This frenetic marble-popping adventure puts you in charge of how fast each level will end. Knock out doomsday devices on each of the 100 levels in the game by matching marble colors in sets of three. To finish off the device and move on to the next round, simply destroy the cleverly-placed static orbs that continually allow additional chains to fill the track. Easy to learn, but difficult to master, this puzzler is nearly impossible to put down!

This game is a childhood video game that i like to play. I hope that big fish games makes an HD remake very soon in 2025. But if they don't, i will change this to 'not recommended'
I went into this game with an understanding that it was akin to Luxor, Zuma, or Sparkle. To that extent, I was correct, in that it has the same core gameplay of matching different colors of balls using a paddle that also shoots those balls. However, I did notice liberties taken with the basic idea, in that there is not a set number of waves, but instead a series of balls embedded in the background that need to be destroyed to stop more waves from coming. Also, you have no "lives" per se, but instead have to retry the level if the balls make it to the end. As for similarities to games of its ilk, you can get upgrades using coins obtained as random drops or from the bonus stages, which do things like increase your ball shooting speed or give you an aimline. There are also powerups that periodically drop, allowing for ease of handling the waves of balls.
While I enjoyed the twists on the standard "marble shooter", these alterations ultimately did not do all that much to hold my interest, and neither did the levels themselves, despite the graphics being decent for the time it was released. After a while, they grew stagnant, as the only things that changed noticeably were the track layouts and placement of target balls. Not helping this stagnation were the dull, metallic backgrounds for each level, causing the experience to "run together" even when playing in short bursts. My biggest complaint, however, is the game not always registering my mouse inputs, requiring me to mash LMB or RMB several times to make a single shot or switch ball colors, respectively. This is not an issue that I have had with any similar game, including the original Luxor (which came out before this game), so I suspect the fault lies with this game's design.
Overall, if you are a fan of Luxor, Zuma, Sparkle, or any other games of this type, it would be better to skip this one, as it makes a valiant effort to stand out, but ultimately lags behind its contemporaries.
This game was my whole childhood, so I'm compelled to leave a positive review.
The color of the marbles you get depends on the color of the control points you can hit. This mechanic is extremely frustrating in later levels if you don't catch on quick, as the marble chains move very fast. This mechanic means the game forces you to continue to split your effort between the control points and the marble chains, rather than focus on only the marble chains and just clear the control points with bombs.
Honestly, plays fantastic on the Steam Deck!

While functional, stable and immersive, it clearly lacks the polish of many other marble popping games of the modern age. For a game in 2006... fine. But this can no longer compete with the likes of Sparkle 2, Zuma's Revenge or the Luxor series.
Great, simple but tactical game. Absolutely deserves more attention.
I love balls
As far Marble Poppers, or Marble Shooters go Atlantis Sky Patrol is a good one, challenging with interesting mini games, an interesting background story, and interesting challenges. The game is only in ED at 800 x 600 with a 4:3 aspect ratio. I wish it would get updated to HD or UHD at a 16:9 aspect ratio. Even so Atlantis Sky Patrol does look good for a game that is only in ED

A pretty decent Zuma clone, though quite easy.
Shows its age by only running in 800*600.
