Doyle and Agatha Christie and "When They Cry" series.

One of the most famous detectives in the entire state, Knox has yet to stumble upon a mystery he is unable to unravel. Despite his young age, he decisively solved over 100 cases. A prodigy by nature, he rarely puts any effort in his detective work often neglecting it to enjoy cigarettes and coffee.

Blood Type: A
A young and naive detective working on his first case, eager to prove himself. According to Knox he is a narrow minded simpleton sent by the Chief to ensure Knox plays by the book.

Profession: Ex-Soldier 1st Class
Blood Type: 0
Eldest son of the deceased who has just returned from the Second Great War. His intellect and bravery allowed him to prove his worth on the front lines in the Pacific. Being the eldest heir, he is the first in line to inherit his father's fortune.

Profession: Businessman
Blood Type: 0
Well established businessman and a close friend of the deceased. He helped Goldberg create his financial empire during the war. Despite his short temper his charisma makes him beloved by his employees.

Blood Type: AB
The widow of the deceased. Although their marriage lasted very short she claims that she loved the deceased deeply. Ms. Goldberg is a very emotional person that can change her attitude very quickly if provoked.

Profession: Butler
Blood Type: B
The family butler that has served the Goldbergs for decades. Calm and patient man which despite his old age still chooses to work instead of retiring.

A Detective's Novel
Has a total of 5 trading cards.
The story was captivating, and the characters were intriguing, particularly the two detectives. I enjoyed the dialogues. Although there were a few typos in the text, they didn't affect the overall meaning. Also, I appreciated the artwork and the setting.
It's a detective game with beautiful details where your choices give different results, even at a minimal level. There is no sound in the game, in fact the title of a visual novel would be appropriate for this game. I think they conveyed the emotions and thoughts of the characters very well despite the lack of sound. It is a beautiful and interesting game. I can recommend it for those who love this genre
I'm always interested in defective concept, its really exciting to find the killer. Beside my feelings about detectife games, this game like a playable book. Most of the time you just read the things and you decide what to do and it seems the choises you make have some consequences.
If you really interested in detectife games, I'd advice you.
Poorly made visual novel, definitely not for everyone, but feel free to give it a shot

A visual novel written by someone with a poor grasp of the English language. (And frankly, that's the vibe I get from most of the positive reviews, as well.)

this visual novel has a very poor grammar, but imo the humor makes up for it.
the mystery is pretty well written, and the plot twist is certainly nice.
the music is pretty good, but it's pretty repetitive. like there's only 3 or 4 of them here
the sprites aren't that great-looking either
but, this game IS pretty cheap and entertaining, so i'm satisfied

There is a lot of text and I don't enjoy reading stuff, so this is not for me.
Well, there seems to be a lot of morons and trolls reviewing the game who hate visual novels. I am not one of them. I love visual novels. But, as a visual novel enthusiast I am still telling you this piece of crap isn't worth the 4 hours I spent on it. It's so bad I want my 99 cents back.
The "twist" is so stupid that I legit thought that I got a joke ending. When I found out that the "joke" ending was in fact the true ending, I was pretty annoyed. If you are curious, the twist is actually that The killer is Rosenthal's twin brother who was never introduced into the story until after you confront everyone. Yes... they introduce a NEW character in the last two minutes and he is the culprit. It breaks the most basic, fundamental rule of writing a freaking murder mystery in the first place.
The worst offense however is the fact that in it's vndb (visual novel database) summary it dared to compare itself to Umineko... UMINEKO. Widely considered to be one of the best VN's of all time... so of course, I go in thinking "This guy has good taste..." I was very, very wrong.
A short but very interesting game. I really recommend to play it.
All these reviews and nobody mentioned the master detective in this game is Jonny Knoxville.
Terrible, annoying characters. None of these characters have any depth so you can't really tell who would actually commit this murder.

The art style looks like the artist just started practicing character design two years ago.
Pretty boring...glad I got it on sale for like 1.00. I honestly did not play much of it but most of the beginning was all reading, very limited game play. When there was actual game play it was very direct and impossible to get wrong (choice a, b, c...get it wrong keep going until you get it right)..
Thinking back maybe it was still a tutorial but I doubt it,not was it mentioned. I might finish it at some point and give it to my kids if it is suitable...that might be only plus.
Pretty twisted ending, tricky if u are not lucky with the questions u ask, the rest of the game was well written and the characters are pretty interesting and unique.
Keep in mind that this is aimed for younger audiences. I did not enjoy the writing, but I am probably not in the age range. Going to recommend it since it is priced right and it fills a void in a genre that does not have enough to choose from.
I was distracted by the juvenile writing, but I wouldn't go as far as to say it was unbearable. Just be prepared for it.
The vast wealth of characters drew me in. The finely photoshopped backgrounds that surrounded the supremely human and lifelike drawings kept me watching with a close eye. Especially the young girl character Alex, who will stay in my nightmares for many weeks to come. I was unable to finish this game, sadly, because the true horror of murder and all it's dirty details was too much for me to bear. I hope someone with a stronger heart than mine will venture forward with detectives knox, clark and don't forget ROBERT! This is a mystery worth solving. 10/10
