Its way to easy to hit a home run and I never start in the batters box for some reason. Helps me time my hits IRL though, Need a mode for something like Wii baseball. Do not buy if you are looking for something for actual practice.
This is an extremely limited VR baseball game where all you do is hit the ball. There are only three modes and all of them play almost exactly the same and only last a few minutes each. The so-called "puzzle" mode is a joke because there are no puzzle elements. Again, you just hit the ball. There is also almost no skill required. Just hold your arm out and flick your wrist and you will rocket home runs over the stadium. Ball physics are also practically nonexistent. I could hardly get the bat to aim where the game requires. My hits would almost always pull to the right when batting left-handed and to the left when batting right-handed. There are also no options, so you cannot disable the music that blares the entire time. I cannot recommend this game, but I can however recommend a far better VR baseball experience called Totally Baseball VR.
Not terrible. Good for what it is.
Hit a few balls and get some exercise.
I had really low expectations for this game and somehow it managed to suck even more than I could have possibly imagined. All I wanted was to take a few swings at balls and aim for homeruns in a quirky VR baseball game.
The problem is that it does not play like proper baseball and I don't say this because it's an arcade game in nature. I wasn't looking for a very realistic simulation but the basic element of hitting the balls feels completely wrong. Forget about holding a virtual bat two handed like a proper baseball player. The best way to play this game is to hold the bat one handed and go for swings like you are holding a tennis or badminton racket. The strength of your swings barely matters too. The best ''bat'' to use is actually ping pong racket (needs to be unlocked first), that says a lot about the gameplay. Clearly this is not what I expected out of a game called VR Slugger.
I cannot recommend this game for people looking for a good baseball experience in VR. If you're looking for a collection of tennis mini-games masquerading as a baseball game then this game is for you... but that's quite a niche and even then the game isn't worth the asking price due to the low amount of content.
Final score: 4/10
I've seen enough. Only worth it to buy it during the sale in my opinion.
I found it impossible to play on my Quest 1, but it's quite precise and enjoyable on the Quest 2. I'm changing my review to positive.
Alright so first off do not expect baseball in a $5 game. This is similar to a wii type game but so much better. For the price I have had so much fun with this game. I am a baseball guy and this game shows me that in just a little while they are going to be able to make a baseball simulator that is almost real. I tell you what if you have a kid, this is a great practice tool. Teach them to bunt, it works perfectly. Total eye, hand coordination. I have no doubt that if a 3-5 year old started playing this and then went and played ball with his friends he would be a better hitter than them. You should absolutely buy this game, it is a steal and worth hours of fun for the whole family. Developers, keep going, I want to play a whole game. Also I do wish in batting practice mode they just pitched and let me hit, I will quit when I am done, no goals, just hit everything. Other than that Good Job. Recommended.
+Fun concept
+Cheap on sale
-Short
-Wave shooter in disguise
-Expensive if it's not on sale
-Really repetitive
-Puzzle mode isn't at all a puzzle
2/5
This is okay, it's not great, it's basically a wave shooter pretending to be a baseball batting game. There's 3 modes that are all almost the exact same and the overall game feels unfinished. I'd probably stay away from this unless it's really on sale.

fun, arcade home run derby, nice graphics
it's kind of difficult to get used to, get it on sale
very good. fun and polished. Not too easy.
Definitely not worth $12, as you can experience all the game has to offer in 30 mins or less. It is also extremely easy (balls are huge, bat is huge, pitches are always strikes). If you're looking for a more difficult, more realistic batting practice simulator, check out Big Hit VR Baseball.
That being said, it's not trying to be a realistic batting simulator, and at this, it does very well. It is an easy, quick, arcade-y hitting game that anyone could pick up and easily hit home runs. The physics work great and it is satisfying to hit those first few bombs (but after a while, it's boring because it is absurdly easy).
Recommend purhcasing for $5 or less. Anything higher, I'd recommend looking elsewhere. Still, a well-made, fun little game that works well.
I'm glad I got this game on the Halloween sale for $5.99 versus the normal price of $11.99. There just isn't tnough to this game to warrant the higher normal price. However, I can happily recommend this game at the sale price.
It's a glorified batting cage with a few different game modes. There's your basic timed attack where you're trying to score as much as possible by hitting as many homers during the alloted time. There's the mode where you're trying to hit the ball in a certain area. There's one where you're facing legendary pitchers.
You can switch your bats to several different items, like a celery stick, etc. All these variations keep the game interesting. And you definitely get different type balls thrown at you, not just fastballs. Still, I wish there was a game simulation type or even a versus mode against another player.
Sale Price Rating 6/10. I would not recommend this game at full price, it's definitely a wait for sale recomendation
Really fun, and great workout. Played with Vive Tracker mounted on a toy bat, it makes the game a lot more immersive
Great fun! One of those games where you say to yourself just one more go, then find yourself still playing an hour or two later. One change I would like is when you hit a time extension after your time has ran out it should count and let you continue. It's happened to me a few times when I've hit the ball and midflight the time has ran out even though I hit a time extender with that hit. Just a minor annoyance though... In my first few games I made the mistake of trying to smash the ball hard every pitch - my shoulder is still sore the next day.
Would dislocate my shoulder again.
The best vr baseball game I've played yet!!
