Really good addition to the series. Quite short and the puzzles are pretty easy. I wish there was an option to restart days in case you miss secret ingredients from other days rather than having to restart the entire save. Brilliant puzzle game though!
Excellent puzzle game. I just discovered Rusty Lake, first played Underground Blossom and now this, they've been amazing so far.

As someone specifically playing the game for achievements, I found this extremely frustrating. Wouldn't recommend.

Rusty Lake really brought home the bacon with this one!
What a way to end the game! Didn't really expected that one after all the previous dinners, I thought he'd meet the same fate as the others. Much better than Cube Escape Collection especially in regards to backtracking for achievements. The backtracking was much more tolerable and a welcome improvement. Can't wait to play the other games!
This game is terrible, point and click repeatedly under things randomly fall together!
I. can't play it anymore, when I start the game I just see a white screen. I reinstalled it but doesn't work

Short Review of the game
We'll never know whether to laugh or cry at the fate of these guests, no matter how classy they may be, having been cooked up like this. One could almost take pleasure in sending them off one after the other. In any case, like all Rusty Lake games, I’m captivated. Between tragedy and humor, the absurd and the morbid, it’s always so delightful.
I find it hard to adopt a critical mindset; playing Rusty Lake games is always a pleasure, almost addictive. The core gameplay surrounding the recipes is well thought out and quirky, and I loved the effect of repetition alongside the variety of puzzles. I took great pleasure in perfecting all the recipes to unlock all the achievements.
Still a huge fan of the art direction as well, and it has almost become a game for me, separate from the actual gameplay, to spot the same assets reused from one game to another. One can conclude that Rusty Lake, with its concept, excels in its game production recipe!

I enjoyed it. Storywise it didnt add much to the lore, but it had nice puzzles. I prefered the other Rusty Lake Games.
Frustrating puzzle games, in which the puzzles - it's mainstay - are neither coherent nor fun. The story is intriguing in it's bizzarity, though.
Woah, this game really surprised me! It's unusually- weird and gruesome. It turned from seemingly innocent to morbid real quick. I liked it more than I thought I would, and was not expecting it. I like puzzle games, and I did not read much about this one before purchasing... I got it on a good sale and do not regret it. This is a horror-puzzle game, and it can be extremely difficult/confusing at times, but don't worry- there are guides online if you need help. I really enjoyed playing this. It looks so simple, but is actually very complex. It makes you think.... A LOT. If you like puzzle games/escape room type games with a... Murderous plot, this is definitely for you. I mean, do any other games out there fit that criteria? Not sure, but I look forward to purchasing other games from this developer!

Rusty Lake PLEASE DO SOMETHING ABOUT YOUR GRAPHICS. They are so ugly and amateurish. That was fine when you were doing silly little flash games but not when you're asking money for something that looks as horrid as this. I know that you're most likely just a two person team but I also know you make FUCKTON of money from these games. Or at the very least enough for you to hire a proffesional artist that can draw better than this middle school level stuff. And don't you dare try to say that "it's the artstyle". TLDR: GRAPHICS SUCK ASS, HIRE A PROFFESIONAL.
The first rusty lake game i played and it was good
Rusty Lake Hotel is like a painting in a museum. It stays on the museum walls so we can talk about the time it came from, and how important web games were, how untethered stories could be when there was no censorship or limits. It's style and tone explore discomfort and death. Intensely but not deeply. A detailed frame on a painting that gets darker and more twisted the longer you stare. But years have gone now and the painting once provocative and gut wrenching is just kinda niche. The tone and puzzles are still fun, and the diversion is well priced. I just don't know how long this painting is going to hang at the museum of interest and common knowledge before we start to wonder what milestone painting should be hanging there instead. 6/10

I'm a big fan of point and click adventure games, especially when they're within the horror genre, so I was very excited to play Rusty Lake Hotel considering its warm reception. Unfortunately, this one didn't do it for me.
The art-style is lovely and the overall ambience quite on point. I also found the puzzles to be quite entertaining, even though some of them were a bit obscure in their solutions. The thing that didn't work for me here was the story, or more specifically a lack thereof.
To my understanding, the Rusty Lake franchise has some sort of deep lore permeating each one of their games, but I failed to catch a glimpse of that with this entry. I do enjoy a story that takes effort to get, but here I just didn't find anything that would even allow me to theorise to some extent. I did catch glimpses of some potential narrative beats in some odd places, but nothing to allow any sort of coherent understanding to any degree.
I will be playing Roots next to see if that gets me anywhere, though based on some reviews I've seen it only further tangles everything up with no apparent answers, but I'll see for myself.
As for this title, get it if you like achievement hunting since it's easy to get them, but if you're looking for a coherent horror story you won't find one here, at least from my perspective.
