Quick text review of Nova Nukers only:
-No story or campaign (Splitscreen multiplayer with an online capability) ... just play until everything is unlocked (Only took 2 hours)
-Planets (The playing arenas) are the best unlock but are a slog to get (Play the previous planet 6 times to unlock the next)
-I would guess the online is barren as the amount of Steam reviews are low (Quite an unknown game)
-Simple, fun, mobile, essentially 3rd person shooter, bomb gameplay (It is chaotic though and the mode where you bomb and then capture someone is a bit of a grind as capturing takes a while, but you can decrease capture time in the options or can consider this vulnerability part of the game) Has a nice orbital bombardment revenge mechanic too...
-It carves away nicely at the small, spherical, wrapping planet just as the other weapons do in a pleasant wormsian fashion (The planets are a big draw) plus the graphics in general are nice and cartoony
-Has pleasant, playful, space gladiator music (Reminds me of Crash Bandicoot)
Practical concerns:
-OK value for money (R4.45 / $0.60 / £0.50 per hour for me)
-Not the easiest download as it takes up 1.32 Gb on the hard drive
-Not the easiest to run

A party game based around stunning and catching each other on destructible miniature planets.

Up to 4 players, any number of whom can be bots, are dropped onto a tiny planet, on which they can freely move around. You can also dash around, stunning any players you pass through. Stunned players can than be caught, by being close to them for a set amount of time without being interrupted. Each player caught grants you a point and a round ends once only one player is left on the planet. You play any number of rounds, until one of you reaches a set number of points.
The planet you’re on is fully destructible, over time revealing its core, which you’ll bounce off of once, with the second bounce killing you and subtracting one of your points. Nova Nukers! features a lot of items, awarded at random when collecting item boxes. These can be used to set traps, destroy the planet or stun other players in different ways. Additionally, dead players get to control a laser beam, positioning it and firing it every couple of seconds to further destroy the planet.
There are different planets, often featuring some unique mechanics along with a unique theme. The game also features a few different characters, which differ mostly in appearance, but also offer minor stat differences. Some additional game modes are also available, to shake up the game’s basic premise a bit. Each match can also be configured, allowing you to change things like the point cap or the available weapons.
Most items are locked when you first start the game, with more and more being unlocked as you play. You can also unlock a number of skins for each character, which change their colours.

Nova Nukers! is a neat concept executed well enough. It’s nothing too special, but overall decent.
Note: The multiplayer is very much dead by now, meaning you should bring some friends along or be fine with playing against the decently competent bots.
Fun game needs a bigger map current one is small
I almost never review anything. I wanted to show this game some love. I HAD A BLAST with 4-player local multi (split-screen). This is an AWESOME party game. The mystery cube pickups / items are very reminiscent of Mario Kart, but it isn't a racing game. There are 3 game modes to keep it interesting. I wish there were more, BUT for what it is... plenty interesting and great fun. I wasn't really expecting much from this. Far better than I expected! We will definitely be coming back to Nova Nukers. Frantic action-packed fun! Lot's of screaming! It needs to be on local multiplayer game curation lists. So sad to see as of the time of this writing the game only has 12 reviews. This is worthy!!
best game everrrrr which unfortunately didn't get the attention it genuinely deserved
Summary: A fun couch player-vs-player game that offers a different experience than most couch multiplayer games on Steam. The controls and mechanics are simple, and the capture (instead of kill) theme family-friendly, so it's relatively easy to play with friends and family alike.
✔️ A simple concept, with simple rules, that's easy to pick up. Use bombs, or a dash, to stun your opponent. While stunned, you have a brief-window within which you can capture them (hold a button) to earn a point. First to a set number of points wins.
✔️ Simple controls. Move, look/aim, throw bomb, jump, or capture.
✔️ No blood or gore. Family-friendly.
✔️ Attractive art style.
✔️ Relatively short matches, with options to keep the sessions quick. Great for parties.
✔️ Meaningful unlockables (including new weapons) keep replaying interesting.
✔️ Steam Link and Controller support.
✔️ Small maps fit in well here, removing the "hide and seek" problem in a lot of split-screen deathmatch games.
✔️ Respawns are fast (about 6 seconds) and players can choose to respawn in any area on the spherical map.
❌ All weapons are varying forms of bombs. Some may find this repetitive.
❌ Some players may feel frustrated by the unforgiving aiming. I agree with some frustration, as it feels as though a hit directly to the character is often required which is odd for bomb-based combat.
❌ Bombs destroy the landscape, which too often creates strange areas on the map where a character can get stuck. It's usually possible to escape, but it requires a lot of jumping attempts made in random directions.
❌ Once the landscape suffers enough damage it opens up areas that injure you. Fall into the lava (for example) twice in quick succession and you die and need to respawn. With maps as small as they are, it can feel impossible just to move around without dying. Luckily the lava (the worst offender) can be deactivated as a game option.
❌ Fewer game modes than other couch multiplayer games on Steam.
A nice brawl game featuring 5 characters (maybe more in the future) who must capture the opponents when they're stunned.

+A local multiplayer where play with up to 3 friends
+A split screen for in-home parties
+Characters are really different and i like the penguin one
+Skins for characters, new planets and grenades are unlockable through wins
We're big fans of Lemonbomb Entertainment and Nova Nukers. It's a great game from a high potential team. Great details and much love in the final polish.
The core gameplay mechanics consist of throwing a variety of splody bomb items at your enemies to stun them for several seconds at a time, while you go up to them and hold a button to "catch" them, thus eliminating them from the game. That's it. Not very fun and certainly far too expensive.
cool game to play with friends and make enemies out of them
