A jigsaw puzzle game made for kids. You can solve jigsaw in piece counts of 9, 20, 30, 42 or 56 pieces. I am just a tiny little bit too old to be the target audience, but if I were a child I would have probably loved it.

If you've got a child who's wanting to get into puzzles, this is a great way to introduce them! Inside Pixel Puzzles Junior, there are many puzzles with various piece sizes (9, 20, 30, 42 and 56). The images are kid friendly, interesting and provides decent entertainment to any puzzle enjoyer.
There is an issue with the Snake on 30 pieces: go into your library, right click, manage and select browse local files. Go into "pz", select "c" (as that represents the 3rd puzzle size), scroll until you find the pieces and then change the names on them from "..._01_n" - n being the piece number to "..._n". They didn't remove the first set of two numbers and it breaks the puzzle.
I recommend it mostly because it was entertaining, but this is generally made for kids.

Pixel Puzzles Junior is a casual, puzzle game.
STORY
There is no story, background, or setup to the game.
GAMEPLAY
All of the puzzles follow traditional puzzle building mechanics. The music and atmosphere are set to the theme of the puzzles. All of the puzzle pieces float around in the side panels and you can place them or move them as needed. The game has a button for displaying the pictures or puzzle piece outline to compare with while building the puzzles. Each puzzle has 5 levels of difficulty; 9, 20, 30, 42, and 56 pieces respectively. This puzzle set is meant for a younger audience so there is little challenge for puzzle masters. There are 50 puzzles with 5 levels of difficulty making 250 puzzles to solve.
PLAYTIME
The game is not very complicated however if you like completing everything in a game it will take some time to complete. Play time is ~8-9 hours to complete all puzzles, however all achievements can be obtained in 30 minutes to 1 hour by playing the smallest puzzle size for all puzzles.
COMPLAINTS
At the time of this review, 1 puzzle is broken, so there are only 249 puzzles to win.
REPLAYABILITY
There is NO replayability on this game as there is no end game mechanics, no map metrics to try to beat, and no engrossing story to return to.
RECOMMENDATION
I recommend this game to kids that like puzzles, and to achievement hunters.

I loved every damn minute of this great video-game! (I'm 8 btw)
Easy Puzzle Game... Although, wanting to complete all of the level's, I am unable to cause the Snake 20 piece level does not show up at all. I have tired everything from verifying game integrity, re-installing, deleting cache, etc. Please fix this for 100% Completion.
I loved this franchise ever since it came to steam.
And now we finally have a very nice junior version.
Of course: I had to buy it and give it to my sister.
Did she enjoy the puzzles? Indeed, she really did.
I love Pixel Puzzles: Ultimate, that's a gud game.
But it's great to have a game targeted to children.
You can teach this game to your kids very easily.
After it, you can transition to other jigsaw games.
I really hope to see a sequel to this junior version.
Because it is truly a great learning game for kids.

I rate this "G". Great game, and fun pictures for kids. Pixel Puzzles Junior did a great job adding 5 different puzzle sizes to each of the puzzles allowing for different age groups to play and be challenged.

50 Achievements all really easy to obtain
TRADING CARDS:
12 Trading cards. Three hours into the game and I received my first trading card.
PROS:

-Moving puzzle pieces, and no way to keep them still

Gameplay is good for a point and click game. Puzzle pieces always float around with no way to keep them still.

An adult would have a hard time replaying this game. I believe this game would have great replayability for kids because they can choose different size puzzles to progress in their puzzle skills.

None - No problems installing game. No issues during start up. No game freezes, or unexpected quitting.

Great game for children, and fun pictures, thank you! Wish it wouldn't take so long to receive the trading cards. This is still a game for kids and 3 hours is a long time to obtain the first card. Also, a way to toggle on and off the movement of the puzzle pieces in the game screen.

No, don’t buy this game for yourself, unless you are an achievement hunter. If you are then it is an easy +1 perfect game for yourself.
Why the positive recommendation then? Well, the game does not lie about the content, it is a jigsaw game REALLY for juniors, so for kids and they will probably enjoy it. Very childish music and cartoony pictures. The music could be very annoying to adults:-)
If your kid is around 3-7 years old, then this is an ok skill development game and a fun way for your kid to start using a computer and get familiar with the PC mouse.

Hey, I am an achievement hunter!
Perfection time: ~0,3h. 50 pictures, 1 achievement for completing every single picture. You can do it on lowest “difficulty”, so with only 9 jigsaw pieces on each puzzle.
My grandchildren (ages 4 and 5) play this game when I visit their home (on my computer). I sit down to play Pixel Puzzels Ultimate and almost immediately, they are asking me to quit so they can play Pixel Puzzels Junior. The littelest girl (age 4) uses the grid layout to help her see the piece placement. Both girls love managing the mouse and cursor to place the pieces and get the giraffe to win the game. As they progress in skill, they can progress in difficulty--what a wonderful concept for the little ones. They also love picking their favorite puzzles to put together, like a birthday cake, or a witch! They truly have lots of fun. They play for a while and then move on to other play things. I have seen their eye/hand coordination improve and mental agility and strategy of learning how to start with corner and edge pieces and how to progress with the rest of the puzzle. I don't think that children should spend hours at a computer, but a little time learning some basic skills, does help with crossover learning in other areas of their life. So, it's not all just fun and games. I approve of this game for what it allows my little grand-girls to learn.
Good puzzle game for kids.
Very colorful and with varied themes.
There are options at the bottom left of the screen to make the puzzle-making experience even easier than already is.
There's also an option to choose how many puzzle pieces you want per puzzle.
Easy overall, a good time killer for your child or even for you if you enjoy ANY kind of puzzle.
Plus there are about 50 puzzles, each of them with their own Steam achievement - just in case you're a hunter, this game is an easy achievement hunting experience you can go through under an hour or two.
I found this to be fun to play with my daughter, but even for her this was too easy. No changing the orientation of the puzzle pieces, they are already setup when you pick them up to fit on the puzzle. You just need to find the right place for the puzzle pieces and that's it. With a maximum of 50 pieces, this was perfect for my daughter, but it would have been nice if the level of difficulty could have gotten more difficult to challenge her.
Overall, there's just much better puzzle games out there, especially for young kids.
What to say about this? It's Jigsaws, just Jigsaws and nothing else. And it's definitely aimed at younger children. This is reflected by the choice of music and soundeffects and the motives of the Jigsaws itself. You can choose from different Jigsaw sizes to suit your personal likings and difficulty of the game though.
The game can easily be used for farming achievements. Farming cards may take a whole lot longer than the playthrough of the game, as you can set each Jigsaw to nine pieces for a quick go of maybe 15 minutes to complete all. While waiting for your cards to farm you will most probably learn that this game's engine does feature a nice little memory hole aswell. So you will have to restart the client a few times to get all cards.
After all I do recommend it for younger children only, as the grown up gamer that's still into solving Jigsaws should seriously head for some other games of the same genre also available here at Steam that are more compelling than this one.
Great for children, some what boring for adults because of the low number of puzzle pieces. The achievements are super easy. A game you beat once for the art and challenge.
So, I own a lot of the Pixel Puzzles group. I decided to acquire this volume, because I have nieces that liked to watch me playing the Ultimate version. And while I can say this volume can be useful for them (they seemed to enjoy it)... I do wish I knew how to get them to be a little calmer... especially after they figured out my computer has a touchscreen...
Seriously, two little girls trying to both move the same pieces can be... chaotic... As well as the cleaning of the screen later...
Is this game age appropriate for children ages 2 to 5? Yes
Would I let a 2 to 5 year old anywhere near my PC? No
I am a big Pixel Puzzles Fan myself and although I am not a Junior I did get this game for myself whilst it is on sale (0,99€) and I must say I am actually pleasntly surprised.
I originally thought I will be having easy puzzles in the beginning like other Stand-alone Pixel Puzzle Games which get harder over time. But to my Surprise every Puzzle comes with 5 Difficulties.
The Difficulties for each Puzzle is made via more Puzzle Pieces but they are also made smaller which is great for Kids of different Ages.
The different Puzzle Sizes are:

~ 20
~ 30
~ 42
~ 56
Although I myself did kinda rush through this game at the easiest difficulty for easy achievements. I do believe this Game is great for children of different ages.
The Pictures included lots of cute and different things which are all drawn very colourful.
So whilst completing all 50 Puzzles on the easiest difficulty will take you only about 25 minutes, I do believe that if you have a determined child that likes to do all the other difficulties too you will get alot more hours out of it then me.
Do I recommend this game? YES
I recommend this Game to any Achievement / Perfect Game Hunter, Puzzle Fan and to children from age 3-13.
A fun little puzzle game that is appropriate for children of all ages. Added to the fact it goes up to 56 pieces Many adults will enjoy it as well. The only con I was able to find is that the window mode is not well configured. When activated a good quarter of the screen is hidden from view. Still, all in all very nice.

Because of adjustable levels of difficulty, it is easy to customize the game to each player (You choose how many pieces you want and whether you want help lines etc.).
The pictures are funny too...
Pixel Puzzles Junior is a puzzle game (≧︿≦) for little kids, but you grown up mens can also play it, the game is actually decent, and the puzzles are not that hard. Also the BGM is amazing!
