Game description key-points: skip and don`t look back
Overview: nothing, but better than 1. Let`s call it simply a failed attempt to make something good.
Was really looking forward to playing this game is I loved playing Spore back in the day but sadly it seems this game is not compatible with the Valve VR headset at all. It puts up the title in the VR headset and just hangs there forever, no errors no crash just nothing but the title in 3D space.
I just noticed that a it says a 2m x 1.5m game space is required and I'm not sure if I started the game in that mode or just fixed position but it should at least tell you if there is a problem as opposed to saying nothing at all and hanging.
I will try the game at a later date as they say it will be free in an announcement so hopefully this bug will be fixed. I won't recommend the game at the moment but will update once I can actually play it.
The game's great, I loved the original spore so i just wish they'd make a another or a spore 2... or a spore VR
this is a cool game. its like the evolution games you probably played before, but if not, its pretty simple. eat. then upgrade.
eat fish smaller or weaker, then evolve and place your new appendages? ahh ya know, like a beak or a fin, each giving attack or speed upgrade respectively. theres also skills with certian items. after killing and collecting the parts, you get bigger fish that can hold more parts and such. for instance if you take the eyes off to put more spiky spikes, you cant see lol. well you can but its blurry as mess. cool really. so simple concept, but it becomes more deep as you play and upgrade, with things like ice or toxic sacs on enemys, spikey or armored enemys, even some environmental hazards like jellyfishys.
now, accessibilty, this game runs on rift S. it even has in game controller models.... thank you for that. anyways theres one hiccup, and thats that the left stick is your start button and right is your button to go to evolving screen. easy fix though, if you like me dont want to click the sticks in, you can map them to the A and X buttons, using steam controller configs. there should be a preset one i made at least there, or do it yourself.
there is no turning options, but there is a way to move a bit in the underwater area. sort of a dash teleport. it works fine.
other than that theres not much to it, except eating items and fish.
bought it for 50 cents, and soon it will be free. either of those are really a good deal, becuase i would reccomend this game even at a higher price, i just never found it until now. it was definately well hidden.
so reccomend for sure.
Paid 5 dollars for this game as my son wanted it. IMO, not worth anything. It feels more like a demo for potentional VR buyers and not really a game.
Can not recommend as of now for it gets stuck on the loading screen, and i cannot play. if anyone has any suggestions, i will take them
Basically that stage from Spore but in 3D. Pick it up in a sale.
Hello, this game is entertaining, relaxing and fun. My kids like to play it. They used to be too little to reach some food, so I had to lift them up to be able to reach it. Having a great time thanks.
This is a great game! If you played Spore and miss the starting gameplay then you will be in heaven with this game! Upgrade then guide your creature to success, each level seems to bring a new danger for your little creature. Intuitive controls make the gameplay suitable for most ages.

As many have said, this is a VR version of the cell stage of Spore.
Thing is, it's a *really* stripped down product. Very few body part options, and the enemy and level variety is super limited. Parts unlock but they barely matter. It takes about 90 minutes to finish all the "levels," which are all the same, and there's no story or ending. When you've finished, the only difference is the "Continue" button is missing.
This isn't a $10 game, not even in VR. $2 for a kid toy.
If you enjoy the first evolving stages of Spore (The Maxis game from 2008), you will like this game aswell.
Like most VR titles, it's a pretty short game. I finished it in under 90 minutes.
Graphics are cartoony and convey the Spore feeling.
I forgot where i was, and my Vive cables where really really tangled and i enjoyed myself.
The game is good enough to recomend, if it's on a sale.
Currently I can only play the game for about 15-20 minutes before my neck and shoulders start hurting a lot.
While the game is extremely fun to play, it sucks that I'm moving around so much when I already have back issues. :(
I got this game for free for some reason, it's really good though. There is some neat strategy that can go into designing your fish for combat. The scaling up mechanic is also pretty cool.
Fun concept that really adds a lot to being in VR. A perfect fit!
wohw the coolest
It's a pretty neat game, upgrade your creature, fit it with new parts, make it look horrendous and go out to eat some more horrendous creatures, I like it.
Would like Multiplayer, but other than that. It's a enjoyable game and worth the money.
This game is fantastic. No stuttering (on my GTX970 or my 1080) Fun gameplay. My only real complaint was the boss fights were annoying but you removed them entirely so KUDOS!
Reminds me of that Sega Dreamcast game 'SEAMAN, except this is way more fun. Try it out!
