I am 32 years old.
My ex-wife and I have a daughter together, and we adopted our son together. Both are now 4 years old.
When we were going through our separation, I felt lost and unhappy. I was self-destructive. One day, I was so angry with everything spiraling out of control that I punched a concrete wall in a moment of overwhelming emotion. This resulted in breaking my fifth metacarpal in my right hand—the hand I worked with, played games with, and used to carry my children to bed—the hand I desperately needed to ensure I could continue providing.
Upon learning the severity of the self-inflicted damage, I became almost suicidal. Keep in mind that just a few months before this, I was the happiest man, with no history of depression or anxiety. I had never experienced anger outbursts, nor was I the type to break down and cry, but I was in a tough situation that truly prevented me from seeing the light on the other side.
With nothing better to do, I looked for a game I could play WITH ONE HAND while recovering. Somehow, I stumbled upon this game and read some of the comments. I decided it was worth a try... I must admit I didn't beat the game, nor did I play as much as some of you. In fact, I may have played this game for only a day or two. That being said, after doing so, I had a new joy and hope for life. I managed to leave behind the pain and suffering that had been thrust upon me. I could experience the joy and happiness of other people. I relaxed for 5 ♥♥♥♥ minutes listening to this music, long enough to realize that I would be okay.
After realizing this, I turned off the game and went back to work. My hand hurt a lot, but I was motivated. I stopped feeling so sorry for myself and became the father I needed to be at that moment, not the weak boy I was behaving like.
Today, I am close friends with the mother of my children. We don't fight, argue, or say hurtful things to each other. We are parents and friends.
Now I have 3 children. My third child is, wait, ALSO 4 YEARS OLD. The woman I am with was going through a very similar situation at the time of my separation, and we just unexpectedly stumbled into each other's lives. We have been dating for a year and are very happy together.
Moral of the story: you never know what life has in store for you, and if I had given up when all odds were against me, I wouldn't be where I am today. This silly little game helped me realize that.
Thank you.
Sh*tty port of a sh*tty mobile game. It's very obviously balanced around microtransations (read: it's not f*cking balanced AT ALL) and every few levels the AI just blatantly f*cking CHEATS rendering it literally impossible to progress.
What a f*cking ripoff. I've played free flash games that are infinitely better than this.

Store page describes it as a RPG but is more appropriately described as a simple tactical strategy game, where resources are obtained after battles to be used for upgrades and troops.
It is a mobile port and as such has simple graphics, easy and straightforward game mechanics, and is very quick to play and complete.
For the price is a fairly decent game. 6/10
Wood age war
Too grindy and hard in a really bad way. You have to repeat the levels you already beat just to get a little bit of resources to grind for the next level and there is no fast way of doing that.
I like the part where you fight

Got it for trading cards, ended up playing it because it's actually fun.
It took 3 hour to complete the game even less if i try again. Thats the only drawback for this game its short.
But, it was fun to play.
Pros.:
-Loveable graphics
-A fun combat system
-4k support
Cons.:
-short gameplay (but for this price well...i would not expect much more)
I would love to see Stone Age Wars 2 with more content. I don't think it will happen though.
Initial Thoughts
: When I purchased this game, I didn't have much hope for it for the price, but I've been pleasantly surprised by it. It is a brawler game where you set up your formation of different minion types (warrior = melee, hunter = ranged, shaman = healing) on the left side of the screen and fight the computer's minions on the right side of the screen. There levels (individual battles) with every 10-15 levels a boss fight. You win resources with each fight (food and wood), which you then use to recruit more minions, level said minions up, promote them to higher tiers of power, and buy them equipment to use (weapons and masks). For a nice twist, once you beat a boss, you "capture" it and can now recruit it to fight on your side, being able to level it up and so on, as above.Gameplay
: Gameplay is simplistic and casual, but not without depth. Each level will have a best set of minions you can deploy to beat the scenario, and a number of levels have had me switching quite a bit of stuff around and scratching my head for other combinations to use. During each battle, your minions stand there and automatically attack. The primary interaction for you is that each minion has a special power with a cooldown. You can see the minions' special attacks and cooldowns at the top of your battle screen. To activate a power, once it's available, you will be shown a shape that you have to draw with your mouse on the screen. It's not always easy to get them right, but the algorithm for detecting if you have drawn it correctly is quite forgiving. They key to winning is pumping your special abilities out as quickly as you can.Progression
: The game does get quite grindy at times, as this genre of games is want to do. You can go back and play previous levels for ~20% of the original reward, and I've found myself grinding a level over and over, getting those few extra resources to level up for a needed boost to fight that next level. At times, the game feels very simple: I'd like to see some better level design: there's nothing wrong with easy levels, but there was a range of missions in the levels of teens to mid-20s when I won a level with a team and that same team, with no level up or change of equipment, just aced through 8-10 levels without me doing much of anything.Replayability
: None, really. The levels are fixed, so once you've played them, that's it. The inclusion of a level editor and Steam workshop access with a simple SDK would have pushed this to another level and I'd have gladly paid a few extra bucks for that.Graphics and Performance
: There's nothing that will tax even on-board graphics most likely, but the textures are nice, and it has native 4K support. Even at 4K the textures are crisp. Just don't expect anything stunning here. Your minions are mostly static, with a few weapons flying back and forth across the screen. Nothing bad though.Final Thoughts
: It's a great game for some relaxation, and is very much (for me) in the casual gaming genre. I think the price is very much spot-on for value. The game plays very much like a mobile game, and has the same feel. My rating is 3.5 stars out of 5: the game is a solid 3 that occasionally reaches a bit more, but fails to hit any high notes.Fun and easy to learn
This game is way more tough and fun to play than i could have imagined XD
Just remember to try and change your strategy if you see it's not working and you'll have a good experience overall!
Great job! Def worth the full price.
Fun game. It's a little too easy most of the time, but there is a couple that I had to repeat. 8/10
it's a very good game, and can be very tough at times. It has a great balance between difficulty and strategy that feels extremely rewarding when you beat the game. Definitely worth the $3.29
9/10
