King & Assassins is a simple game in which deception and tension are paramount.
One player takes the role of the the tyrant King and his soldiers. His objective is to push through the mob of angry citizens who have overrun the board and get back to safety behind his castle walls.
Before the game, the player controlling the assassins secretly chooses three of the twelve citizens occupying the board. These three will become the would-be assassins!
In every turn, each of the two sides have a certain amount of Action Points at their disposal for the King, his guard and his citizens.
Use the soldiers and their ability to push back the mob as best as you can because assassins lurk among them!
Action, deception, daring coups – King & Assassins has all of this and more to offer the boldest players with the courage to fight this incredible duel!

Interesting concept. I wouldn't make assassin able to move between guards so easily. Although, the game says that it has a "Single-player" mode, it only has two stages for training only. This is not what "Single-player" means. On top of it, doing the "training" keeps telling me i had enough training and i should go play online and create an account which i'm somewhat "pressured" to do so. I am not interested in creating an account. I've paid for the game, i want to be able to enjoy the game and certainly do not want to receive any products publicity of any kind if this is what creating an account means. The game would be good if we would have a single player as promise and had a lot more stages to play on as well as different difficulties (more assassins for instance, use a citizen to make believe he is bad...get some ideas there)... Also, a camera rotation would be better; Top view isn't the best but side view doesn't allow us to see the square behind a building.
Someone said the game was bland, maybe this is what it is. To give an example, 20 some years ago someone came in Starcraft and created a Cat-Mice game, then someone else made it Cat-Mice-Flea game... then a lot of other people came and added variation....I took the map and i've added all the units working out all the units damage, health etc...made it impossible to edit, use cheats, gave 3 cats if there was only one cat player, mice could make svc...etc we could play for an hour in a full 7 players game because it was balanced. In my example, you're at the "cat-mice" version of your game... it is not bad....because cat and mice was nice at the beginning...but you need to polish your game
I don't mind the digital adaptation but the game itself sucks

loads quick, looks nice, simple to learn hard / hard to master
200% recommendation. This game is great fun whether you're playing against online or against the computer. A very rare example of a simple premise that challenges you to think outside the box, vary your tactics and think 4 or 5 steps ahead.
It's not a bad game, but there is also nothing to recommend here. There is no single-player campaign, just a training level. It is an online multiplayer game for one-on-one matches, but multiplayer is dead. It is originally a smartphone-game, while there is a "pass&play"-mode for two players on one phone (screen), but forget that on PC when the opponent is not allowed to see the positions of the Assassins. Anyway, if you don't have a friend to play it with the game is pretty useless. I'm also not convinced about the balance between Kings and Assassins. It's a simple and short casual game, look at the playing times, and certainly not worth the money. Can't recommend it for a price above 0,99 cents.
