Bendy has a decent story, but the frustrating bugs and repetitive gameplay make it hard to fully enjoy. The puzzles and scares are okay, but the lack of polish is a big downside.

The story line, graphics, attention to detail, man I can't get tired of playing this game! It's the perfect amount of horror without it feeling too quick all the time like some other horror games. This game is 100% worth it and there's perks to do the second run through keeping the interest top tier!
Well, it was pretty cool. I'm not going to say it was the most fantastic game I've ever played, but it certainly didn't suck. As I look online, it looks like there's some kind of culture built around this game maybe - it seems, based on some stuff I've read on the internet, that you can be a 'fan' of Bendy series without ever having played it? Is this some kind of weird YouTube thing like FNAF where everyone knows about it without ever having played it? Lol, no idea - I imagine this game will have a lot more appeal to the people already into it, but since I wasn't aware of it before, you're getting the opinion of someone walking in fresh.
In Bendy, you play as Henry, one of the animators of some weird Mickey Mouse/Minnie Mouse/Goofy spin-off. You are in a strange, dark world filled with ink, demons, horrors, and bizarre scenery.
The big appeal of this game is the art and graphics - despite being in 3D, everything has a 'sketched' look to it, which is pretty darn cool. Although the monotone yellowish-blackish gets a little tiring, the art in this game is pretty great, for being meant to resemble sketch art. That was probably the aspect I enjoyed most - the scenery.
Your goal is to escape. You'll wander through the world, completing various tasks and trying to find a way out. The 'puzzles' are not difficult at all - beginner level stuff, so don't expect much of a brain challenge. The main frustration comes from a couple of the boss encounters/running away from bad guy scenes, in which you might die over and over. Some of them got pretty frustrating - especially given that instead of just re-spawning, you have to walk down a dark tunnel of ink towards a bright light in order to respawn. So, it takes time each time you die. However, I made it through, so obviously it's 'do-able.'
I did enjoy the 'story,' such as it was. It didn't strike me as incredibly deep, and I wasn't really 'moved to my core' or anything, but it was a decently fun story. Meant to be a horror game, there isn't a whole lot to be scared of - there are a couple minor jump scares, some monsters, some bizarre imagery, and so on. It really won't shake you to your core, once again.
Art/graphics I loved. Music fit the game, sound effects were pretty darn good, atmosphere was unique and enjoyable.
Worth full price? Hmmm. Maybe, maybe not. I only played 5-ish hours to beat it, so full price is four bucks an hour. The atmosphere, art, and world were very engaging, but still, four bucks an hour is a decent chunk. I got the entire series on sale, and I have seen the series go on sale from time to time. I would say, if you're quite interested in this game, it's probably worth the plunge; if you're not 100% sure, just wishlist it and wait. I think some people will be happy paying full price; I think some people might not.
At any rate, great game, I had a lot of fun, and a little bit of frustration. Loved the art. Great to play through, especially if you can get it on sale.
Genuinely a pioneer of Indie Horror. I've never cared of horror games but my love for old cartoons made me curious, so years ago I got this game when it was still just two chapters. I got hooked on it for years! Its such a great concept even to this day. If like old cartoons or horror, you'll probably like this.
its amazing, its changed alot from when i first played it when i was younger, but obviously for the better, the story is amazing. tho i had to have the quality way down for it to work for me the graphics where amazing even with low quality setting on, and like i said the story is so compelling and fit seamlessly together through out the chapters, tho the ending was in my opinion slightly underwhelming but still satisfying. the game has a way to compel the player to feel remorse for the unlucky beings in the game, and a way to keep the player on their toes and make them work for the way out, and never revisited a specific type of puzzle or enemy too much, nothing felt repetitive and made me always looking forward to and dreading the next chapter. it also makes it easy to get you attatched to certian characters. but all in all it is a masterpiece of a game and im so glad i revisited it
There was one glaring massive issue with this game... there was only 5 chapters. Genuinely an incredible experience I was there was more. I've known bendy for years but only played the game recently, for some reason, the concept, style and story has always stuck with me and been one of my favourites in horror games
This is an awesome game that puts a spin on a sorta evil Disney, and the design is cartoony adding to a ink and paper feel.
No achievements, how do I get them, I literally got all the stuff for the lever then flow.
I'm deeply conflicted by this game. It's a visual triumph. They make it creepy as hell without relying on jumpscares. The controls are slow and awkward. I think it's deliberate, like when you're trying to run in a nightmare, but barely move. It would make a great movie, but it's pretty rough as a game.
I feel like the best way to experience this game is to watch someone else play on YouTube.
The hiding mechanic feels really random. Sometimes, it happens when you happen to be near a hiding box and it works. Other times, there's nowhere to hide, and you're just going to get killed for no reason.
It's a great game with interesting lore, visuals, and music! The whole world looks like a cartoon and it looks generally amazing, being very unique on its own. The music is amazing, adding mystery and character to the world, and references to fan songs in the radios! The lore is interesting, as an abandoned studio with ink flowing through the walls and answers to mysterious disappearances, all tied to the title of the game.
But the game does have some flaws. You can't properly fight without being hit, leaving you in an endless cycle of smack and step back. Chapter Three is a bit boring, leaving you as an errand boy.. and chapter 5 has a looong cutscene. I could go into more detail, but ehh..
Overall, this game is fun, and unique! I'd personally recommend this game, even with its flaws.
Very good and solid game, though at times it can get a bit repetitive with the amount of fetch quests. The combat can also be a bit iffy, but those are really the only problems I have with the game that aren't minor nitpicks. Although the ending's story is a bit hard to follow, I still think the whole story is great and overall holds up well
Concept: You play as a character named Henry who is invited to the studio he worked at by a friend of his named Joey. You explore through the studio to figure out what happened there and how to escape it. 4/6
Lore: The studio had either created or found a machine that can create creatures made of ink. Because the studio had financial troubles, it decided to use these creatures as a basis to create a some shows about a character named bendy, based off the first creature summoned from the machine. Eventualy, the founder of the studio, joey, and a man named Sammy Laurence went insane, thinking that these creatures were like deities, so they made sacrifices for the demon, turned some people to ink monsters, and even turned themselves into ink monsters. 6/6
Mechanics: In the game, you mostly explore the studio and solve puzzles, but there are occasional moments when you get to fight off some monsters with weapons. Sometimes these fights are boss fights, which are very fun, even the when you don't have weapons, like the final boss in chapter 5. There is also a mechanic with a device that can show invisible ink on walls, which is rarely used, but was interesting while it lasted. 5/6
Visuals: The art style of the game makes everything except the characters look like they are made of paper, which looks pretty cool for some reason, The designs for the characters also looks pretty cool, and makes the creepy characters look even creepier, like evil Boris in chapter 4. +1
Controls: You can use either the WASD or arrow keys to move, you use the mouse to look around, You use the E key to interact, you can use the left click to attack (When you have a weapon), and the right click to activate the device that allows you to see the invisible ink. I like games that have E as the interact button because it is close to the WASD keys, and it goes very nicley with games that are first person. I like that both clicks on the mouse are used because, again, it is very useful to have those buttons for attacking in a first person game. +1
Final remarks: BATIM is a great game for horror game fans for it has a lot of great lore, and is very fun to play in general, with uniwue boss fights and fun puzzles. Total score: 85/100.

People, a bug happened to me when I was on the Alice Angel mission, I left the game and entered it and then when I collected the last ink heart it didn't go to the part where it was supposed to return to Alice Angel and every time I close and open the game it gets bugged in the Tommy Gun part and when I press it it gets bugged and I can't pass the mission.
A pretty decent indie horror game. I think we need more games like bendy and poppy playtime. Overall good storyline and nice gameplay. Devs could have put more effort in puzzles and more. 8/10 and Feeling bad for Boris 😔

I very much enjoyed the game, and I highly recommend it, That is if the development team fixes the fight with Brute Boris. 5 times in a row the game has crashed, Leaving me to restart all over, which means closing the game and restarting. Each time round it takes 10 minutes to get back to the fight in which the crash bug happens again.
Game was a quick play through, but was really fun and scary at times.

Chapter 3 glitch, I have to restart the whole chapter. I got to Alice Angel and was collecting hearts, I hid from projectionist in a miracle station, I couldnt get out, I quit game, I come back, said I had 5 hearts, okay now I go try to put them in the drop box, doesn't work, checks google, unfixable glitch and I have to restart chapter 3. This glitch supposedly has not been fixed since 2018. I simply cannot put into words how frusturated I am, thanks a lot developers.
It was fun but kinda frustrating at points was cool watching this game go from just a short chapter one to a full game.

One of the most beautifluy desinged games i have ever seen game play maybe isnt great but the story and art and boris makes up for it. cant wait to play dark rev if its half as good as this im gonna be happy. 10/10 woud reccomend to evryeone and with that i still cant reccomend it enough this game makes me think that Dreams come true

So yeah, it was cool.
This game is fun to play a few times! Chapter 3 is quite notorious for how boring it is, really, it is the most boring part of the game. Other than that, the game is actually really good! I hope other people will enjoy it too :)
I honnetly forgot how good this game was. i re-installed for the achievements, but i ended up playing the game again twice.
it is a good indie game, you can expect a short story and some minor bugs, but it is one of the best of it its kind. good story, sometimes fustrating but good gameplay, and a great design. i would recomend to at least try if ur in to game-art.

Conclusion: honestly really good game that deserves a chance, its pretty old but still feels good and scawy.
Bendy and the Ink Machine is a very fun, and scary game. I loved watching SuperHorrorBro, Dantdm, Markaplier, and Jacksepticeye play this game. If you want to play a fun and scary game with interesting lore behind it. Then this is the game for you. :D
This game has nice lore, storyline, and character plot, and also nice scares and jumps scares, along with easter eggs, and secrets. I first heard of the game from watching Fgteev play one of the early accesses, and it immediately gained my interest, like 10 out of 10, this game is so iconic, and very unique, and different from a lot of mascot horror games. I hope this game gains even more love in the future, and I recommend this game entirely. :3

I love Bendy, I've been a fan since the alpha days, BatDR is maybe better but this game is still phenomenal.

This game has a very special impact on me. On the surface, it's great, reading between the lines, it hits me psychologically. I would absolutely recommend this game to anyone who likes a story driven horror genre game, mixed with a ... maze?-like environment, and has some satisfying scavenger hunt type 'puzzles'.
Cons: options / epilepsy warning (or related type flashing light triggers)
The only con is there are A LOT of flashing lights effects, so if that bothers you medically or just isn't your thing, even cranking the gamma up to 100% still might make it really hard to play (turning the gamma to 100
does help though for *some improvement though) It wasn't a fix, even with all the required options adjusted to try and help the issue)
The game is old, but if that was a toggle option on the options menu, I give this game a 9/10.

A very enjoyable game, love the art style and the story, the characters are cool too. Brings nostalgia, because I've first watched a playthrough of this game when I was just a teenager, now playing it as an adult really brought back good memories.
Very enjoyable game. Lots of moments the game tricks you into thinking something will happen and it doesn't. But also many...many times it made me yell! Definitely would recommend this game. Looks like a cute and innocent jumpy game but actually quite dark and twisted. Loved it!

Fun and short horror game that I genuinely love.
Yeah, it was a bit of a mess when it was coming out, but I genuinely had a lovely time playing it.
Despite the challenges in chapter 3 that I'm currently facing, the game, so far, is as AWESOME as I remember it being when I watched other big youtubers play it!
Absolutely wonderful art style with an absolutely wonderful story, while game-play can be mid at times and it is pretty short overall I would recommend this series as one of my favorite series of all time.
Amazing game, and a indie classic. Its a perfect game to welcome yourself in adventure horror and if you enjoy it I recomend checking out the sequals or prequals.

I really love this game, i used to play this game when beta bendy was out but the thing i miss is Little Devil Darling, the remasterd is not bad and its good i just prefer diffrent chase music but still a 10/10.
