Welcome to the Game puts you behind a computer screen to explore the deep web. You are challenged to find 8 hidden keys throughout the deep web to build the Red Rooms URL. During this process, you are challenged with hidden puzzles on the Deep Web, have to solve mini puzzle games to prevent from getting hacked and there may or may not be kidnappers trying to kidnap you. Experience the true horror and eeriness of what is really out there on the deep web without actually going on the deep web.

Simple and well designed. Breather and kidnapper aren't hard to juggle and have fairly easy to understand mechanics, and the codes aren't hard to find at all.
This game has some of the NASTIEST jumpscares that'll make you jump out of your skin! I love it!
There was a website about pedophilia I accidentally clicked it wanting to click the website above and got instantly killed

I don't know how to feel about this game; it is fun at first, and the thrill of being hunted and on edge always gets me, but after not long, the game becomes slow as it feels as if you are trying to click on every inch of every web page in hopes that find a new link only to find it a pointless link. I wish the game had more structure and guidance rather than it being a guessing game. I got far in this game with online tutorials.

This game is okay. It's a relic from 2016 with a solid idea. There's things you have to know that the game doesn't tell you and the final achievements are annoying as hell, but it's enjoyable for a time.

Audio Cues: The Game
I love the atmosphere of this game and how it captures the gross feeling of browsing the dark web with the mission of solving the puzzle. However, the game-play loop sucks, it is literally just turning your audio up all the way to listen for the slightest creak sound or unknown sound that doesn't correlate with what is happening on the computer.
Welcome to the Game has been an incredibly atmospheric and sometimes nerve-wracking experience-to this day, counting 275 hours played, out of which roughly 150 were spent playing through the Hacker Mode DLC.

Cons:
Punishing Difficulty: At times, this game can be a little unfair, especially when certain mechanics depend on RNG. All it takes is one slip-up or a happenstance of bad luck, and hours of work are erased.
Repetitive Threats: While AI foes-the Kidnapper, for example-keep you on edge, their patterns can get predictable over an extensive playtime, which somewhat reduces the fear factor. UI Clunkiness: Navigating the game is sometimes awkward. Some mechanics are in dire need of more polish or even accessibility, most especially in Hacker Mode. Final Thoughts:
If you're into horror games with strategic elements and if the steep difficulty curve doesn't deter you, you really have to give it a shot. The thrill of surviving through the Deep Web's horrors and unraveling its secrets is what keeps me back.

Great game, has some flaws but its amazing. make sure you have loud and clear headphones because youll need them (a tip for anyone still to beat the game the loading bar stays blue after a page has loaded if it has a key)

One of the best dark web horror games. Pretty difficult game so I recommend you read a couple guides.

It's nearing the end of 2024 by the time I'm posting this and I still can't believe how I am getting jumpscared by a slim bald dude with a goofy medical mask on from 2016.
One day I'll beat you WTTG. I am determined.
