A very boring and repetitive game. The missions are all the same with the same background and same mechanics. Not so much freedom for the character. Side characters are boring as well. The game does not attach the player emotionally. Graphics are mid.
All in all, its a 3/10.

It is, one of the best hacking game, i have ever played in my life. It is an open world game, with a huge map of San Francisco, and it has very nice graphics till now in 2025. This game is filled full of hacking with a nice story. Everyone should try this game, it is highly recommended.

Runs really bad even when I turn the graphics down. It takes up so much of ram it’s practically unplayable.

Watch Dogs 2 is now my all-time favorite game.

This game may crash, but it's pretty infrequent. The story is pretty easy to forget, but enjoyable and comedic. The gunplay is much better compared to the first game, but it still has its problems. Not the best, but far from the worst.

This is a game from a time where Ubisoft made good games. The world just feels good to play around in, and the visuals are fantastic. The story is meh, but most of the side quests are interesting enough to offset the mediocrity of the main story. There are some performance issues, and a few bugs, but nothing to major is present.

I don't rate games that highly often, but this one gets a solid 8/10 from me. I highly recommend it, but I would suggest buying it on sale- as it is a bit pricey at full price.

To enhance the experience, constantly play Wrong Way through the in game media player when you're doing stupid shit. Makes the most mundane stuff feel hilarious.

Watch Dogs 2 is a true success story when it comes to an open-world action-adventure game. The world of San Francisco is beautifully recreated, vibrant and full of detail, and the many activities and missions provide variety that maintains interest from start to finish.

The hacking-based gameplay is innovative and truly satisfying, whether you opt for a stealth or more direct approach. The characters are endearing, the humor is refreshing, and the soundtrack perfectly accompanies the dynamic atmosphere of the game.

However, as is unfortunately common in Ubisoft productions, the game is not free of bugs. These small technical problems, although recurring, can sometimes affect the pleasure of playing. This is a shame for an otherwise successful title.

Overall, Watch Dogs 2 remains a great game for those looking for a fun and original open-world adventure. With a little more technical polish, it could have been a real gem. Bravo for this universe as inventive as it is entertaining!

a rare ubisoft gem but gets stale quick, even with the dlc. This game wouldve been amazing if they put more effort into it and didnt copy and paste assets and dialogue. Its a yes if under 10$ and a no if over 10$. Its something you play if your from the bay area or are waiting inbetween games.

game is fun to play, well before i started to experience crashes, game keeps crashing when loading up the game and i deleted and reinstalled the game, still didn't work.

It's really nice looking game with vibrant world and impressive characters however most of It's contents feels like filler than anything impressive and despite that there are bunch of life improvements compared to Watch Dogs 1 like the police being not much but less of an issue than in first game and even being able to melee fight, the game has some of the worst stealth system.

While It newly innovates in sending drones to solve things It also hinders the ability of the player being able to have stealth weapons from the start and you have to invest a lot of ingame money into them making the game grindy.

It's really big pain that you have to chew on If you wanna play such game.

But I pretty much enjoyed playing the game.

fantastic story, good characters, funny moments but also serious ones, and lots of gameplay even after you complete the main story.

Watch_Dogs 2 has really nice graphics, good controls and a decent story. I'm just not a fan. The game seems like it would be good if I liked stealth, hacking games, which I don't. So if you like the genre it might be a good fit for you. MEH

A little buggy? Yes, but totally playable. Get it on a deep discount and it's a heck of a bargain. The open world setting is really good.....the lessons conveyed in the plot are still meaningful and relevant to today and the game is just all around fun to just screw around it.

Love the open world and feel like it has its own twist regarding the hacking aspect which is really rare to be seen in recent games. Comes with a lot of fun and action filled gameplay and also hooks u in the game for what feels like hours. Its a personal favourite and the graphics are top notch. Definitely would recommend if you are feeling bored of your current games and want a rpg with a twist off hacking and stealth

Amazing story, and the characters were so loveable made the game 100 times better

Its fun, the multiplayer could get a little bit empty but it depends on the time you play and fun if you find one. i do suggest getting this game when it's on sale since this game is more than 2-3 years old for it to be worth it. Same goes with the dlc (buy both the human condition and no compromise. If not just the human condition, The T-Bone pack is fine on sale but not necessary) the graphics could be a problem (Even for high graphic card like 4080, mine is still 2050) since there's usually a flickering around the road, grass, building, etc. But with a little tweaking in the graphic menu it should fix the problem.

Overall, 7.8/10 could be better if Ubisloth focus to fix their damn launcher that cause graphical issues on the game, not fumbling as a company

Imagine working hard to create a beautiful Open-World game and interactive characters. Then Ubiscared says: "Wait, people are actually having fun with this game? No no no, MAKE THEM have a useless Ubisoft account to play singleplayer, oh and make them use our broken rat infested servers and Ubi-CoNneCt that barely works! Great Idea!" Great Job to the developers. And I Hope Ubisoft Falls to the ground.

Great game in it's own right, but the story is much weaker than the first game. It feels much sillier, stripped of any serious plot or message. Feels like they tried too hard to turn it into GTA, taking away what made Watch Dogs special. Despite this, I can't rightfully call it a poorly made game. The controls are smooth, the world is immersive, and it's well put together, despite being a much weaker addition to the franchise.

6.5/10 the game is still buggy with bad AI and the only enjoyable part of the map is Elmhurst

amazing game all mission are not too easy but not too hard and overall this game packs years worth of content like a speedrunner cant finish this in a week

The game made my CPU run at max 100% even with a good gaming laptop, comparing to my other high end games like dying light 2 which runs smoothly

The story, is incredible, the graphics, are incredible, the gameplay, is out of this world 10/10 game

im playing this 2016 game in 2024 and its mindblowing i can say its like cyberpunk a litle the graphics are wowzing and i hope you try it out for yourself too ^^

It's a lot of fun. I stole and rode a scooter to a side quest where I raced carts and had to steal a battery etc

Driving around San Francisco is great and honestly that's all I need from this game. The SF Bay Area is detailed and there is even a tourist app for the likes of myself. Other than that, Watch Dogs 2 is a decent hacker game.

The Nvidia 4000s series sky flicker problem is real and it takes time to somewhat fix it in the game settings.

this game have a cool graphic but oh my god there is sky flickering glitch, that glitch make my eyes so uncomfortable, hope the dev fix this issue

As usual, Ubisoft does an amazing job recreating a real world city. The hacking mechanics are robust and actually lead to some unique gameplay. Some of the characters are annoying, but at least they're unique, memorable, and have actual depth. The multiplayer can be intrusive when you're just trying to gather collectables, but you can play in offline mode. One of the last good Ubisoft games, things went downhill after CEO Yves Guillemot fired a bunch of people to protect sexual predators in the company.

Not quite able to say "if you don't like this game, you've missed the point" (love you, Firewatch), however definitely an underrated game. Such a strong, vibrant set of characters, and a narrative that stays grounded to the world it's set in. Furthermore, the message the game carries, surrounding the dangers of the Internet of Things and giving all your data to big corporations, has done nothing but grow more prevalent and real, over the years. "You are now less valuable than the data you produce" is slowly becoming more true, by the day.

Best game in watch dogs series better than watch dogs legion. I recommend to buy this rather than some npc game like watch dogs legion

i cant recommend this game to anyone. i like the gameplay, the story, and the characters but it has constant technical issues. my pc is well above the minimum requirements but it crashes to a black screen regularly (6 times in the ~5 hours ive played) and i cant close it via task manager, or alt f4. it even crashes task manager and file explorer. i wont be coming back and the fact that this is an 8 year old game and ubisoft hasnt even thought about fixing these issues (based on other reviews) is the final straw for me with ubisoft.

Habe versucht es zu mögen, aber dieses Spiel fühlt sich an wie absolute Beschäftigungstherapie. Es kam einfach keine Quest, die mich irgendwie gehooked hat. Belanglosigkeit trifft dieses Spiel am Besten.

like the game but asked for help from devs via email and phone SAME responce and never managed to fix the glitch. so i wasnt able to continue the gameplay. cant be arsed to deal with this bullshit. i lost everything i worked on.
