Campaign

• Two New Campaigns: Play in two new adventures that further chronicle the story of Ashes of the Singularity.
  
  • Memories: See the events of Imminent Crisis from Haalee’s point of view and learn the origin of the Substrate.
    
  • Escalation: Play as the PHC and fight the threat of the Substrate while internal rebellion threatens to undermine your efforts.

Gameplay

• Bigger Games: Wage war with more than a dozen players at once.
  
• New Global View: Zoom out for a view of a strategic map that displays the entire battlefield, providing easier control over large groups of armies.
  
• New Economic System (Substrate): Prevent the waste of resources with unlimited storage for metal and radioactives.

  • Emergency Turret (PHC): Call down a temporary turret to defend a region.
    
  • Sapper (PHC): The Sapper builds small turrets that can harass or trap enemy forces. This can be placed anywhere within your field of vision.
    
  • Serpentine Turret (Substrate): This turret can be placed anywhere in your field of vision and allows you to deploy behind enemy lines or trap unsuspecting units.

• New Worlds: Enjoy exciting terrain and scenery in new maps. Explore dynamic worlds with environmental sounds and cloud cover.
  
  • Crystal Worlds: Travel to alien worlds covered in massive crystal formations

Buildings

• New “Building Upgrades”: Fortify your structures and increase their efficiency with the new upgrade option.
  
  • Barrager (PHC): Upgrade your Smarty Launcher into a building with armor penetrating rockets, increasing its effectiveness against both ground and air units.
    
  • Deadly Annihilator: Shoot endless streams of superheated plasma to destroy both air and ground units with this Annihilator upgrade.
• New Turrets: Up your wargame with new turret buildings for both PHC and Substrate. These will allow you to hold territory, harass enemy lines, and strengthen your defenses.
  
• New Buildings: Take your fight to the air with more advanced aircraft, which can be built at a brand new structure for each side.
  
  • Advanced Sky Factory: This PHC building allows you to build the new Strategic Bomber unit
    
  • Aviary: This Substrate building allows you to build the new Harbinger unit

• New Units: Add to the gameplay dynamic with several new units for the PHC and the Substrate.
  
  • Hera (PHC): Giant tank sporting heavy armor and a powerful gun, useful for holding defensive lines against enemy waves.
    
  • Instigator (PHC): A fast-moving unit that can harass and punish enemies that have spread out too quickly.
    
  • Marauder (PHC): A large hovering gunship used to destroy enemy carriers.
    
  • Strategic Bomber (PHC): A devastating air unit that will destroy enemy buildings in a single large explosion.
    
  • Caregiver (Substrate): Boost the strength of your army and recharge its defenses with this unit.
    
  • Harbinger (Substrate): Fly overhead and lay waste to your enemy’s buildings with this advanced aircraft.
    
  • Harvester (Substrate): A small unit that boosts your economy by increasing the resources gathered.
    
  • Masochist (Substrate): Increase your army’s defenses by detecting and destroying incoming projectiles with this unit’s shields.
    
  • Rampager (Substrate): Destroy large numbers of small units with the Rampager’s weapons.
