HOW DOES IT PLAY?
The recommended way to play Furious Angels is with the mouse: aim, fire with the left button, thrust with the right button and hold your fire to repair. Thats it.You can also use a more familiar twin-stick control scheme with your Gamepad OR Mouse + WASD.
LEADERBOARDS?
Absolutely, but there's a catch: everything will reset the next day with a rank upgrade and new waves, a fresh start.WHAT ABOUT THE UPGRADES?
As you shred the enemy to pieces your ship will transform and upgrade automatically. There are four upgrade stages, each with its own unique weapon. One day.
I will be #1 on leaderboard. One day. One 36 hour day.
Boring and repetative.
ALL THE RIGHT STUFF......do you have the skills to be #1 on the daily leader board? i have had this game along time, i have played it off an on, found it enjoyable, but difficult....not hard to play, .....hard to survive, rounds can end quite quickly, and suddenly, and actually you will die often, and fast, trying to get that top score. your a single fighter craft defending your defenceless mother ship through waves of various enemy combatants whose sole purpose is to either kill you, or your mother ship, it just progressively gets harder and harder, with more and more enemy ships approaching you and your mother ship, getting different ship/weapon upgrades along the way. great game, love it, playing on pc was great...also playing on steam deck, seems to be my favorite lately. but ya, an absolute must have game, very small storage wise, 91 MB installed. get it on sale. Endless fun, and frustration.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED- 9/10 ...ONLY CAUSE THERE IS ALWAYS ROOM FOR IMPROVEMENT!

you he game when your mothership is destroyed - and this can happen very quickly in the later parts of the game when giant ships fire on it constantly
great fun quick game
