested in playing me, feel free to add me on Steam.
It's good, and intense. Very nice to compete with your friends once in a while. Don't get much gameplay out of this, but its worth it.
Simple yet really good game. I need this to practice my typing and this is exactly what I need.
Love it.
Cute idea, cute premise, but it's not really enough to keep me interested. 15 minutes and I'm bored. (And before you point fingers...I LIKE typing! I'm an author!)
Pros
-I got to kind of read classic novels while typing at the same time
-I learned that I type real fast (Thanks, Obama!)
Cons
-I got to kind of read the SAME classic novels over and over
-Multiplayer is nonexistent
A very simple, but fun game!
However, a lot of the excerpts seem to be from about five different books altogether, I must have typed excerpts from Herman Melvilles book at least five times now, two-three times from Dracula... About once or twice from Jane Austen etc.
Why is there for example nothing from William Shakespeare? Or Beowulf? Or Le Morte D'Arthur? Or H.P Lovecraft?
Or why not get into more modern writers like Ernest Hemingway or J.D Salinger?
And I would get REALLY happy if we could get excerpts from really modern writers like Stephen King or J.K Rowling.
Also, you could add some poetry. Like how about William Blake or Edgar Allan Poes poetry work?
And other language leagues would also be perfect, trying to type in french or swedish could be fun!
This a wonderful game that demands more attention. I would sit in a multiplayer match, and wait endlessly, minutes would pass by and no one would join to play a fun little game with me. Much of that, is not the game's fault, but more so of today's society and their interests. I don't think anyone of this newer, more digital native generation is going to sit down and play a typing game. Especially not the adolescents and prepubescent children all right. Maybe adults might, but even they would have to think about work the next day.
This game's only focus is typing, which is wonderful in that aspect. What I don't like about it is how it beeps and glares a red light the moment you make a tiny little error. Examples of this are: forgetting to press space, punctuation, or just the slightest mispress of a key.
Despite this, I still really like this game and hope more people will come to appreciate this game for what it is.
A must-buy for every typewriter aficionado, though multiplayer seems to be dead *sigh*
Wishlist:
- contemporary texts (there's enough free to use stuff out there)
- other languages
[*] local profiles and highscore lists (to get a feeling of improvement and to prove that you can type faster than your wife)
A great game to play at work when I have a downtime and can't leave the office. It keeps my hands warmed up and I also get to learn a few excerpts from famous writers.
Great Game. Allows you to better your typing skills at numbers and a random assortment of varying types modes. It has a matchmaking to challenge other players online.
It's alright if you're interested in practicing your touch typing skills,
should probably be cheaper tho.
