Fight back against the Machine Alliance in this made-for-VR shooter. This game contains three play styles based on different types of locomotion: a "rails shooter" mode, an experimental "jog-to-move" mode in which the player jogs in place to move forward along the path, and a highly experimental Treadmill Mode that lets brave VR users play the game while walking on an exercise treadmill.
- Tackle missions or play in "Endless" mode to survive as long as you can.
- Certain elements of the missions are procedurally generated. Some things will be different each time you play.
- The missions follow a common pattern, but they differ according to which two weapons you get as well as other things. In the intro mission, you get a shield and plasma crossbow. In Mission 1, you get a pistol and a basic sword/machete. In Mission 2, you get a pistol and a sword with a "force field." In Mission 3, you dual-wield pistols. Mission 4 gives you a "TimeSaber" that allows you to slow enemy fire mid-air. Mission 5 lets you deflect enemy fire with a plasma sword, and Mission 6 gives you "MagneGuns" that can "magnetically" pull in robots and launch them.
GAMEPLAY HINTS:
- Shoot the red crystals to deactivate doorway lasers.
- The "basic blade" you have in Mission 1 is a simple weapon... but in later missions you have more advanced technologies.
- When you come to the crystal "reactor core" at the end of each mission, destroy the rotating crystals first otherwise the center crystal will regenerate.
- If you lose a mission a certain number of times on "Less Difficult Mode," it will unlock an even easier difficulty level that you can choose: "Least Difficult Mode."
- If you're a scoundrel, you can go into "Game Options," and then "Cheating Options" to unlock the missions without beating the preceding ones.

Okay game, it's an on-rails shooter that is interesting but feels unfinished. Although at $4 the content is okay, and it's not too bad that I wouldn't give it a shot however the unfinished feeling makes me not able to recommend it.

I VERY much appreciate the developers trying to incorporate tracker support and use new means of movement, BUT the game is far to simplistic, limiting and does not embrace the real immersion that tracking should provide...I'd pass.
I tried my best to like this one - about 3 sessions of 15 minutes each on 3 separate days - but I simply couldn't endure it anymore. Although the game has a really good soundtrack (it was very nostalgic of a Final Fantasy 3 castle tune), it was too random and largely uninspiring to continue playing.
The gun doesn't shoot particularly straight, and the enemies are very far away, which gives the game a very random feel as opposed to any sort of skill or improvement in shooting. Also, enemies shoot from far away and their bolts are very fast, making it almost impossible to dodge. The lack of feedback after being hit didn't give me much desire to even try to dodge, really, and I found myself 'wild-wild-west'ing most of the time on the same dreary path.
While everyone seems to be heralding this for its super cheap price, I would argue that there are MUCH better shooters out there for the same or less (or free) right now on the vive. It was a good attempt, but this one just didn't do it for me.
I use oculus touch but the jog just dosen't work. when I am runing, nothing happened. Even I swing my arms and shake heads but it just doesn't work. Other is ok but I am attracted by jog, so it is pity Now it works just as the developer answered. highly speak of developer's quick response.it's awesome!
For the quality the price is unbeatable. Its fun. It looks and runs great.

The jog (or squat, or calf extensions..) in place mode is hilarious. Finally you will feel sympathy for your FPS avatars.
I have started to slow down my purchasing of Vive games, now that so many are coming out every day, with a huge variety of quality and longevity.
For the money, and as a Early Access, this is a great game.
Long term it really needs some work, which I am sure they will do (and hope :) )
Worst complaint, and I've seen others mention it, is the aiming on the gun is terrible. SPT is awesome on this front. This should be copied or the gun just made more accurate. Would like no gun loading option too, personally.
Enemies need more AI.
Enemies should be bigger too, in a VR headset it is hard to see them.
Shield perhaps, instead of a pretty useless sword?
A story would be great, maybe more changes to the levels.
The train track works well, and the idea is cool, and its fun to play.
I think most people will be happy with the fun for the money but leave the game wanting so much more.
I do recommend it for this price.
Awsome graphics and responsive controls.
But you need to bite the bullet and get help with the sound production and creative direction expecially with that trailer.
You get bored and loose interest fast I'm sorry to say.
Which is a shame because it looks like you know what your doing.
I'm an artist and producer myself, hence why the sound stands out like dogs balls.
I'd focus a bit more on creativity.

A bit tired of VR rail shooters and this one offers nothing fun to the formula. Jogging in place could help you exercise but it's not fun when you're on a rail and it's slow as piss.
Enemies appear so far away you can count the pixels that make them up. Your weapon has spread, so those far away enemies take 2 or 3 shots apiece because you inevitably miss even though your aim was dead on. It makes me question the value of such a mechanic in VR but fine, spread is an old mechanic from many generations of FPSes. Kicker is, every shot they fire hits you. Not fun.
Maybe if it had a shield for the other hand instead of a pretty useless machette, and there was some time to block the shots, it could be fun. But as it is now, it just feels like someone's grad school game design project.
No thought went into what makes games fun. It's just a set of conditions that are gamey.
Not worth the money.
Any on rails locomotion makes me want to hurl however this dev included an alternate jog in place to move forward mechanic that really works. I feel great running and gunning while working up a sweat. My advice is support this dev for trying something different. Hopefully the Polish and content will come with updates.
Grab this game now while it's cheap! Dev you're cutting yourself short on the price, sorry guys but credit where credit is due!

One simple update this game has gone from looking to be a good shooter to looking like it's going to be a awesome shooter! I'm am now going to be hanging out for the next update!

If the Dev makes a few tweaks and minor changes you will be kicking yourself you did not get it before the price goes up.
The game in its current state is ok. There are a few things wrong with it, and the dev admits that with the price. But as the first release of the game it's very polished for EA. I've grabbed this to help the dev and put this away for a rainy update. Do I think this will be a killer VR game changer, unfortunately no. Do I think you will have fun for the price of a moldy bit of kfc, 100% yes
It's pretty fun, but I would love it if they made the easiest difficulty a bit easier (by for example removing the spider chasing you and making enemy projectiles move slower). Definitely worth it.
Great game, love the on rails shooting, better than a fixed spot endless waves type we have seen a lot of lately. Also very very much worth the price. Looking forward to updates.
Things it has (I have seen £15+ games with less)
2 modes of movement, on the spot jogging and sat in a minecart.
Graphics options including super sampling and gun angle.
2 game modes, endless and missions.
3 Difficulties
Gun accuracy has a fake spread to it so you kinda need to spam at things at distance to hit them.
Slower enemy bullets would be nice with the ability to deflect them with the sword.
clearer or different coloured enemies to make them easier to see.
All in all worth every penny and more.
Played the first level on normal mode and was really quite impressed, especially for the low price of this game. The game has 2 locomotions, 1= on rails and moving forward constantly and 2= jogging mode which i preferred. In this mode you move along as you have a little jog, or in my case, just bobbed my knees up and down abit. The gun mechanics were pretty good i thought although there is always room for improvement. You get a sword and a gun,i only used the sword a couple of times as i could shoot most stuff. There are missions and an endless mode. Anyone thinking of purchasing this game, go ahead, its cheap and i have seen much worse for a far higher price
It's so much better than I thought, an endless runner ( with running in place that works perfectly!) combined with a shooter. Nice graphics too. The price may suggest a humble product, but it's a solid game.
EDIT: I'm going for the 2 hrs of playing, and likes the game even more. The jog mode is great, you can cover yourself before enter in a stage, and hit far robots. With the experimental time blade, you've a sort of bullet time to deflect shots. It's also the best workout I ever had with the Vive, better than Holoball, Holopoint, BattleDome... whatever, here you actually run all the time with some pause for shots and hide, it reminds me the jogging in Wii Fit but even better! I hope this will grow as soon as new contents will be added.

Can barely make out distant robots
Gun is very inaccurate, even slowing down and using the sight
Robot bullets are incredibly fast, not being hit seems to come down to luck
Can't grumble at just over a quid, but with the speed of enemy bullets, inaccuracy of yours, and distant robots being hard to see, how much you progress comes down to luck.
