Imagine waking up one day and having to do basically everything with a bow and arrow. Crazy right? Well, that is what happened to you and now you need to live your life accordingly. Play your way through your various work days where you sell ice cream to kids, make vegetarian pizzas, deliver newspapers, chop wood, catch fish, destroy someones lawnmower and various other shenanigans. We don’t judge, but we certainly encourage you to destroy EVERYTHING! After all - you’re the master of #Archery in VR. Don’t try this IRL.

A bit of our #Archery story
Jakob and Max have known each other since many years. Like since waaaaay......back. Julie and Max first met each other at Shayla Games in Spring 2015. Max and Julie organized a Vive Jam in Stockholm in Autumn 2015 and Max had invited Jakob, who mainly sat in a room for himself being grumpy.
Julie organized a Vive Jam in Copenhagen in early 2016 and Max brought Jakob to Copenhagen. Jakob was still grumpy, but very productive and PizzaHood was the very first version of what we now call #Archery.
Jakob and Max continued working on so-called Pizzahood and then became part of VRUnicorns early Summer 2016 (talks about it started in Amsterdam...go figure) and Julie joined the dev team as what we call #IdeaGuy (which means all talk - no talk...testing&giving feedback an such). She forced the name #Archery on the game. For reasons only she knows. Julie was finally allowed to join the dev team for real early 2017 (she was kicked out of version control many times before that) and Horatiu is also working on #Archery now in between #SelfieTennis & #Utopia.

It's not really that fun, to be honest. It got boring to me way quick, and I don't know how.
Like many VR games, this was neat when it came out but now just feels more like a dated tech demo. It's probably fun for kids and it really has a lot of unique and creative variety when it comes to archery games. Don't expect much expect for some fun mini games and lots of hidden easter eggs and minigames to find.
If I could give it a neutral rating I would. Get it on sale if you really want to check it out or add it to your collection.
This is a VR ARCHERY MINIGAME! I got it onsale. It was well worth my $ for having some fun in VR. It ads to my VR library kids love it. 8 out of 10 Would shoot marshmellows at pizzas again
This game is SO not for me. I don't like the mechanics, any of the mini-games, the visual style..
ehh its kinda lame. If its on a extreme sale maybe but for me it had only alittle replay value. also the motion in the truck one made me sick alittle. Don't design a game with motion for VR players unless they are moving themselves.
I great VR game I keep coming back to. Most of the modes are a lot of fun. I play the making pizza and paper delivery the most. Good times!
There might be a good game simewhere in there, but you have to jump through a lot of hoops to find it. You need to realize that despite your arrows teleporting you around the small studio apartment that you start in, you actually have to reach out and grab an awkwardly placed Ipad on a counter to navagate to any content. This game would be greatly improved by a decent tutorial, and starting in a different location. It's not really engaging enough for adults, and the navagation controls aren't clear or intuitive enough for kids. You'd have more fun playing the archery simulator in "the lab" - which is free.
Looks quite polished but I just didn't have any fun with it, the challenges are too short with little instruction, you can't travel around the rooms, and the aiming seemed a bit off. Still - it's an early access games and so far it does show a lot of promise. I'll be interested to see where it goes. Would probably be a great game for kids if there were clear instructions and the challenges were a bit easier.
The mini games is over to quickly, it should have an option for goal/timed gameplay and sandbox (mess around) gameplay.
#Archery is another fun game brought to us by the VR Unicorns. The physics and controls are perfect, the design is colourful and fun as is the gameplay, offering a never seen before take on archery, with levels in which you can use your bow and arrow to do everyday tasks such as to make a pizza and deliver papers. Although it appears to be more of a game for casual gamers or those looking for a party game, it also offers competitive style gameplay to players with leader-boards, and levels such as the 'paperboy' level fall on the more challenging side of the VR archery games available. The game also has a lot of replay value, with a variety of archery levels, and there are also even more mini games hidden in the game for us to find. I have played a lot of VR archery games so far and this is one of the titles that I would recommend. The only thing it seems to be lacking is a fun soundtrack.

Quick and dirty fun! There's some great mini games here for a decent price. They seem to be adding quite a bit of content to the game too.
It's not particularly interesting yet. Valve's archery in The Lab simply feels better, and that comes for free with the Vive. There are more levels here, but I'm not yet convinced that those add anything special.
- The Bow's position isn't bound to the controller that is holding it, its orientation is based on the arrow, making it feel quite disconnected.
- The arrows don't seem to inherit the shooter's velocity, meaning that in levels where you're moving, you have to adjust your aim in counter-intuitive ways (you have to aim more in the direction that you're moving, in the stead of the other way around).
- Melee weapons don't always seem to register hits correctly. I thought that might be because of a minimum speed, but that doesn't seem to be the case either.
In short, I don't get it. Maybe it's just not for me.
After coming from #selfietennis, I thought this would be just like it, with small little easter eggs and casual bow and arrow shooting, but in the end it's a simple bow and arrow game that kind of lacks the quirkiness I expect from the developers, this game came off lack luster, and just boring, the mini games were too quick and could not really easily grasp the concept of what was needed in the level before the score board popping up after so many arrow misses. I was really hoping a more casual approach like they did with #selfietennis and let you mess around and discover easter eggs. Hopefully they improve the game, so far I do not recommend.
This game is so fun, many small games inside and this is perfect to compete with highscore.
I liked selfie tennis and after messing around with the archery in there i was mostly hoping for an environment to shhot around in and unlock stuff. That isnt in this game. It does have a bunch of shooting courses (which are pretty hard if you arent great at vr archery) but the environments there are destructable and there are fun mini games to find. And the controls are on par with other vr archery games. Im recommending it mostly off of style but if they added a training stage or just a more passive shooting around stage it would be amazing
A simple game that is fun to play. Not sure how long I will play it for, mind. Various game play scenarios try and add a bit of variety but, at the end of the day, you're just firing a bow and arrow. On the plus side, it is better than most other offerings out there and expands on similar style found in The Lab's bow and arrow game.
Personal favourite is the ice-cream level, followed by the "paperboy" level. Additional mini-games, found within the games, are mostly fun with only a couple of duds in there. Worth picking up if you have nothing else to play and fancy bow and arrow shooting.
Simple enough, but absolutely 0 instruction is off putting. Suffers from the same flaws as #SelfieTennis I'm afraid. Also seems to look worse, I just wanted to increase resolution scaling or something to sharpen it up but once again this game has absolutely no options or menu system and I'm not going to go digging through forums or using 3rd party solutions to improve the experience.
#Archery is a mini-game compilation that features archery mechanics. While the graphic is simple, what's fun is its highly interactive environment (in the sense that you can fire an arrow at them for additional point).
There are about 5 mini-games, each featuring simple gameplay objective. The game doesn't give you any instruction before you start the mini-game though, so you'll have to figure it out yourself on what they are. Some of the mini-games may even features their own mini (but even shallower) game too, and to play them you have to fire an arrow at their icon).
This title is in early access, and provide bit-size fun. I don't have a problem aiming and firing the arrows in all the mini games (except the rooftop target board mini game) too.
All in all, this title is an easy to pick up title for VR beginner to play, and should provide casual fun, but it need more contents (mini games) ASAP.
I just saw this game on Steam for $10 and thought "hey, I love VR archery, and these are the same guys that made the Selfie Tennis game that everyone loved!" So, I picked it up and played all of the different modes.
You've got a few different archery games to choose from. Archery cooking, archery ice cream stand, archery newspaper delivery, rooftop target archery, and factory worker archery (I think that's all of them). Considering that this game is in early access and that it's only $10, that's not a bad selection! I personally like newspaper delivery archery, which even contains minigames within itself.
The bow mechanics feel very good. It has "true" 2-handed archery (you aim with both hands, not just the front hand), and the rumble makes pulling the string very satisfying. There are leaderboards for each mode, so you can shoot for the high score of your favorite mode(s)!
Being a huge fan of VR archery, I'd say that this game was worth it for me. With more content supposedly on the way for a game that isn't even very expensive, there isn't much to complain about!
Interesting concept, and well worth the $8.50. Its surprisingly polished and has a good amount of mini games. I cant wait to see what more they add to it
