At this point in time, I can finally say with confidence that the game is complete! And quite good at that. After the massive wreck of Minds Eyes, I was able to gather quite a nice amount of input from a lot of players who have given me suggestions, complaints, and support in creating A Girls Fabric Face. After working for quite a long time, I believe I can say with confidence that this game is a “Proper” horror game. In this game, I focused far more on suspense and adventure than anything else (Aside form the overall story); and I believe that everything flowed very well.
Based on many suggestions and complaints, here are the major differences with this game in comparison to Minds Eyes:
- Added Achievements (9 in total)
- Substantially reduced wandering
- Substantially increased player interaction
- 4 different endings
- Greater performance, visuals, and overall gameplay
- A very immersive environment that will keep you wondering
- A few secrets to the game & a wonderful little Easter egg :)
All and all, I believe that this game turned out a success in my eyes. I have been developing for roughly 5-6 years, and to this date, I can confidently say, this is my best title yet; and I hope you all feel the same way.
As for future involvement with this game, my plan is to involve virtual reality support, and mobile support; but those will come depending on the success of the Windows launch; more information on that later.
To end this long talk, I just want to say thank you to all my supporters! And thank you to everyone that has downloaded this game. I truly do hope you find it enjoyable, and that you solve all 4 endings.

The concept of this game is quite interesting, but I initially gave it a negative review due to some frustrating bugs. I got stuck three times because of issues with crouching. If you mess it up, you can glitch into the walls, and the only solution is to restart. This was definitely a setback, but I understand that this is an older game and one of the first titles from Stanislaw Truchowski, who I think is a very talented developer.
Despite the technical issues, I really enjoyed the replay value in his games. There are multiple endings, collectibles, and even a little challenge in catching ghost pictures, which kept me engaged. In the end, I had a good time and managed to get the game to 100%, so I can say it was worth the effort.
After getting to the first ending I didn't feel any motivation of achieving the rest because even the first one (read: "straightforwardly linear run to escape without any prior knowledge") was just boring enough. Ok, I mean, the horror ambience, screamers and all were not bad, no, but the overall plot wasn't engaging and tbh, didn't present any mystery pleading for itself to solve.
TL;DR: Simulator of multiple walks between two opposite corners of the house with demonstration of disconnected elements of mild horror.

i managed to complete this game, but i'm as clueless as before i started the game.
Amazing to see where it all came from.
This one has a few bugs and doesn't quite nail it like later Turnvex titles but is none the less brilliant.

A Girls Fabric Face (weird name) is a short horror game meant to be played in one sitting. It takes place inside a house that opens new areas as you find new tools or the narrative advances. The house is dark but you're equipped with a camrecorder that has a flashlight, but that's not the only thing you can do with the camrecorder. You can also record paranormal activities as weird things happen around you. There's a % counter that fills as you record stuff, and I guess you'll get an achievement if you manage to record 100% (I wasn't).
It has the usual clichés and tropes of the haunted house setting, but it's fun. It's humble but it's well made and genuinely creepy at times. There are four endings, so there's plenty to play and experiment if you want to see all the content.
Not as good as Inside Depth 6 but it's an older game. Scares were kinda weak.
I got it on sale which is okay.
