Interesting game ,weaker compared to the other games and frustrating if you go for the achievments ,but worth playing

I adore Rusty Lake games so much and even if I need to take an extra moment to think about my next step - I still love them!

The visuals, the music and the audio are also quite soothing so even if you get stuck on something, you don't get overwhelmed or annoyed (which I can do easily! XD)

Getting all the little achievements too just makes it even more addicting!

It's short but sweet. The puzzles aren't too easy or too hard. The story and vibe are weird and grim but good. My only gripe is I wish it were easier to go back into the game after you finish it to get 100% - it requires a replay if you get to the ending before finding all the secrets.

Probably my favorite of the rusty lake games of course i 100% it :) easily the best current interactive escape game franchise out there cant wait for the upcoming one aswell!

Rusty Lake Hotel is a delightfully twisted puzzle adventure where you host five eccentric guests... and prepare "meals" with very suspicious ingredients.

Rusty Lake Hotel is a decently fun point and click adventure that I recommend running through with a guide for the best ending. The Rusty Lake series is basically a mix of Twin Peaks, Silent Hill, and genteel European folk horror. There's a society of probable alchemists bent on discovering immortality and one of the key figures is a probably dead young woman. I believe this episode of Rusty Lake is one of the secret society's rituals as told by an unreliable narrator, in such a way to portray them as cannibalistic furries trying to be the best tasting meal for the remaining guests on successive nights?

This is a wildly surreal adventure with nicely drawn art. Your mileage may vary. This was the first Rusty Lake game I played, but people who would prefer a look at the lake from a more reliable perspective should probably start with Roots. Again, the animal headed humans here are probably metaphors, as most of the characters appear as humans in animal-themed ritual garb elsewhere in the series. That said, Mr. Crow is literally a crow.

Main reason I recommend running through with a guide handy is that the best ending apparently requires the guests to be visited in their rooms in a certain order. The six year anniversary added some quality of life features and Steam Achievements, which is nice, but I don't feel like replaying the game to claim them anytime soon.

Fun creepy little point and click game.

Short, but really worth it as every other Rusty Lake game.

This game was a fun puzzle game with a mysterious twist. I loved the artwork style and easy game play.

I've played through this game three times. Twice before achievements and just now since I noticed achievements were released. This game has a few sticking point puzzles (the one where you're trying to get a specific amount of water comes to mind), but most are fairly straightforward as long as you keep an eye out for anything amiss. It's a really engaging story that makes you wonder about the lore surrounding it, and it's my favorite of all the Rusty Lake games.

Just a neat little game with freaky puzzles! I love the fact that I can go back and perfect my run. 5/5 stars all across the board! :D

Fun point and click puzzle solving game. Great art style and some dark humour in the storyline which I loved.
Took me just over an hour to play through, then had to play through again with the help of a guide to get the last few achievements which I'd never have figured out by myself.

mannnnnnn, i loved this one. i would play all the rusty lake games, if they came in a cheaper bundle haha.

Really weird-ass/creepy chef plotting but puzzles were good had fun solving them except for few cooking ingredients had to look guide to get them and those were placed in random places which cannot be found normally just to get 3 star on your dishes at the end which was quite boring to repeat it.

nice click and point game, some controls are a bit delicate (selecting stuff etc) absolutely amazing

it is creepy in a phenomenal way. the game has ways of surprising you without building any tension, yet it's not too surprising to be a traumatic thing. it's a very well written game and puzzles that are not too easy neither too hard. if you follow the clues, you'll definitely finish the game perfectly. not a single regret in purchasing this game.

One of my favourite puzzle games. Rusty Lake and the series are always good. Interesting solutions and at times unexpected outcomes.

Not only this game but all of the Rusty Lake and Cube Escape games are the best. When I was a kid i watched a Bulgarian youtuber play these games and I really loved watching him play and now I had the chance to play them myself.

This game series made me like puzzle and creepy-type games in the first place. I also have a feeling that this game had a sequel planned from the very beginning, like a kind of lore, not something improvised in terms of story. Anyway, it's a very interesting game.

I love Rusty Lake games and enjoyed the story, but some puzzles were not intuitive here and I needed to check a walkthrough to see where exactly to click, despite figuring out what needed to be done, if that makes sense. This is an older game of theirs and I will keep playing through their library.

A surreal point & click story in five parts. Set in the titular Hotel of the Rusty Lake universe.
Aside from a few typos (Allright, Let"s, ...) this is a fun, if somewhat short, game.

Absolutely lovely

This is my second Rusty Lake game and I enjoyed every second of it. The puzzles are challenging but I like that in a game. Visually, the game is great and I love that the Rusty Lake games are compatible with my Steam Deck. I can't wait to play other games by this developer.

I really liked the morbidness of the game as well as the fun puzzles! It has a good amount of replay-ability because of the optional ingredients if you missed them the first time around

Incredible. The game doesn't require a player to have any prior knowledge of Rusty Lake lore and universe to enjoy it and can sustain itself as a standalone story; so anyone can find this game to provide a very unique and fun experience. To get all the achievements the game requires to play it in a certain order, puzzles require a sharp eye and a mind that can think outside the box, or in this instance, I guess, a cube.
10/10. Love the art style, the story, the narration, the deep lore, and the spooky atmosphere.
