This game is a lot of fun. Now I will say this is my first adult gay dating sim. But I really was shocked the story was cute and even though it's smut like it was really heartwarming to watch them actually fall for each other. I did the Phillip route of course. It was hot and super romantic. Love it! I want another entry with even more guys to date.

As a cisgender gay male living in a country that's not the USA, this game has absolutely nothing to say to me. It caters to a limited audience of white middle class men that live a life without hardships.
I guess I was expecting too much. This is not a RPG, after all.
I prefer a more realistic simulation, like The Sims.

There's just something about this game that feels honestly cringe. It has this particular 'gay-redditor over 30 who's tired of hookup culture and wants love but also wants an open relationship' vibe to it but in an unironic way (while kind of failing at that too). The writing is just... you can't ignore some of the men and at that point, there really isn't agency with your choices.

So I’m gonna blame it on the alcohol. I had so much fun on this game and it was kind of crazy. I was streaming it from my group. Definitely play this when drunk
GAY VERY GAY, WOULD PLAY AGAIN
Spent some time playing through 2 routes (Brad and Fish) - there will be some spoilers in here
- The writing was surprisingly good, it had it's moments that actually made me laugh. There was this one moment during Brad's route that I was actually cringing from embarrassment and had to get up and walk around the room before continuing (which I think is a good sign)
- The character designs could have used some polish, ESPECIALLY for body hair (and Ian's hair) One of the reasons I picked the jock dude, Brad, was because his model had the least amount of design issues (body hair was placed a bit weird for him too but it's whatever).
- The roommates are well written, Penny is a great character. Ian is alright at times. There's a choice where you can steal something of his, and there's literally zero consequence with him finding out.
- There are a LOT of choices that don't matter.
- The game's roster is like super white. You can go on grindr-esque dates and that has a bit more diversity, but those only last for like a 15 minute story with a CG scene.
- Doesn't really seem to be issues of rampant homophobia in this universe which is nice to see (Can't speak for other characters though)
- It's incredibly easy to fail a romance, but the routes are also pretty short (about 2 hours each one probably) Brad's was horribly balanced as far as easy failures go. I had to look up why Brad kept failing his essay and locking me out of the route entirely. It turned out it was because I didn't pick one single option that doesn't really make sense in-context with zero ability to recover from that. Bad design.
- The CG images are generally off-model (probably drawn by a different artist) which makes them relatively uncanny. There were some pretty well written spicy scenes though (at least for Brad). I do have to admit at times they got pretty hot.
- I felt bad because I usually end up picking a jock character in these types of games, and I wanted to try not to this time. Unfortunately, the writing really made every other character seem boring or insufferable (one of the guys is fresh out of the marines and makes fun of "civies"). There's probably depth given to all of them that makes them better, but there needs to be an initial intrigue that goes beyond "they're hot" writing wise. The jock was the only one who started the route as a decent (yet lost) dude, that I felt deserved some help; I won't lie that him being hot influenced a bit though. There were two other guys I didn't get the chance to meet before I was locked in with Brad though.
- The jock character's story was really sweet, but the game is far too short to make it compelling. It kind of goes a little too perfect. You help him study, he is closeted but friendly, then very suddenly is totally comfortable engaging with you as if he's been an out gay man the whole time? Not really that believable, but I wouldn't mind reading a much longer form story of the main character and the jock guy though. They're likeable in my eyes.
- There's a route where you spend all your time inside your dorm and talk to your fish and then you go crazy and the fish tells you to try and kill your roommates? A weird tonal choice that was funny for like 3 seconds but just felt weird and out of place.
For a game made in 2014, it holds up surprisingly well. not sure if it was worth $15, but whatever. Definitely made me feel like crap about my dating life, so I view that as a +1 for this game's overall design.

So much fun. Lots of choice options and endings and hidden gems. Great art, great music, fun dialogue, fun characters, fun story lines, hot guys. I really enjoyed playing!
My initial run was vanilla and meh as I initially didn't connect with any of the main characters, but this game shone through with the surprisingly wacky scenarios as I moved on to different routes. Some scenes that I loved: that the character broke the fourth wall, the endless cycling loop on the way to Amos' house, the fact that my character could (accidentally) die in more than one way, that rendition of 'House of the Rising Sun', and of course the bizarro situations involving Slurpy. These offbeat scenes motivated me to explore different routes despite initially being uninterested in some romance characters, and I found myself attempting to collect them all. An overall fun time worth the price.
Not a game but an interactive graphic story, I nevertheless loved this...game. The trials the poor protagonist experiences coming out and just trying to get laid are pretty accurate! It's charming and laugh out loud funny at times. If there is a downside, it's that the excellent writing made me identify with the character to such an extent that their final conquest(s) (I got the football player) so thoroughly exceed reality it made me reflect negatively on my own life. Oh, well. After finishing the game I explored other story lines and found there is a wide array of markedly different paths through the game with completely different conclusions, which is great. The choices made in the game actually mean a great deal to the game's evolution.
Hot AF
I was ashamed, having 50+ hours on this game but I saw someone have 600+ hours on record. I now feel better about myself.
