DOES EARTH REALLY EXIST?
In year 160000 of the Galactic calendar, mankind has reached far across the stars from millenia of migration. The knowledge of Earth's existence has been lost to time, and is now a distant myth. But centuries of genetic engineering is driving the gene pool towards a dead end, and only samples of our earliest DNA may save us from extinction. And so, with the fate of mankind resting on its shoulders, a lone spaceship embarks upon a journey to rediscover our origin.

Cute and surprisingly emotional evocative 1-1.5 hour experience. You play as Emeth, an adorable robot whose purpose is to find the lost planet Earth. It's mostly a visual novel, with each section being broken up by you finding and scanning solar systems on a star chart. It's not the most thrilling gameplay, but it provides proper ludonarrative harmony, serving the story and themes well.
I enjoyed my time with it, but I think I would have been a bit annoyed if I'd spent the full asking price of 15 dollars on such a limited experience. Probably best to grab this one on sale.
A short fun puzzle game. The little robot can be annoying at times but he can also be sweet too. Don't go for a hundred percent like I did the last two achievements are a nightmare to get.
A simple, short, yet sweet game about a robot wanting to find Earth, and learning about its creator in the process. Yes, it's originally a mobile game, so some things may not be as polished as if it was made for PC, but the story way more than makes up for it. It's a really neat game, and it's a great introduction to SIGONO's games.
OUGH... LITTLE GUY SIMULATOR...
the day we found earth has all the fundamentals that team sigono would go on to build on in their future games: the trademark lineless art style with a wonder-filled expression of space, a simple and affective story with lots of environmental detail that sketches out a picture of what's happened beyond the main characters' perspective, atmospheric sound design, and a chill gameplay loop. and while you don't NEED to know the real-world cultural references in the backdrop (for this entry of the opus series, jewish folklore/mysticism and hellenistic history) to enjoy yourself, if you do happen to have that knowledge you will stand up and do the dicaprio point when you see what the devs did there.
also it must needs be said that emeth is simply the Cutest little space golem. he's just a little guy... just a little guy doing his best...
tl;dr you WILL smash add to cart if you enjoy babby robot and want a short little narrative (plus postgame extras, of course) that won't overstay its welcome. look into his little eyes. you cannot say no to emeth opusseries. you Will Not say no to emeth opusseries. open your heart and welcome into it a little guy
40 hours into the game and still no Earth in sight... Either I'm really bad at it, or I'm in denial about having to finish the game one day and, eventually, uninstall it.
Deep down, I think I just don't want to leave Emeth alone...

I really enjoyed this game, despite it being quite short in the grand scheme of things. It has a simple plot, but even on this short adventure I got quite connected to Emeth the little robot, or "Tinman" as it also seems to be called. The game play built up through the story, and even became somewhat challenging in the later parts, which gave me a great sense of achievement when I found the celestial object in question. Definitely a little gem, and am looking forward to playing other games by this publisher in the OPUS series.
Short game, should take you about 90 minutes to finish, it has a nice story, good music, and the characters are likable. I would recommend it.
Story really carries this game. After the first cutscene you know exactly what'll happen, but the small details and Emeth's denial are gutpunches.
