Atom Zombie Smasher

Charming little indie game and one of my first games on steam.

One of the most underated fast paced strategy zombie games of all time

Honestly, it's my favourite game in the zombie genre. It is a very cool concept that sadly is not used more often and that is actually managing evacuation efforts and fighting zombies from a government/military point of view. The mechanics of the game are pretty simple but allow for much replayability especially if you use mods such as Ground War. Mechanics are also great for getting into the mindset of so many military officials in the movies and games that simply carpet-bomb the entire parts of the city to get rid of the zombies since you will likely do something similar or be tempted to do it when things start going down. All in all great game that is worth the price

Humorous and a great challenge

One of my favorite games ever. This made me a huge fan of Blendo games.

It's a really fun game with some thinking and some freneticism. It's not a long game for each playthrough (a couple of hours?).
There's an interesting balance between making it really challenging, but giving you the freedom to choose your mercenaries (nightmare = a level 4 outbreak and you've got barricades, landmines and dynamite...) or making it a bit easier but forcing you to adapt to the tools you have.

That's the replayability I had - one good solve of each, but there's other combinations I could have picked if I wanted more variation.

This game is for those moments when you want to commit warcrimes, but international treaties forbid you from doing so, so you take your anger out on zombies

its fun and all. The annoying thing is the randomness of the mercs. sometimes you get fully useless combinations. and that can sometimes ruin a whole game.

Atom Zombie Smasher is a top-down strategy game about evacuating civilians from a zombie infested city.

It is a wonderful game that I recommend you play.
