Easily my favourite and most played anno game.
Fantastic ANNO. Glad we can still play it, and with multiplayer!
Ubisoft forces you to log into their service before you can launch the game, but then doesn't keep the required servers online so you can actually log into the service. This is a totally useless game that can't be launched in 2024. I won't be buying anything from those thieves again.
Almost went bankrupt and engineers began fleeing my city enmass when my ship transporting burgers was sank by enemy subs. 10/10 Would restore my city and bomb the enemy island to the stone age again

Anno series is a great experience. Ubisoft launcher makes it not worth the purchase, if you lose access to the old email linked to Ubisoft there is no recourse to transfer your ownership via CD code or account transfer EVEN THOUGH YOU OWN IT ON STEAM!

Game is great but oh my stars Ubisoft Connect login required every launch is very frustrating. Half the time it doesn't recognise your password and then it locks you out and suspends your account for a few hours. I JUST WANT TO PLAY THE GAME

Anno 2070 is a worthy addition to the beloved city-building series. While the game starts off a bit bleak, it quickly evolves into an engaging experience. The futuristic setting introduces cool new mechanics that refresh the familiar Anno formula. Despite a slow beginning, players who persist will find a deep and rewarding strategy game that lives up to the series' reputation.
A close future tech era game of Anno series, after the 15th-18th century themes. Technology upon colonisation and economy makes a good atmosphere and underwater is a beautiful feature of this game.
Mechnaically and technically better than 1404 with a less classical, but interesting setting. Music again is a ten-outta-ten.

Yes, a Ubisoft account is required to participate in an online session. If you want to play without a Ubisoft account, you will have to resort to older versions via CD-ISO for better or worse

Super confusing to play multiplayer
Game UI is so small I could not read it, looked for a fix and found that I have to change the game files just to get it to work on a hd-4k tv! Not my job to fix your broken game I paid for so, I REFUNDED THIS CRAP! LAZY UBISOFT you can put in pronouns an other woke crap in games but not fix your older games?
Game does not start. I tried multiple times to install and start the game. Other games in my steam account published by Ubisoft are running normal, i wouldn!t recommend to buy this one. Money for nothing....
Cannot play due to CD Key issues. Steam support say I own the game and there is no problem. Ubisoft says I don't own the game and refuses to launch.
Game in itself is great and i have some good memories of it.
Graphics and sounds are great, the gameplay is smooth and its definitely one of the better games in the genre (Anno series is solid overall)

Always loved this game but a little disappointed to see all the negative activation/DRM/License stuff. I was gonna get the rest of the DLC but now i'm unsure about Ubisoft & their Licensing Policy. Will this game still be active in 10 years? Do I even own it? If I don't a Game I'm not spending my heard earned Money on it, sometimes I come back to old Games years later! If the Games industry is gonna be a dictator then I'm out of Gaming altogether or just won't buy any new ones.

Never buying Ubisoft products again. Their 3rd party program has gone through so many variations over the years, Uplay, Ubisoft Connect, etc. When I changed my email address, I lost access to whatever account their 3rd party program made, and their support refused to help.

Just a great game that still holds up super well all these years later. I've played for far more than 25 hours overall and I'd recommend any strategy enthusiast to take a chance on it
