Fight of Gods

Fight of Gods is a fun game with great character design and an interesting crossover of mythologies.
That being said, the con is that once you have completed a fight it feels as if you have already explored the whole game in my opinion.
Still, I found it to be interesting

this game is fucking goated and i'm not joking even a little bit in the slightest. /srs

It's alright, but it's definitely not what I expected. There are four different attacks. light, medium, heavy, and grab. from the characters I played it seems like every character just has the same four inputs. It makes it easy to learn the characters I guess, but I think it would be cool if the inputs actually did something different depending on if you use a lighter or heavier attack, but instead it just makes the move go a slight bit further. I think the way they did it with Jesus' down forward attack is fine, but the other inputs could be better. And the super attack seems to be the same every single time. it's just down forward down forward attack. I also wish there were other moves you could do in the air, but it just seems like you only have 3 options. Another small thing I noticed is that if you already have a key set to something, than you can't set a different move to that. It makes sense, however there are two controls, and if you want to use a button on the player 2 side you would have to set each of those keys to something you don't use. Once you get your controls figured out it wouldn't be that bad, but it's still a little tedious. If you couldn't tell by the way I have been wording some of my sentences, I haven't gotten to play with every character, that's why I keep saying "from the characters I've played". I don't think the game is bad, but I think the game is lacking. If the game drops below $5 I might buy it again, but I would rather spend my money on another game.

You get what you paid for with this title. Which isn't always a bad thing. If you wanna play a Poverty Fighter, this is your game.

I really did try to like this game, I really did. But the horrible control scheme and the absurd balance of the game left a bad taste in my mouth. A good try, but I'll wait until the developer gets experience making a more games before purchasing another by them.

Thank you Caddicarus for introducing me to a niche fighting game indie dev who ended up making a FAR better game (Fight of Steel) - but my friends still like this one best.

If you are trying to find a mechanically good game with good strategy and combos, then this game is not for you. If you want a silly game to make Jesus and Santa fight with you friends then this is the game!

This game put Jesus in before Hi Rez Studios could into Smite.
