The collection includes the following six games:
1. Chip 'n Dale Rescue Rangers
2. Chip 'n Dale Rescue Rangers 2
3. DuckTales
4. DuckTales 2
5. Darkwing Duck
6. TaleSpin
All six classic games feature new and improved visuals and include filtering options that replicate a retro look and feel.
This collection also offers new ways to play with Boss Rush and Time Attack modes, each of which encourages time-based gameplay and features online leaderboards. Additionally, a new “Rewind” feature makes these challenging titles more accessible for newcomers, with the option to rewind time and enjoy a swift recovery from blunders. Best of all, the in-game Museum will provide history buffs with a wealth of extras to celebrate the era of the original releases, such as concept art, and music – all lovingly preserved.

A great collection of retro games, the only real dud is Tail Spin, and even then it's still pretty good. It's the only way to legally play these, too, so it's well worth it.
Yes
I grew up with these games and have a soft spot for this old school NES games. This was a no-brainer as a kid who grew up in the 90's.
Good old NES classics. Still playable, still fun.
I dont understand, from the time I bought this game in late 2019 till recently I had no issues playing this game. Now I cant get it to open up at all. This has been going on for at least 4 months now. I've tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it so many times and still get get it to launch. Not sure if Disney pulled it from Capcom or what but very disapointing after having fun playing it for so long up till now.
Ducks, yes ducks in outer space. From the Disney Afternoon. TO THE MOON
We played Rescue Rangers 1-2 in coop mode with 2 controllers, and when the game had to render/manage multiple characters or objects simultaneously (more than 3 enemies, or boss fights) it seriously dropped performance, it just lagged so heavily it made it unplayable.
Otherwise the rewind function is really nice touch, it makes the game more lovable/enjoyable for the not-so hardcore players.
DuckTales 2 is the GOAT
A must have.
Every single game in this collection is a masterpiece on its own, Having all those great games in one collection is just a treat.
I had most of these games as a child on the NES. I did not get very far back then.
Still a lot of fun and I am making progress with the rewind function. I would recommend checking it out, even more so on Deck.
worth a REplay for the Legendary NES Chip n Dales 1 in COOP
even though it Lagged like Crazy Again in Remote play mode*
Great bit of nostalgia!
The... emulator(?) they use has a lot of options for graphics, and a rewind mechanic. I liked it.
Regarding the included games, I only played Chip and Dale Rescue Rangers (which I had as a child and which holds up incredibly well today) and Chip and Dale Rescue Rangers II (which was competently made, but has a different feel to it and I dislike some of the choices). Worth it, I say, even if, like me, you only like one of the games on offer.
I bought this collection , because i played those games a long time ago and they are great but on steam the collection will not start. I updated all my drivers , start the game and steam as admin and verified the game data and nothing worked. Great games but 100% refund . It´s just sad.
Duck Tales' "The Moon" theme is the best video game soundtrack ever made !
Prove me I'm wrong !!
This is a collection of six of the best platforming games on the NES. Capcom had a knack for creating simple, charming and challenging platform games in the early 90s and these games are a fantastic showcase of everything the company did right. While the games are overly simplistic, they often have nuanced bits of challenge in them that require a little bit of effort to figure out. I like that the game includes controller instructions and the time attack mode and overall presentation is great. To rate each game on here individually:
Darkwing Duck: This is the hardest game of these six and one of the most fun to play. Darkwing Duck moves very slowly so you really have to play strategically to win. My only main gripe with the game is the powerups are pretty much useless. The boss fights are great, in particular a mole boss who you have to figure out how to kill by knocking out one of his flame launchers and shooting at him as he tries to repair it. This game feels a lot like Megaman and also the NES version of Batman- 8.5/10
Tailspin: This one is a hidden gem that I simply wish took a little bit more time and effort to master. While it's definitely flawed, the ability to flip the plane around and fly backwards, sometimes scrolling the screen back with you, is very impressive for the time. I found this game super hard when I was younger and gave up on it, but on a replay I found it too easy. It's just very daunting in the first few levels until you collect enough money to power up your weapons and progress- 8/10
Ducktales- Probably the most well known game in this collection and an absolutely classic platformer- the music is probably the best on the NES. Particularly the Moon and Transylvania level themes. It's also kind of cryptic and takes some effort to figure out, but once you know how to play it it's very easy and can be finished in under 15 minutes. I just wish the bosses were harder. 9/10
Ducktales 2- This is probably the best one on here for a young kid to play today as it's very intuitive. You can play it two ways, by either collecting the map pieces along with the hidden items or just rushing and killing the bosses. The latter method will let you finish the game in about twenty minutes. The bosses are for the most part way too simplistic and while the game has some crafty mechanics it's much more forgettable than the original- 8/10
Chip 'N Dale Rescue Rangers- Easily my least favorite of these games- it has a unique mechanic of throwing boxes or hiding under them. The level designs aren't terrible but unfortunately the only way the devs could create artificial difficulty was to have the enemies run at you and jump at random along with box the player into a corner (You can hide in the box to negate this but I didn't know it until the end of the game). The boss fights are a mixed bag- the final boss attacks you with his cigar by throwing ashes at you from behind a desk- he doesn't even move. It's probably the most pathetic final boss on the NES - 7/10
Chip N Dale Rescue Rangers 2- Much improved over the original- maps are way more interactive and the boss fights are significantly more elaborate. The first boss is probably the most impressive because it involves moving waterfalls and a lot of tricky mechanics- also the second half of the game taking place in an amusement park is inspired. Final boss is also a lot better, you can actually just dodge him and eventually he will commit suicide with his own bombs. This game is just more polished and interesting - 8/10
