About the Game
Help wanted!
We at Beast, Inc. have our hands full raising a litter of cute baby dragon pups and need your help to keep them active and entertained.
Featuring 5 cheeky small dragons who:
- Love cuddles
- Are prone to destruction (but there’s no cleanup in VR!)
- Will fight over snacks
- Need socialization and exercise
With 4 areas to explore:
- Beast Park: A sunny park where the dragons can zoom about.
- Winter Park: A glowing ice cave where dragons can unleash destructive energy.
- Dragon Den: A cozy tree hollow where tired dragons can get some zzz’s.
- Peaceful Park: A smaller park with a relaxing atmosphere.
And 5 different play modes:
- Treasure Hunt: Find treasure chests, each containing a magic gem or item with a unique power.
- Mystery: Discover a different assortment of toys and activities each time.
- Free Play: Toys and treats are scattered about so you can get to playing with dragons ASAP!
- Foraging: Feeding time! The dragons are hungry and need your help collecting food.
- Petting: For when all you want to do is play with dragons with minimal distractions.
Dragons get bored easily, so we have to keep adding new stuff to keep them entertained. New activities and discoverables are coming soon to the existing regions, so keep an eye out!

This game is adorable.. Played it for a bit, but my 9 year old took over and LOVES it
This appears to be a simple, goofy little game. i've not played it personally just watched it on a side screen while my kids were in the background playing it on VR. doesn't really appear to have an purpose or reasoning to it..... just a "fun" play with the baby dragons feel.
regardless of the lack of actual content, the kids seems to be thoroughly immersed
i think its very entertaining! i love the physics of the dragons and how small they are! this game could be great for children and adults, and i cant wait to see what comes next! :D
This game is great for family VR experiences or those of us who just want to chill out while playing with cute little dragons. The developer is only getting started, so there's great potential for features like accessorizing, care taking, environments, etc. I believe a training mode is being worked on at the moment. I'm excited to see how this game evolves.
This game is great for young kids. By that I mean my 6 yo daughter.
As an adult, it kept me entertained for about 10 minutes.
The controls took only a few minutes to work out, and there's not too much motion, nor too much text on menus, which has encouraged her to read the menu herself.
Whilst the content is light on, she really seems to enjoy it. I put this down the the way the dragons are interactive and respond to her actions. This supports the way she has imaginative play with her stuffed toys.
She does stuff like:
- makes up names
- feeds her dragons
- pets her dragons
- playing throw/fetch
- tells the dragons off for bad behaviour like stealing food
When playing shes constantly chatting to the dragons.
I'd love to see stronger personalities show up.
For example dragons wanting particular props more than others, and a little more interacting between the dragons.
I can see a lot of potential in this game. I would love ability to change colors of your dragon.
Right now the game doesn't offer much anything. I had seen and experienced everything in 1 hour. Dragon lose interest so quickly if an object goes too far or they can't grab it. If I throw a ball they will not chase it until they catch it and it would be nice to choose which dragon I want with me in the map. Hopefully we'll see beautiful and mysterious maps later.
I would also prefer small action like chasing evil rodents who eat dragon's food, scoreboard for how many times your dragon can catch a ball. Something to get me and my niece more addicted to the game.
Wow! Let me start by saying that for the last year, I worked in what could be called a high tech arcade. We featured a number of VR stations there, and I watched people playing Beast Pets that entire time. I ended up leaving the arcade before being able to try the game (the stations were only on when customers came in, which is when I left for the day), but since I had watched enough people try it, I felt like I had a pretty good grasp of the gameplay -- cute and light. When I saw it hit the Steam store, I was curious to finally play it. I'm more of an FPS/RPG kind of gamer, so I wasn't sure how much I'd be playing it. Well...it's really fun!! There's an immersive aspect to interacting with little AI's in VR that completely changes the experience. For example, while playing Skyrim, you get to have little companions. You interact with them a bit, they follow you around, and that's basically it. But when you're in VR, it actually feels the same as when I'm playing with my puppies. These little guys can fetch, follow a laser, and interact with the environment. There are places for you to explore, and each location offers something unique for the dragons (and you) to play with. And speaking of the environments, they're really pretty! The art style is low-poly, and it works perfectly to create ambiance while allowing you to interact with your new pets. The creators came up with some really clever conventions for interaction that make the experience smooth and hassle-free. This game is great for everyone, and I promise you it's absolutely worth your time.
My kid absolutely loves this this game! He was a beta tester but we still purchased the game on day 1. It's a wonderful sandbox-style world where you get to play with little pet dragons using all sorts of toys. He especially loves the glowing orb of light that the dragons will follow.
