I got to say, this game is awesome if you're a supercross or trials fan, the gameplay is spot on, the trick system is awesome and the animations are very cool. Don't try to write this off as a trials rip off because this game does things a lot better than trials, it focuses on the pure Motocross riding and tricking, so try not to let the laid back presentation fool you. Some of the bosses you race against are pretty funny, such as the first freestyle boss. This game does have some fair share of problems that prevent this game from being perfect, first of all, the bike stats are horribly unbalanced across the five bikes available in this game, once I saved enough money to buy the beast bike, I never went for any of the other bikes because it obviously has the best stunts for racing, speed, and freestyle, not even the pulsar can keep up with the beast. A score attack mode would be nice so you could choose any level and go for a high score with no campaign interference or fixed props. Another problem is the trick sync events, which comes from hell itself, FUCK, THOSE, EVENTS. Those events are extreme on frustration, and those are easily the worst things about this whole experience, the first two aren't bad, but at the later trick sync events where it involves three buttons and then a modifier for tricks with strict timing, it makes you want to toss your controller against a wall, even if you enter the right button combination quickly during a jump, the trick won't come out and you'll risk starting over, thank goodness for the quick restart feature otherwise I would have gone mad trying to complete those awful challenges. But despite those, it's an awesome game worth playing on sale. If you are a Motocross and freestyle fan, you can't go wrong with MX nitro.

It's very well made for what it is and will give you an adrenaline rush if you manage to get past the learning curve. This game is much harder than most racing games because you have to know how the combo system works and memorize the level layouts. It's like a BMX racing version of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater. You race along a linear path and try to do tricks to build up "nitro" which gives you a speed boost. Spinning multiplies the trick counter. If you do too many of the same tricks, then the nitro builds up slower, and I think this is the easiest place to mess up in this game.

The campaign also has you doing levels where you compete for the most points and "boss fights" which are just very hard racing sequences. As you progress you unlock better bikes and other upgrades like new tricks. The game only took me around eighth hours to beat but I had a lot of fun playing it. I would go for the achievements but they are very "checklisty" and a lot are online only so I decided to skip them.

Good game. If you can't get enough of trials then buy this one.

If you're looking for a fun to play racing game, then this is the game for you. However, depending on your skill level, it can get a little difficult.

Changed resolution, can't change it back to monitor's native resolution. No settings / config file to change manually. Garbage.

back in the day this game was on a flash games website and it was sick and not super difficult to get to the end of. NOW however this game likes to pull you in directions for some reason. also so many glitches, i was racing this one i had to get first place and i did... it said i lost then i did it again and it said they won even though when i did it the first time it said the 2nd rider was 300m away behind me. also some bikes are trick bikes and have the plot armour of a boss so they are faster then a speed specific bike. also the tricks dont seem as smooth as the crappy flash game. very disappointed it wasnt on the lines of the flash game with how it felt, this one feels all flaccid and slow. compared to the flash game that was crisp and super smooth

Alright, so MX Nitro Unleashed tries to capture the magic of Trials, but ends up bogging down the experience with a bunch of unnecessary fluff. It's like they took a perfectly good cake and slathered it with too much frosting. You've got a boatload of customization options, but guess what? They're all locked away in loot boxes that require more grinding than a pepper mill.

And don't even get me started on the voice-overs and cutscenes – they interrupt the game like a telemarketer during dinner. To make matters worse, the rubber-banding AI ensures that your opponents will always be breathing down your neck, no matter how well you're racing. It's like being stuck in a bad dream where you're trying to run but can't get anywhere.

Now, it's not all doom and gloom – the ultra-wide screen support and arcade racing gameplay are nice touches.. But the difficulty? It's all over the place, like a kangaroo on a pogo stick. You start off with a bike that couldn't pull the skin off a rice pudding, and it only gets easier as you upgrade. All in all, MX Nitro Unleashed is a bit of a hot mess.

Motocross Nitro is the reason why I love this series. when I was just 14 years old boy, I was blinded by the art of the developers of Motocross Nitro. It was so simple but at the same time good af.
Mad Dog Games, you guys have nailed my childhood. And now, this game is just like a remastered of Motocross Nitro which is perfect. Moreover, I'm a fan of Saber Interactive when it come to graphic(back when they work with Activition in the Call of Duty franchise), the graphic is f**king gorgeous.

Great, underrated Trials style game with a focus on doing tricks. Got it for 75% off and would definitely recommend it for that price if you like this kind of game.

About the only option for motocross that allows you to do a fuck ton of tricks. Looks decent, and I was addicted to the trampoline game by miniclips so I like this style of game. For $5 I can't really complain.

I have been pleased with this game! It's fun to play and something good to go back to when you get bored or frustrated with another game. I hope your GPU has more than 4 DDR memory, the more the merrier!

Fun game, kinda like Trials. In fact, it came from Miniclip, the same website that got the trials series famous. MX is fun to play, but your computer needs to be kinda good to play it. Overall fun.

It's just a button combo timing game. The split-second timing is too unforgiving, and having 4 buttton combos with timing gaps is ridiculous. Also you have to replay and learn the (very) short tracks to stick the landings because the ground below is not always in view.

Yeah, it's like an Excitebike in 3D graphics, this means that you move in a sole direction. It's a daring move, but it makes it unique on its way, and it's still very enjoyable. Speaking of which, the graphic details are sweet and amazing.

A no brainer, just have fun triggering the gas and balancing the bike in mid-air while performing stunts, gain more credits and keep the lead. You also have a good library of helmets, gear and bikes to customize your rider. The commentary is enjoyable as well, specially in head-to-head events as the oponent starts to taunt you.

An incredibly fun time-killer, stress free and perfect for resting your mind. I recommend it!

The button sequence mechanisms for tricks is a bit obtuse coming from old school high score games, once you get it however, a lot of fun..

Plus these guys are publishing NBA PLAYGROUNDS, arcade gaming is back.

think of Trials Fusion but with tricks and racing. This game actually gives you a reason to do BA tricks during races and rewards you with nitro. Very fun MX game and I would reccomend this game to anybody who loves those challenging mx games where you have to go from point to point. This game also has more than just racing! A very highly reccomended buy, definitely worth every penny!

Game looks awesome and plays great! ... except there is only one camera view from the left side of the bike ..which is just horrible and lame ... maybe will try it again if a helmet cam or at least a chase cam were added, hopefully they will update it.

I like it. It's a trick filled Trialslike game earning nitro boost as you do tricks. Be prepared to race each track multiple times to learn the track in order beat it and unlock the next race. Nice graphics, nice sounds, good competitive AI. Pure Arcade fun! Also compete against other players scores and ghosts, not live action, but still fun trying to move up in the rankings.

Worth the full $20 price in my opinion.

I figured this would be more like MX vs ATV with a first person cam and steering involved but everything except tricks and balancing is all automated, its definietely not the worst game, just not really to my taste, i guess i was seeking more nostalgia in HD

Good game with bosses at the end of each locations. It's a good game but literally no one plays it anymore. Just wish it had full online multiplayer.

If you've played Trials then you know what to expect, but it's really more like a modern Excitebike. Looks good and plays good, give it a shot.
